Agbani Darego; the face of N50 Nigeria postal stamp

The beauty queen, who brought glory to Nigeria in 2001 by being the first black African Miss World, shared this photo on her Instagram page yesterday. Her face is on Nigeria's N50 postal stamps. Well deserved honour.

  47. Dummies our postage stamps are not used for letters alone.postage stamps are used to seal agreements especially in banks.pls go to the post office and see the stamps still sell.infact for every single account opened in most banks a stamp is used not to talk of loan agreements etc

I don't mean FEDEX or whatever courier service is in NIgeria, I mean a real actual letter? Unless this is just for those who are into Philately (stamp collecting) because otherwise it is a useless gesture.
