It’s the 10th week of the Knorr Taste Quest, and the countdown to revealing the winner of season one has begun. Unfortunately however, the culinary journey of two contestants were brought to an abrupt end. The task as usual was completely unexpected as the judges continually try to fish out the best from the lot. The secret ingredients this week were very diverse, as the contestants had to work with Scallops, Asparagus, Lemon Grass, Goat chops, Garden eggs, Plantain and Coconut to make a two course meal.
At the end of the task, Chidi, a costume designer was the contestant whom the judges felt had reached the end of his journey on the show. However, just as all the other contestants were breathing a sigh of relief; Tolulope was surprisingly told to also submit her knives for eviction, as her chances of being Nigeria’s best came crashing down. The tension in the kitchen has beenvery high in recent tasks, and no one can be totally guaranteed of their place in the finals. Whose food would pass the test, and whose food won’t just cut it?
Five contestants remain on the show; Gregory, Patricia, Saratu, Ifeyinwa and Lalu. All havedifferent cooking strengths, and aside from Gregory, none has ever been in the bottom two. As we await the three next episodes to reveal the winner, which contestant would you like to see in the finals?
