Oluchi brings Next Top Model to Africa

Oluchi's production company, Lulu Productions, has bought the African format rights for America's Next Top Model. Oluchi will serve as host and executive producer, while South African Tourism will sponsor the show. The modeling reality show will begin production in August in Cape Town, South Africa. Models will be selected from eight countries throughout Africa. Great stuff!

    1. Why do Nigerians continue to display their inferiority complex to the world? She is fucking Igbo bitch so why wouldn't she sound Igbo? Its when she starts speaking English like the brits or Americans that you'll say she speaks good English? Fool.
All the other countries that have Top Model, don't they speak with their accents? I'm sure you'll say the Russian accent is even better than hers. Ewu Afghanistan

  28. At the risk of sounding like a killjoy, I'm glad for her but 8 out of over 50 countries?! Africa's next Top Model indeed. One region alone (East Africa, West etc) can provide enough contestants and drama.

  29. Nice one oluchi

  30. See how they do Africa? I remember it was supposed to be West Africa's Next Top Model but something went wrong.
Now they've come back and a whole continent will get one show? Seriously? Other counties that have very small populations still have their own top model and all of Africa is supposed to share? Reminds me of Big Brother and how they lump all Africans together.
Would have been better if it were regional or just give Nigeria their own.
Do they gave Europe's Next Top Model, or even Asia's Next Top Model? Hissss

  31. Why are they treating Africa like it is a country?

  32. What a lúvly pupfil she's got

  35. Wow! This is really a huge deal for Oluchi and am proud of her. It takes a lot to reach this stage that she has. All the best, girl!! We're on our way too!!

  36. Nawaa for Africans...nothing is original, we like to copy. American Idols...Nigerian Idols, America Got Talent, Nigeria Got Talent, Money Drop...Money Drop, Who wants to be a millionaire...the list is endless. Now Next Top Model...Nonsense. Originality is what moves me.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Then I expect u to wear and use only nigerian clothes and products. Since originality moves u, pls wear only ankara, adire, aso oke, if u r a girl, pls dnt fix weavon o, if u are a guy jst barb gorimapa. In short use only made in Nigeria products. Bunch of hypocrites!

  39. Why is it Africa's next top model? They shud have made it regional or smetin, Africa is way 2 big. They shud stop treatin Africa like its one big tree filled wit baboons and monkeys ie, stop treatin us like we're smll(like africa is a country) smh...buh still gud stuff, let's see how dis goes...*fingas crossed*

    ReplyDelete
  40. Linda please correct these people saying it takes a lot to reach this stage it does not its just a case of buying the licence its a franchise. I am no hater I am just stating facts as they are. Weki the dark south Sudanese Model is still on the catwalk doing international magazines. Lets be honest Oluchi is still very young if she had been successful as model she would still be on the catwalk. Naomi is now 42 after her Ford contract it was well over then she married that short man end of story. Nigerian standards maybe but not much to write home about it was a $200000 contract only please.

  41. Dis na d only beautiful Igbo gal I don see.d odas na akpobi dem be.lol

    ReplyDelete
  42. She's soooo rude, bitchy, stuck up, the list goes on, hope she doesn't ruin this with her attitude o.

  43. This is just a shame that as a model, this woman did not contribute to Nigeria and all she does is take take take.I don;t respect her.It took an old lady to change the modeling industry and the lives of some models giving away cars and taking them all over the place and is no longer news. This oluchi fooled us in 2008 talking about west africa's next top model. We bought forms and years later she is coming with Africa's next top model. Her face of africa which she became a partner with that white man in south africa ended and her O models africa closed down years ago.Linda you did not model in America but you are 100 times better than oluchi. She is here advertising products and taking away from this country where she did not invest.Oluchi let us face it ,your mates are still modeling all over the place and you are no longer a model. You did not make it then you will not make it now .

  44. BEST BELIEVE MOST OF THE MODELS OR SELECTED COUNTRIES IN AFRICA WILL NOT BE IN THE WEST! EAST AFRICANS ARE MUCH MORE FINER (IM NIGERIAN N EXCEPTIONALLY BEAUTIFUL...) HAHAHA

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. You sound like someone with a dwell rooted inferiority complex. You will never hear any other African leave their country to say another country has finer people expect for Nigerians! Its always NIGERIANS displaying their inferiority complex to the world.
West Africa doesn't have beauties? Even northern Nigerians are extremely beautiful but their culture frowns heavily upon such. Mali, Guinea, Senegal, Sierra Leone. The list is rather long sweetie.
The only reason why West Africans won't be the majority of the 8 counties is because i'm assuming the show will involve English speaking African counties just like big brother. For that reason alone i believe the 8 counties will be:
      Nigeria
      Ghana
      South Africa
      Kenya
      Ethiopia
      Tanzania
      Zimbabwe
and the last one i'm not so sure of.
