Verve "Reward Money' debuts at The Palms

On the 28th of February - 1st of March 2013, Interswitch launched its loyalty program for verve card holders tagged ‘’ Reward money’’ at the Palms Shopping Mall Lekki.

Reward money is aimed at giving value to Verve card holders as they earn money back on their Verve cards each time they use the cards for payment on the Portal/POS at accredited merchant outlets.

 

So far, Reward Money has over 100 merchants with 5 merchants located at the Palms shopping mall Lekki Lagos. Merchants at the Palms shopping mall and the percentage of Reward Money a Verve cardholder can earn for purchasing items with a Verve card include  Splendour (2.5%), The Soul-lounge ( 7.5%) , Twice as Nice (2.5%), Phenomenon (4.5%) , and Mobos ( 2.5%).

The ‘’Reward Money’’ on the verve card can then either be accumulated or can be instantly burnt (spent) by the verve card holder at the portal/POS of any Reward Money Merchant at will.

A merchant at the Palms Shopping Mall  Bayo Haastrup , who is currently the General Manager of The Soul-lounge has been a ’Reward Money' merchant  for about six (6) months affirmed his support for the use of electronic card systems ,and generally believes the ‘’Reward Money’’  initiative is a fantastic idea as it has the capacity to boost customer loyalty as well as promote the cashless policy.

In the last one month, Reward money has launched at the Ikeja Mall as well as Adeniran Ogunsanya Mall, Surulere. The Palms Mall launch was therefore no different, as several Verve cardholders where instantly rewarded with Gift vouchers of up to N10,000 for using their Verve card to pay. This promises to be just the beginning, as the Reward Money train debuts in several Malls Nationwide. So, keep shopping and watch out as the train comes to a mall close to you.
