'President Jonathan is eligible to run in 2015' - Abuja High Court

An Abuja High Court this afternoon ruled that President Jonathan is eligible to contest in the 2015 presidential election, if he wants to. A lawyer, Mr Cyriacus Njoku had filed a suit challenging the president's eligibility to contest in 2015.

 Below is what the presiding judge, Justice Oniyangi, said in his ruling...
"After the death of Umar Yar'Adua, there was no election or bye election, President Jonathan was merely asked to assume the office of the President in line with Doctrine of necessity. He was not elected as the President but was made to assume office by virtue of Yar'Adua's death.
“Having exhausted the late President's tenure, he sought for his party's ticket and ran for the office of the President successfully in 2011 general election. He is therefore currently serving his first tenure of office and if he so wishes, he is eligible to further seek his party's ticket through the party's primary election and to run for office in 2015," , adding that President Jonathan’s tenure as President started in May 29, 2011, when he took the oath of office and not on May 6, 2010, when he assumed office after Umaru Yar’Adua’s demise.

If PDP led FG can point to a newly constructed 100km road they've constructed in 14years, or list 10 achievements of theirs in 14years they've being in power. Then no problem. We are not talking about the borehole achievements please, and road patching oh. Final analysis PDP is a disaster to this country. Nigerians lets even try another party for once. We can now compare.     He won't go and do things that will make us want to vote for him in 2015. Instead he'll be there submitting request and petition for 2015. Since he came to power all we've heard is this 2015. And by the way Mr Presido, rainy season has finished and so has electricity. In other words it was what I said from the start. July to December is always better than the earlier half when it comes to electricity so nothing special was done.

    Do you guys know why GEJ is so slow Only because he is always get himself drunk. He is always late for appointment, You can imagine he will be so drunk before making up and dressing him , with this he would not talk much that is why is always looking like a fool on the screen. All the staff in Aso Rock know about this but for Naira power everyone kept a seal leaps. Come 2015 he would not dare to contest.
