DeleteMontgage scheme, yuletide bumper package, salary increment...all given to super eagles and keshi!
DeleteIn as much as I obviously have no right to dictate how a man should spend his money, I believe there are better ways to put such money into good use. There are motherless babies' homes and homeless people all around who I believe deserve it the more.

DeleteYou have no idea! Take home pay is #40k per month...customer care, and he is here giving out money. To all of u using glo lines, next time you call 121, don't expect us to attend to you, afterall there's always the excuse of system maintenace

ReplyDeleteKeshi has taken his job back linda
ReplyDeleteLinda, Keshi has withdrawn his resignation..... He did that yesterday
ReplyDeleteMike Adenuga paid that large sum of money to eagles. Yet he refuse to pay his staff the salary increase he promised them in december. All mouth no action. He will rather pay the likes of dumb indians and south africans crazy salary and at the end of the day na nigerias go teach them jobs. Rubbsh!!!!
ReplyDeleteLinda I remember the guy that built the plane,is there no way you cn reach Adenuga n Dangote to sponsor him?

ReplyDeletewhat a great suprise. But mak una dey remember poor pple lik us. Aliko n denuga mak una dey remember us
ReplyDeleteI honestly dont know what this country is turning into.People who need urgent medical attention struggle to get N1.5m to take care of themselves while others who couldnt raise such money are left to die yet our stupid rich fools could donate money to the super eagles just cos they won the cup. God is watching everybody on 3D camera.
ReplyDeleteI'll never understand why its easier for us to give money to the (already) rich.
ReplyDeleteRead Matthew 25:14-30. Why was the retrieved talent given to the guy with10 talents already and not to the guy with 4 talents?
DeleteHmm..... its better keshi redigns now wif his dignity cos notin in Nigeria is constant/stable, before u knw it now super eagles will be playing like fat elephants struggling to fly.

ReplyDeleteWhat about using some of his wealth to upgrade GLO's telecommunications network infrastructures?
ReplyDeleteIs it only the infrastructure, my dear, even the customer care representatives are not happy, that is why you always get the 'system upgrade' line. #40k per month salary and u want them to stress theirselves to resolve ur issues? Abegi! He can increase the salary he promised to increase or not, its his business. What he gives in is what he get out of glo.
DeleteAll for name and glory....how much does he pay his staff, mtshewwww
ReplyDeleteGod I can't wait to drop my resignation letter in Glo......Rubbish
ReplyDeleteYou and me both.
DeleteYou and me both.
DeleteSo what r u still waiting for...did he sart d biz with ur moni? U have just 2 options if u dnt like ur current position. U stay there or u move. Are u a tree???
DeletePls increase ur staff salaries. Imagine a graduate wrkin for u and earning 42k to 52k at the end of every mnth. Call center staffs on the island are crying out. Do smtin abt our case please. We deserve salary increase.... Please.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, I am crying out. Some of his female do now do runs just so they can survive. People leaving glo just cause they feel they can make more money from doing runs than actually working. You stress yourself picking 155 calls a day and you can't complain, you cannot fall sick cause you get a query if you don't come with a sick report, and leave? No leave in 6 months even with the constant headache you get from talking for 7 straight hours...all for #40k per month.
DeletePls sumbody to link mi wit ds man, biko,I nid him to pay or help out for my msc in havard university{my dream skul},av got faith.#winks#
ReplyDeleteYou are not to be celebrated Mr Adenuga. We all at Glo customer care loathe you.pls stop promising what you can't deliver. We work for you day in ,day out but you pay peanuts, rubbish.this year you will beg people to take your jobs but we will be doing well to return to our vomit GLO.tell you kids to come, seat and do what we do..
ReplyDeletePLS MR Adenuga n dangote try n build hospltal .what u are doing now is rubbish
ReplyDeletedey deserve it oooo.... see moni, why i no dey date one of dem super eagle f/ballers
ReplyDelete@annonymous 9:49AM, pls tell them o. I know someone where I'm serving in Nsk, who needs jst 4million Naira 4 treatment. Bt all Appeal I 've been making on his behalf even on LIB proved abortive. Being a Corper, I give him whateva I can at d end of Each month jst 2 kip going. Naija n misplaced prioritites. Once again I'm repeating D Appeal. D Boy I'm talking abt is a deaf, SS boy (SICKLER, though he calls himself SOMEBODY SPECIAL), whose Single Mother cannot effectively carter 4 his health challenges with her meagre Salary as a school teacher in a Local school. For D boy 2 hear again, he needs a Special hearing aid n corrective Surgery 2 correct a case of broken nerve, which connects d Eardrum 2 d brain, that got severed frm a Menningieties attack he suffered in yr 2005 as a Js2 student. Now a Semi-finalist of d University of Nigeria, his case is a most appalling one as he struggle 2 complete his studies due 2 financial n health challenges. By D way, he is very Brilliant n brave towards his challenges. I dnt 've 2 be a SICKLER 2 knw dat d boy needs all d help dat could come his way, 2 tackle his health issues. I knw what such people, especially those born 2 poor parents passes thru hence d reason Y I'm making dis Special appeal 4 him. I 'll be glad if anybody can help me in helping the boy. I would 've Loved 2 Post his Picture with dis Story bt, I dnt owe d Blog. LINDA n oda LIBERS dat wishes 2 help can 'TEXT' him on 07060787604 to confirm my story. GOD BLESS US ALL. CHARLES
ReplyDeleteLOL I foresee the government saying the Lord has provided and so nothing else needs to be given
ReplyDeleteI have been in his company Glo since inception and trust me, we are suffering! Some small child who joined the company 3 years ago is earning twice what I earn in the name of being in sales. The guy is surrounded by hypocrites and sycophants. Too much imbalance in the system. I give just 10 percent of what I can give abeg. I won't come and die, I even want to start a blog for people to air their grieviances
ReplyDeleteNice one. 1st Dangote, now Adenuga. Dis is wah we need to motivate dis guys. Other countries do it. No wonder Keshi reconsidered his resignation. I Have The Hottest Legs In The Industry-Yvonne Nelson
ReplyDeleteAdenuga is a wicked man I mst say u go about dollin out monie to impress outsiders ur staffz dnt even have a staff bus we dnt even ave an HMO all d systems in d offce are all infected wif virus oga charity begins @ home d pple dat surround you are not tellin u the truth about wots happening in d call center shangowawa nd co. Nobody resigns frm glo happily its a big shame!I pray God opens ur eyes to see d damage ur doin to urslf ur only buh shootin urslf in d leg.Am a staff in glo nd typin dis comment wif soo much pain in my heart! How can you wrk in an org dat ur salary was last reviewed 6yrs ago yet we in d call center do d bulk of d freakin job!u tell pple u wrk in Glo dey see u as a big grl yet nuttin to show 4 it! Adenuga be guided enuf said pls!
ReplyDeleteIts well, wealth revolves. Let's hp it move to our side
ReplyDeleteA job in customer care is like slavery. Pple see u on d outside dat u lucky workin wit glo, trust me working dere is ur worse nightmare.u go 4 training without lunch. Not even biscuit.rubbish company!and yet some pple(TL) will still frustrate u on d job like its their father's company!
ReplyDeleteWalahi, I wan fuck dis man kai! I can divorce my yeye husband coz of him let me give him New York styleee... Lin lin post my comment oo. TAFIA FROM NY.
ReplyDeleteCOLLECT DANGOTE MONEY AND HE IS COLLECTING YOUR LUCK.NAIJA PEOPLE ASK URSELVES WHY THE MAN IS DASHING ALL THESE MONEY TO YOUNG SUCCESSFUL YOUTH, BECAUSE HE NEEDS TO MAINTAIN HIS POSITION AS AFRICA'S RICHEST MAN FOR A LONGTIME WITH NO COMPETITION.
ReplyDeleteIts really sad. To knw the pple in glo customer care do the bulk of the work yet they re least rewarded. Tell me what should be ur pride as a man. If pple working for u can't even pray for u or even appreciate u. Nd those at d top will bring stupid rules about booking ur leave 6months ahead. What coy does that. Knowing we work mon to sunday.God pls help me get the hell out of this crazy system this year.IJN
ReplyDeleteSangowawa, Ayanleke and co..... Sent mails to the staffs about a yuletide package . And instead of that, they didn't even pay staff salaries before the end of the year.. You bring in staffs and pay them 40k. Most of them resign after 1week of training. What do u expect? Take care of your house and stop playing the good guy out there.
DeleteMike Adenuga pays indians 25M p/annum Nigerians in sales, technical, customer care et al earns an average of 700k per annum. What sense does that make ... Forget the name , Glo isn't what it potrays outside. Mike adenuga , the exodus is coming you will feel it soon.
Delete!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's pathetic to think that small companies like garment care, TFC, and minor security outfits have staff bus. But Glo can't provide staff bus for their staffs. The company is just a shame. It's not about customer care alone, its about the whole company.... Mike adenuga, take care of your staffs.....
ReplyDeleteIs glo the only company that pays 50k to staff? Artel pays 35k mtn is about 50k. Etisalat os about 50k too...all of u comlplaining u av bn there since inception shld move if u dnt like where u are. Is glo ur father's flat? Afterall he has d biggest staff strength in telecoms. He employs easily, no test, no pannel interview. Yes people are suffering bt u r nt aware of how much he gave motherless homes last december, u r not aware of how much he donated to d flood affected victims last year, u r not aware of the number of families that feed under him....if he gives money to his glo ambassadors he is only doing marketing communication to promote his brand. Afterall pepsi does it too and they pay times 5 of what adenuga pays stars, chivita does it too and they pay heavily. All these pepsi and chivita even mtn have staff that earn below 50k. Mtn paid davido over 30m as endorsement, far back 5 yrs ago banky w collected over 20m. u not blaming these people because they dnt have a face like adenuga has. Glo is an extremely private company and is still d highest paying telecoms coy....lets appreciate him and nt crucify. Airtel sacked all their customer care agents,2 years ago.Glo is known for job security....easy my people, he is a sole proprietor and is doing his best. (pls disregard my typos android is knw for such)
ReplyDeleteYou are just a stupid idiot. Shhut the hell up if u dnt knw what the staff are complaining about
DeleteOr maybe you are shagowawa's stupid girlfriend, after all we all know he gives his girls money...GML is even his property.
Delete.....
ReplyDeleteThe salary structure in Glo is reminiscent of slavery. Now the salary is 650k per annum for new staffs (Sales and customer care).
ReplyDeleteYou pay people crap and you go on TV paying large sums of money to celebrities et al..... You need a serious reality check.
Linda, I need this story to make headlines pls! Is this man ok? He keeps doling out cash to celebs and expatriates( the red indians( rolling my eyes all the way to my brain)). How can network be good, when he's using all the money for eye service!!! What is he doing for those working for him...helping him make all the money. Working for this company is a nightmare. No structure, hence no promotion! Nothing to offer! Just a waste of tym. Yet they give people the impression that they pay fat salaries! I can't figure out how he buys the media to hide this from the public. Itscch! I can't wait to drop my resignation letter! No time to waste this year!
ReplyDeleteGlobacom is a miniature Nigeria! Everything is so wrong! Sales department eating dealer incentives; staff laid off due to fraudulent activities are repackaged by sales team and given millions monthly, company owing staff allowances for 7 years and the list goes on. The head in sales is the problem of this company!
ReplyDeleteUTI won big brother, he gave him millions, Signed PSquare & Co. for hundred of millions.
ReplyDeleteIf you are to do the maths, the money given to the eagles would amount to 50k each for 3000 staffs..... Mike, do the right thing and stop sending Sangowawa & Bella to come and shake hands with staffs... We don't want hand shakes anymore..... *Lulu*
Glo does not pay its staffs well, Gloworlds are understaffed, Applications are malfunctioning(Bscs, P.acct, Outlook.) Staffs especially sales & call centre don't have seats, Indians are over paid, Nigerians are under paid, No HMO,...et al.. Tell me how the staffs will be motivated to work.
ReplyDeleteThe truth is that we all in this country like creating a facade which isn't a true reflection of ourselves.
(@The Android user: PLEASE SHUT UP)
I work with Glo, more people resign after 1 week of training than i've seen anywhere in my life. Labor laws are not strict in this country. How can't you have basic health care for staffs, no staff bus and no allowance for it in your payslip.
ReplyDeleteGlo employs in various names: I'm sure its all part of Tax Evasion (Global Manpower, Contact centre etc). Toilet facilities are terrible... Must staffs go all the way to munchies or silverbird to use the convinience... So a little fraction of the money Mike & Sangowawa throws around can be put to better use #Justsaying
hello, mr sychophant. u are definitely not a glo staff for saying all that rubbish . mtn, etisalat and airtel pays their staffs 50k but they have a lot of staff welfare schemes in place. they have staff buses , staff boats that take their staff from the apap jetty to ikoyi , they have staff buses that take their staffs from their homes to the office morning , afternoon and nite . they also have their health insurance covered. for their staff and 4 other members of their families as beneficiaries, they have less working hours and less calls to pick . that is why a call center staff in other telecommunication company can actually spend 30mins on a call trying to solve ur issue. but in glo where u are expected to pick 165calls a day, tell me why u will get quality.in other coys there are so many other schemes in place for their staff, but with the transportation and health covered , one can actually survive with 50k.
ReplyDeletebut in globacom, u are expected to pay your transport to and fro work everyday, even when u close at 9pm after the afternoon shift. at some point we they said they were introducing bus scheme , after 2days of test run , staff were told 15k would be deducted from their salaries for that . and that ended it,where in the world do staff pay for using a staff bus biknu ooo.
then for medicals, for the past 6months globacom staff are been denied access to multisheid hmo in various hospital because our company is owing them large sums of monies . and yet we are donating millions of dollars to keshi and his boys .
its truly a shame .
i am an aggrieved globacom staff, i have so much to say , but i will keep my cool for now . but expect to read up more
linda pls oooo publish my comment oo.
ReplyDelete"Glo is an extremely private company and is still d highest paying telecoms coy"..... IS THAT WHY HE CANT FIX SYSTEMS IN THE OFFICE?
ReplyDeleteIS THAT WHY P ACCOUNT HAS BEN DOWN SINCE LAST YEAR?
IS THAT WHY THERE IS VIRUS ON THE SERVER AND ALL APPLICATIONS ARE CRASHING?
IS THAT WHY HE SHOULD SCAM HIS STAFFS(bumper, Yuletide,Mortgage, Conveyance)....... Dude, get a grip
PS: Androids don't cause typos. Learn to use it well....
Oh puhhhhlese........ money money money money money!!! No wonder people go and look for people and use them for money rituals.... This is just OBSCENE! Like WTF!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou ever need a company that has little or no care for staffs, run by erratic people, controlled by Indians of very low I.Q and the Head of HR that comes around giving handshakes and smiles,...... GLOBACOM is the place.
ReplyDeleteMike Adenuga, y do u think dey call him d Bull, cos his cruel. He doesn't know that his first point of customers are his staffs. Bumper package voice mail. Your first point of customers are ur staff. Wole ayanleke too bad u had send that email. We know u were coarsed into it. Hope u have learned ur lesson. Mike adenuga is surrounded by thieves even though they say birds of d same feather........... enough said now. Just treat us right
ReplyDeleteAfter reading most comments, One thing is evident: Staff welfare in Glo is terrible.. "Imagine going for an internal vacancy in Glo and the interviewer tells you that the requirement for the position is for you to have a car.... " Do you pay your staffs well enough for them to buy cars"? someone earning 650k per annum can't buy a car in 2 years....(Well maybe a tricycle)....
ReplyDeleteVIXEN ENTERPRISES LIMITED
ReplyDeleteCONTACT CENTRE SERVICES LIMITED
ACECROWN NIGERIA LIMITED
UMBRELLA VENTURES LIMITED
GLOBAL MANPOWER LIMITED
These are the names that Glo recruits with... I'm sure its all part of a tax scam.
Well, the Legal unit just got their salary reviewed... Just because Oando and other coys started poaching them.
ReplyDeleteLooking at the sum given to Keshi and the Eagles, it would amount to 30k each for about 3000 staffs.... Mike Adenuga, you can't run a "supposedly multinational company" like a factory. And can you just tell Sangowawa to retire, he is well past his prime.
ReplyDeleteCome to think of it,Mike Adenuga has a warehouse filled with cars (yet sales team don't even have pool cars to go out with) staffs with promise of cars in their employment letters still haven't gotten theirs. Yet you give winners of BBA cars, Keshi also got a Range sport.... Something must be wrong somewhere.
ReplyDeleteWin BBA, get millions of Naira
ReplyDeleteWin Nations Cup, get Millions of Naira
Work for me, get peanuts and no welfare.
Signed...
Mike Adenuga.....
All Globacom staffs please SHUT UP.....
ReplyDeleteGlo gives out xmas cards to staffs by February.
2013 Calenders will be given to staffs by august 2013.
No parking space: Which means don't bring your car.
Indians telling staffs not to use Phones..
Glo T-shirts that you can find on the neck of bus conductors are given to staffs every 6 months.
Staffs that couldn't make it to work during the strike get suspended...
What else can u ask for?... Glo rocks.... LMAO....
The chairman of Globacom is a canvasser of industrial slave trade...
ReplyDeleteGentlemen, please let us not crucify a man who has decided to reward the hard work of Super Eagles.is it a crime to reward them for bringing glory and pride to our country. He deserves commendation, not condemnation.
ReplyDeleteJonny
Gentlemen, why crucify a man who decided to reward Super Eagles for their hard work? Is it a crimeto reward them for bringing honour and glory to our country? Adenuga deserves commendation, not condemnation.
ReplyDeleteJonny
If you guys are truly staff of Globacom, I am amazed that you will write stuff like these about an organisation where you work. You can not curse the land where you till and eat from. I am a staff of Globacom, am still hopeful of the salary increase and mortgage scheme but I understand these are already happening. I am sure you guys have heard that the Sales and Legal departments have gotten theirs so it is happening. The Chairman is a human being and we will continue to pray for him. We need more Adenugas in Nigeria to create jobs. Rather than come to Linda Ikeji blog to curse out the organisation, perhaps you can take the entrepreneurial learnings which I am sure you have all picked up in Globacom and move on to set up your own businesses and become your own Adenugas.
ReplyDeleteAre you a learner? Oga Hope, keep hoping you hear? O ga eme gi vum na anya when after 6 years you go balance on top 40k. LOL
DeleteAdenuga is my man any day. A philanthropist to the core. What he has done for the Super Eagles is in order as part of his contribution to the growth of Nigerian football. He has even done more for ordinary Nigerians in other sectors. I am sure he is capable of sorting out any issues with his staff.
ReplyDeleteI can understand if people feel that Glo staff should also be taken care of, but that is not enough to call the man names. Adenuga has done so much for the telecoms industry and made telephone available to the common man. staff welfare can always be addressed internally, don't you think?
ReplyDeleteWale Okunowo
haba, how do we please Nigerians? you do something,it is a problem, you don't do anything, it is still a problem. If Adenuga and Dangote didn't support the Eagles we will still complain.
ReplyDeleteThe man is doing his best for the country. how many of the government thieves or thieves in government have built large companies or made donations to anything.
ReplyDeleteGlo Customer care staff should channel their grievancies through their management. This is not the best forum to sort out things. if you channel your complaints through the right channel, there is the possibility of your slaries being increasd. this is not the best channel.
ReplyDeleteOlu Areo, Lagos
Bros, which kain advise be this na? Channeling it through management is as good as tendering your resignation. Make we dey manage our kobo kobo till we find another job comot, abeg.
DeleteLol
ReplyDeleteIt beats my imagination that some people are taking on this man for giving eagles money. If he doesnt give, same people will shout "crucify him". I cherish his love for sports, especially football. He connects me with one of my strongest passions - football. Haters can go hug moving trailer.
ReplyDeleteAdenuga is spending him money to promote football. I do not have a problem with that, but I have problem with quite a number of people who know how to condemn and cannot build. The hand that gives shall continually receive, whether we like it or not.
ReplyDeleteall these people shouting Adenuga this, Adenuga that, if you cannot stand the heat, gerrout of the kitchen....ingrates like you. Why not move over to Airtel where they pay you N26k with a smile......oshisko!!
ReplyDeleteMike Adenuga has done quite a lot for the people in several parts of this country. It is quite difficult for a few of us to try to denigrate him with hate messages. If I am working in his company and I feel bad, I will simply resign and not exhibit disloyalty. Such disloyal staff is a deadly virus.
ReplyDeleteOyibo....
DeleteThe Globacom Chairman has consistently supported sports, especially football. He started spending of football even before the Globacom started operations. Such a man wins my heart anyday. His company recently concluded a football reality show where tomorrow's superstars had the benefit of being groomed by ex-internationals. I was elated when he announced the package for Keshi and the team. With the assistance of people like him, I have hope that the future of sports is brighter in Nigeria.
ReplyDeleteWho is the fella using this blog to abuse people in Globacom? We are using this forum to talk about what Adenuga has done for for our victorious Eagles. If you have a problem with your employers, go and meet them or get the hell out. Kudos to Adenuga and Dangote. We are waiting for other rich men and states to honour our champions!
ReplyDeleteWhatever anybody may say, one thing you can't take away from Dr Adenuga is the fact that no Nigerian has empowered Nigerians more than him . His largehaertedness speaks for him. If any staff of Globacom feels Adenuga is not paying well, such a staff should resign abi they use super glue to tie anybody down?
ReplyDeleteAbi o
DeleteGod bless Dr Adenuga for this huge reward and his commitment to even sponsor the team to the confed cup. This is a step worthy of commendation by all. I hope NTA and others will ensure we do not miss out of that one too.
ReplyDeleteI want to sincerely believe that all the comments about poor or king condition in Globacom are posted by those who don't understand the inner workings of the company. We haven't on god authority that the fist segment of staff to benefit from the mortgage facility has been contacted. Adenuga has given much to this country and he should be celebrated.
ReplyDeleteHmmmmmmm
ReplyDeleteSo true
I ws so tired of d bullshit and resigned. We hope things change for current staff
I wish NCC can come into dis matter and assist the glo staff in d call centre. Its really terrible. How can customer service be excellent when the staff are working grudgingly.
ReplyDeleteLinda pls dis story has to make headline cus d dat olodo android fellow feels cuz its a 1 man biz soo he has d ryte to treat pple lyke slaves den he mst be a learner no body forced adenuga to open a telecumms firm he shud go nd take a leave frm mtn nd etiasalat if he mst run a telecum org monkey d work baboon dey chop nobodi in call center is happy we jez go abua actin lyke all is well chairman has d capacity to pay all his staffs well and still smile back to d bank pls stop dos modern day slavery even if nobody will hear our cry God will cuz he is not asleep!Soon nd vry soon he will show up on our behalf Mr android dan make it look as it wot we are askin for is too much if lil coy can do it den wots d biggy?Globalcum is an org where u dnt eva get rewarded 4 ur hard wrkppl dat ave bin in d system 4 well ova 8yrs nutthin to show 4 it nt even a long service award u can imagine a manager earning d same sal wif a customer care rep# long hisssssss#
ReplyDeleteGLO is a very useless company! A place that I went for an interview and I was asked my father's occupation and if I have a car. For customer care job of 50k all this jamb questions! Smh
ReplyDeleteE be like say you goof big time for the interview. If your Papa na farmer, why you no talk am and grab the damn job? You just come here to expose your ignorance.
DeleteE be like say you goof big time for the interview. If your Papa na farmer, why you no talk and grab the damn job? You just come here come expose your ignorance.
Deleteits so funny d company dosent care if u like die on d job ......its Adenuga and indians ....wat dey hv in common i dnt knw.,no hmo..and staff will come to work healthy.,.gloobacom smh
ReplyDeletefor it....dats y d indians cnt leave glo dey ccnt get paid dt much smwher else...dats y d networks behaves like indians.,..........indiàns re so mufh in their country ....so dey dnt value lives ...dat y dey dnt care abt staff welfae...cos dey see deaths eveyday of dir lives....and dey cant return to thieir nation....bcos dey re too much ..
Don't even bother complaining coz it won't change anything... Have you guys ever taken time to check what's on your employment letter and ID cards? There will definately be an excuse for the underpaid staff... (Global manpower is the one recruiting you guys not glo) with this glo can stand tall claiming that they know nothing about what you are going through...so guys when next you seeking for employment think deep... Professor Lambert
ReplyDeleteAll of u should shut up.if u think that adenuga is not treating u fine.pls go and open ur coy and employ people too.
ReplyDeleteI wonder who is more useless; Glo or the applicant who knows the company is useless and still applied. If your own father had established a bicycle spoke making factory, there would have been no need for u asking for employment in a " useless" company
ReplyDeleteWho are all these Glo staff complaining about salary ad et still remain in the company. If the company does not meet yor expectations, can you just quit.
ReplyDeleteNo amount of denigration and name calling can take way the fact thatAdenuga remains the best a nation can produce. I don't think Adenuga has doe anything wrong by employing a worker ad paying him or her what he considers appropriate, he is only fulfilling biblical injunction of paying a wage that a labourersSklled deserves
ReplyDeleteI have read most of the comments on this platform and I conclude that people are just bellyaching for nothing. Adenuga owns his money and he spends it the way he likes. Can any of these disgruntled staff tell us if the money given to the Super Eagles is part of their salary review or whatever? Can someone tell these guys that they have the write to resign and ply their trades somewhere else.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteIn a civilized society, a man like Adenuga will be celebrated and made a national icon but here we are calling the man names. If it is true he does not pay his workers well, can we just ask ourselves how many companies are paying can pay more than 30k to graduates in this country? I have relations and friends in Globacom Audi can testify that they are well paid and meeting their responsibilities and paying their bills with ease. God bless Adenuga and many of him should come up
"Audi can testify that they are well paid and meeting their responsibilities and paying their bills with ease." Oh shut the hell up! Pay the bills with ease my foot! If you are not wearing the shoes, you do not know where it's pinching the wearer. Take your bloody opinion and shove it where the sun don't shine!
DeleteU guys r crucifyn glo staffs abi,dnt u know dat customers r d 1 payn ds money bn issued out 2 super eagles, flood victims nd co. U recharge nd d nxt tn is ur crdt bn deducted for a service wch u didn't subscribe for.Example is 4040,77011,5050,8888,77022,30807 etc. U tried loadn a card nd it shows invalid,u won't b able 2 load again.lots of card issues nd u tink he is actually givn out from his hard earned money no not dat customers defraud money is wat he is givn out,u guys shoulnt conderm glo oo cos I no sup wit d staffs nd I hav also worked dre b4 joinin PWC.Adenuga blivs if u dnt bring in revenue 2 d coy de it is not necesary for him 2 increase ur salary. Glo peeps r really suffering cos de work lik elephants nd r bn paid lik ant. It is well.
ReplyDeleteDamage control measures in full effect...
ReplyDeleteDamage control ke? Globacom? Nowhere near possible. LOL. These outbursts will reach him, but as always, it will die a natural death
DeleteEhyaa,I pit u guys workn wit glo,God will strengthen u guys nd establish u al.Baba Adenuga is tryn ooo,its jus dat customer care cries is not gettn 2 him,he blivs u guys r enjoyn cos he is not gettn any complains,u guys shud kip prayn.
ReplyDeleteI left Globacom after 6years for a less paying job . I am grateful for the experience and opportunities that the company gave me which can't be bought anywhere . It's very sad when you realise that all your work and efforts don't make sense in the company because the money you make for the company is bn spent on unnecessary matters . The money gvn to the footballers is small compared to all other irrelevant issues dey spend money on , is it the girls they take outside the country for events and come back to give them huge amount of money and those that work to make this money are bn treated like piece of rubbish . I am sorry I am saying this about the company that gave me my six years experience in my career but its rather unfortunate and not encouraging at all . I wish the staff could get a body to stand up for them .They are really suffering
ReplyDeleteI'm loving all the comments from globacom staff! U've mad my evening! All laughs!hehehehehe
ReplyDeletea lot of truth has been spoken from both sides. it is actually commendable that adenuga shows support to football in Nigeria, also on the issue of the working conditions in glo, it's really appalling. he is quick to reward people entertaining albeit they represent all of us (Nigeria) in good light, but the hands employed to work to ensure steady in flow of this wealth are taken very much for granted. it will really be even more commendable of him to proper remunerate his staff whether monetary wise or better working conditions. it's common practice in working places, even smaller companies are able to do it. chief adenuga pls do continue in your philanthropy but please also try to make your staff happy. obviously from the comments, a lot of the staff are disenchanted and hence, de motivated, and this will definitely impact on their productivity which is the reason they are employed in d 1st place. these are my own lil nuggets of wisdom.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately! Worked in glo customer care for 8yrs nada to show for it.was obviously unda a spell to stay dat long thank God 4 liberation of been treated lik slaves.Teamleaders wil treat it lik their fathers inheritance & frustrate u.Adenuga do sonthin 4 ur current staff.Eye service!
ReplyDeleteAll the comments made by Glo staffs are valid. I worked in Glo and not the customer care. I was in technical .... The common saying is that Mike doesn't know about the rot in the system, but I beg to differ ... The guy is a modern slave master. People leave Glo in drones. Nobody should shout the staffs down, it has been turned to a Glo forum, ..... Yes So What?????
ReplyDeletewell i have heard so many complains from GLO Staff and the system is quite pathetic. when that their so called COO (JAMEEL) left things appeared to improve but his return has turned the company downwards again. Guys its not only customer care oh. I also heard that most of their offices arent well provided for. No dispensers, Toilets rolls, Printers, photocopiers, Papers to print etc. staff use their own money to run the company in their own little way just to be able to deliver. These indians are not smart they must have used something for this man. and to all of you telling them to shut up i pray for you that your situation goes to that of the people in the call centre receiving 30k, 40k, and 50k speedily. Say amen if you know that prayer is good for you. You cant abi? then why wish someone else. The man has tried in time past but things need to improve. I have spoken to several staff of his company they are all disloyal and wont mind seeing the company even go down and it shouldnt be so. GLO management act fast before you lose your best hands.
ReplyDeleteAm surprise 2:1 nd First Class students in Glo are speaking this way. Where are you guys Thinking cap? The simple antidote to you guys predicaments is stepping out from the "comfort-zone of slavery" and take the bull by the horns. If you truly know the stuff you are made-of guess you won't pick calls with your 2:1 and First class degrees or even International Masters. First within and then without. Check yourself and re-examine your thought pattern. Adenuga don't give a damn shit of what you guys say. Please peeps wake-up and smell the coffee. @ Prof. Lambert, good observation, its shows you know the company pretty well. www.pethianopeters.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteGlobacom this... GlobAcom that!
ReplyDeleteAll true sha!
Otunba Chief! I beg, gather your offspring together and let them focus on wat they should focus on (staff) rather than inspecting toilets about and renovating shops!
Ssssshhiiioooorrrrrr!!!!
Well you know sey dem sabi how to shine for outside so I wont be surprised if they have people that would be sponsored to say that these things arent true. Anyways linda dont pull this story down oh and if you can help the people suffering in GLO please help them through this medium. NO COLLECT MONEY OH!!!!!!!! The company is total crap a true representation of the rot in the country from all i heard.
ReplyDeleteThat reminds me, I even heard from a friend that staff that work Mondays to fridays have now gradually been forced to work saturdays due to meetings that make no sense and change nothing. May God help una wey dey that company oh
Kai! O ma shey o!
ReplyDeleteSee what a graduate writes: "Take your bloody opinion and shove it where the sun don't shine!" And another one: "People leave Glo in drones".
ReplyDeleteWhich university produced these kind of graduates? We are in trouble in this country. Yet all they think about is how much salary they want to earn. How can a company employ someone who cannot write simple, correct grammar and pay him/her well? Pls tear your certificates and go back to school. That is you are not too proud to learn.
Those comments You're talking about are expressions.Expressions really don't have any grammatical basis or foundation. They consist of slogans, and can be ambiguous. So "shoving something where the sun don't shine" is an expression which is a subtle way of saying we don't need your opinion, or shut up.... I suggest u look up the meaning of drones in the dictionary then u will understand the intent of the person that used it.. We all aint perfect, you omitted words in your comment that made your sentences incomplete, no one is gonna tell you to "tear up your certificate" because of that.....*lulu*
DeleteThis Useless man, that treats his staffs like slaves. After 3 and half years we still on the same salary and you had the gut to send a mail to all staffs that you were going to increase our salaries with a bumper package and 3months after all have gone into voice mail.
ReplyDeleteyou even had to re interview us in my department claiming that we dont work and all when we are the ones that makes money for you by rolling out network for you.
as to me i know am leaving you in few months and you will feel my impact.

ReplyDeleteFor those who assume that things are well at globacom and have asked those complaining to resign have a valid point but at the same time cannot authoritatively talking about the workings of the place better than the staffs that actually work there. That is mistake and should exercise caution. But i know that MR ADENUGA + INTEGRITY DON'T MIX. OIL AND WATER.....FACT. My opinion for those you don't agree with me sponsors..... have the choice to disagree its a free country
ReplyDeleteFor those who assume that things are well at globacom and have asked those complaining to resign have a valid point but at the same time they cannot authoritatively talk about the workings of the place better than the staffs that actually work there. ReplyDeleteHe that wears the shoe knows wear it hurts. you say leave if you aint satisfied with the salary how does the country grow.if people keep thinking this way. lets call a spade a spade. staffs in globacom are heavily indebted, go to banks and ask questions, how can you work in a company 4 10years and be on the same salary, how can you be promoted on paper ad yet doesnt affect salary, how can you be sexually harrased because you need to be promoted, how can your so called bosses call you names in a corporate environment? when you keep quiet it remains or even gets worse. dont be quiet globacom staffs we are backing you up and patiently waiting for the investigations to end lets see just whom they want to sack> we will take it up thanks linda for this site good one kiiin
ReplyDeleteIts rather unfortunate that so many things are not right in Globacom. The truth is that the company lacks STRUCTURE. I know an Indian who was on N15million per annum, but when he left, a Nigerian young guy took over his position and was earning just N4million per annum for doing the same job (and even better). I also know a guy that resigned and picked a less paying job and he is happy today. Motivation is near zero and members of staff are not being rewarded. However we can't over-rule the fact that Adenuga has put food on the table for several families and he deserves some commendation. I will therefore advice the aggrieved to improve their skills and look out for better opportunities.
ReplyDeleteBack in the days , we watched our older ones work for a couple of years buy cars, build houses........ Guess they didn't work in Glo.... Glo is a place where u work and don't eat the fruits .... Your job fu ctions changes but your salary remains the same . I think its hightime they put some structures in place . People can't just be working and waiting for the day when Mike will be in a good mood and increase salary. Sangowawa no shake hands yesterday .....lol..... Fear no let am ... People eye don Red finish
ReplyDeleteLinda, the guy sent his kids out today to inspect facilities .... U are doing something great so please kip approving those comments and I bet you, you might just be doing one of the greatest deeds imaginable .
ReplyDeleteGuys let's appeal to Dangote to come and pay our salaries, give us health insurance and staff busses. If dangote agrees to do it, then Mike will come to his senses cos I think there's an unspoken rivalry between them
ReplyDeleteMike Adenuga has a right to spend his money as he deems fit, and that money does not come from GLO alone, so it is erroneous to say glo staff make the money he spends. Secondly, the CCR's who are over a year earn abt N1m per annum and older ones between N1m-N2m. These staff members complaining here are recent intakes, bcos i know for sure that they dont earn as much as their senior colleagues. I think it is wrong to bite the hand that feeds you, unless that hands stops you from feeding yourself. You lot have seen an avenue to air your grievances, yes, but you should not go to the extent of raining insults on a man, who makes it possible for you to put food on your table. There are so many people out there who are jobless, resign and give them the chance to be employed. It is ok to critize but to do it this way, you are all ingrates. Reply and insult me for all I care. Wont put it past you lot, going by your levels.
ReplyDeleteIs my Glo modem working?
ReplyDeleteare you there?
ReplyDeletehello mister annonymous of 10.25pm comment. its obvious you are one of those who benefit from adenugas largesse monthly and quaterly. a coy where sales and marketing do all the work, the sales director takes the glory and bonus largesse home and would never commend or even share a bit of the largesse to the boys at least to encourage them .
ReplyDeleteeven those u claim are on 2m, what structure have u put in place for them despite their years of service and dedication. your job function changes but u are still on same salary , spending ur monies to run facilitate things , etc.
a company where you are sent on an assignment outside the state and u are expected to pay ur airfare and fend for yourself . your accomadation allowance and feeding a day is N6,000. WHEN WE ALL KNOW THAT THE CHEAPEST HOTEL ROOM IS ABOUT N10,000. the staff now resorts to hanginging with friends, in that town just to make ends met. and you come back tender ur travel expenses (which already has a fixed amountand which is not supposed to be above the companys specified amount ), u get to recieve the monies 3months or more after u have come back . thereby subjecting you to all sorts of insults and blood pressure from people you borrowed monies from to go on an official assignment .
network is zero, the ccrs are expected to be nice to customers. how does this happen .
all staffs are denied hospital access because the company has been owing hmo for over 7months .
no staff welfare etc.
we are not abusing the adenuga, we appreciate the fact that he puts food on our table , but what happens when u still have to borrow to survive , when your take home pay no longer takes you home .
all we are saying is instead of doling out large sums of money to people, fix ur problems, fix the systems in the office , provide seats and facilities for a good working enviroment, provide goof toilet facilities so we dont have to go to silverbird to use their toilet ,provide parking space for staff to at least park their cars , instead of paying 200naira everyday looking for car park , provide buses for staffs , especially to ease the pains of thos who earn less than 50k.
charity they say begins at home .....
you in nigeria dont complain u re lucky to be home, you need to come and see what is happening to your colleagues in glomobile ghana, you wud shed tears, torture of the hihest order. they all want to come back to nigerian
ReplyDeletelinda still waiting for my comment oooo

ReplyDeletePeople dey vex ooooooo
ReplyDeleteIt is with heavy heart i write this,Globacom as a coy lacks structure, all staff of the coy are not happy, not just the call center, but all units. The problem is from the top. Adenuga,my mentor though,is surrounded by hypocrites. i was once a staff of globacom and after spending 3years of my life i knew all was not well. The slave drivers(Indians)and the lazy southafricans are the major problem of the coy. They care less about staff welfare and always come up with sickening rules, the indians actually borrowed the idea of paying graduates 42k per month to adenuga ie Mr Jameel, while they do nothing but walk round the offices like that Mr Ramnant of the call center.....it is really disheartening that globacom is like this today,May God preserve adenuga, give him long life and prosperity plus wisdom too....my recommendations...pay unscheduled visit to each department and ask your staff about the working conditions,or rather change your management team...all your directors lack the modern approach of management, when was the last time they went for training??? I am Mr Redemption,i gained freedom and sanity when i resigned from Globacom.
ReplyDeleteHow are we so sure that this "GURU" is listenin.....? I'm cocksure that His loyalist (people that collect brown envelope to sell their conscience puting theirselves in a position that wouldn't allow them to tell the man simple truth) must have brief Him on what is going on within the workforce.....My candid advice to Him,is to swallow His pride and do the needful by redeeming all promises to the entire staff ASAP.it takes time to build an empire but the same empire can be destroy within few second.A WORD IS ENOUGH FOR THE WISE.
ReplyDeleteI am a staff of Globacom. I'm a sales staff to be precise. I am not happy with the system either. If I am to curse adenuga, 40 dys and nights won't even be enuf. But instead, I have planned my exit. Of course working in Globacom means one has home problem already. Cos it's only when ur village people want to kill u that dey will make u apply for a job in Globacom. My advice to my fellow colleagues is to LEAVE. Simple. Let's take our experiences and also build our own empires. Adenuga has one head. U have one also. So put it to use.
ReplyDeleteMy genuine thanks to Him are beyond measure for the opportunity given so far so good......but the fact still remain that we all need something to show for the number of years we've worked meritoriously in your coy.
ReplyDeleteThe truth is that Globacom can never move to the next level with incompetent Indians and South Africans in the organization. It's really a joke when you interact with these guys and their low level of intelligence makes you wonder how they got here. Globacom has no respect for the expatriate quota. It as bribed its way into the very essence of the Nigeria press to whom Adenuga can do no wrong. Everything is wrong with the system. Just 30% of the workforce accounts for over 70% of the payroll. Globacom is a forgone conclusion because nobody within the system is fulfilled. He should ask for the true report of the internal audit done last year which was hijacked by Sangowawa and his cohorts. Globacom is only organization where the majors units are headed by incompetent Indians. I wonder how come an Indian understand the mentality of an average Nigerian to determine his or her purchasing culture. The only way to get a salary review is to drop your resignation letter. I just hope Adenuga gets to read this himself. If Linda Ikeji is not bribed like other Nigerian press.
ReplyDeleteWat d glo staffs A̶̲̥̅̊rε̲̣̣̣̥ sying isn't far frm d truth. As a former staff of globacom I can say dat d company is a living hell to work at. I worked wit d company for more dan 6months before I moved on. Currently I am currently working with mtn now. And pple shud neva compare mtn to glo in terms of staff welfare.
ReplyDeleteMtn ccrs A̶̲̥̅̊rε̲̣̣̣̥ segmented. Meaning dat u start as a standard rep and rise on d ladder until u get to platinum. Its a kind of promotion which reflects on ur salary too. But at Globacom ur static.
Mtn maintains a pay as u work policy. Meaning ur paid according to d number of hours worked. Overtym and public holidays A̶̲̥̅̊rε̲̣̣̣̥ also put into cognisance. So ccr's at mtn earn btw d range of 86k to 105k for standard reps and it rises according 2 ur segment. Whereas at glo ur paid a fixed rate of 42k and 52k witout consideration of public holidays and d rest. Too bad.
At mtn we pick less calls and work lesser hours. 90 calls in 6hrs compared to glo's 165calls in 7hrs dats crazy. Mtn staffs A̶̲̥̅̊rε̲̣̣̣̥ also beta equipped wit all d applications to resolve customer queries thrby reducing further d average handling time used to attend to a call. But at glo aside frm pacct and siebel whc is always dwn, wat else again is available for these ccr's to wrk wit. A glo ccr doesn't evn have sumfin as common as an official mail.
At mtn ccrs wrk 4 tyms a week and must hv 3days off days but at glo, 3days off days is given once in a month and it comes wit d price of a double nite shift (back 2 back).
Its no longer news dat mtn has adequate airconditioned buses dat conveys staff to and fro work and home at no cost frm d staff. Dey evn own a jetty wit more dan 5 functional speedboats dat ferries staffs to d island frm apapa. Wen I was working at glo, I was earning 42k and spending ova 26k on transportation excluding feeding o. Now I dnt spend up to 10k per month on transport since I started working wit mtn.
At glo my hmo package was meant to cover just me and yet I kudnt get access to adequate medicare cos glo kept owing d hmo lots of money despite deducting it frm my salary. Mtn provided an executive hmo plan dat wud cater for me, my spouse and 4kids whc is how it is supposed to be.
The list of benefits is endless and d difference btw yellow and green is very clear. For my friends who I left behind, I kip praying for u guys to get anoda job and leave dat shit hole of a company called globacom.
I am glad members of staffs are writing stuffs like this. May it be well with you all. Globacom is gradually going through a rot. I made up my mind to leave at the end of February and I'm doing so. The fact that Indians and some select nigerians get all the money and reward is just pathetic.
ReplyDeleteKamal the head of postpaid sales is the greediest person alive. He looks after his own interest... No pool cars for sales guys, conveyance isn't paid, and you still gring these guys day in day out to deliver. I'm beyond words...... He has sold his conscience.
As for customer care, that dept is the worst ever and those guys work like machines. Sangowawa was the catalyst of rot in the call centre. You treat customer care like a punishment ground for erring staffs... Like a place of demotion, a place where u send staffs that have lost favor in the eyes of the management.
Ramnath is just a ridiculous fellow.. You have Nigerians with years of experience and qualifications to run customer care but yet you keep people like Ramnath, Annil, Isaac, etc ...and pay them millions monthly to do nothing but walk up an down and smoke.
I don't want to believe that Mike Adenuga doesn't know anything about what's going on.. He isn't exactly an icon of integrity.
If garment care (a dry cleaning outfit), Mama Cass (restaurant), etc.. all have staff busses to cater for their staffs, then why should Glo not provide staff busses for its staffs.
Human resources threatens staffs, they tell them to go to the northern gloworlds or be forever condemned to customer care.. What madness. The head of human resources should stick to what he knows best.."Chasing Fair complexioned ladies"
I'm bowing out ... My days in Glo are over..... . I do hope they change for the benefit of those still there..
To all of you who says we should be happy that Glo employed us ... You're as backward as you're screwed... A certain lady in SRU(oyalitit) wants us to be happy that he employed staffs, do you know that running a business boarders on the factors of demand and supply. He needs his staffs. I know you're like the bread winner of your family that's y you're happy sitting back and saying stuffs like "what if he didn't employ us" ..... Ehn let him call his kids to do the work na....
ReplyDeleteTo the sales team, for there to be a change, Kamal must go.... Cos he is a slimy fellow that knows only himself.
To customer care, for there to be a change, Maria, Ramnath, Isaac, Annil, Bimbo,Kemi, must go.... That's just the truth.
For there to be a change in IS, Cesar Camara must go... Be brings nothing to the table... He only conducts meetings and drinks coffee.
Then for the company to move forward generally, Jameel & Sangowawa must go.. If those 2 are the eyes of Mike Adenuga, then he is a blind man cos those 2 don't have anything good to offer the company.
nigerians in glo mobile ghana are suffering. No work permits, salaries are still being paid to their Nigerian Accounts and their families transfer it to them... No relocation allowance, imagine being transferred to Ghana and your company makes no preparation for your housing, mobility and accommodation. Yet the Indians in Nigeria have service apartments, cars, drivers etc....

ReplyDeleteSincerely speaking, I am tired of complaining or talking about the situation within globacom. I am just praying and looking for an opportunity outside the company. My heart is nolonger with globacom. Waking every morning, leaving my family to drive all the way to work, is like punishment. Globacom is the first company I am working with after my NYSC and I have been with them for over 5yrs now, believe you me it has taken every zeal, inspiration out of me. I just cant wait to make my exit.
ReplyDeletei used to work in technical department of Globacom and thank God today that I moved on late last year.
ReplyDeleteI am even surprised that Technical staff in globacom are not even complaining when indeed they are the worst hit in the whole scenario. one particular thing CCR and other units should be appreciative of is their freedom to leave the job unhindered. don't mind me if i am sarcastic!
can u imagine that technical guys are sent on 5-days local training with 5-years bond or 10 million naira in lieu if they want to leave. which company in the world can do this except Globacom.
Some of this guys got new job but they cannot leave because they did not have 10m to pay Globacom . For those that dare to leave, they nearly lost or lost the new job because Globacom was not ready to provide reference. for those that stay, they have been on the same salary for the past four years.
Is it the CTO, an indian, that uses every opportunity to call Nigerians in technical department fools. to my surprise some Nigerians are even following his footsteps. he has been CTO for over six years, what knowledge has he transferred to Nigerians? In the real sense of it , expatriates are only needed when such skills are not available locally and such expatriates are expected to transfer such knolwedge to locals within two years. so what is this CTO and his fellow indians doing in Nigeria after two years? Moreover, these indians lack the basic work etiquette.
even if Adenuga have to listen to your pleas, you should not be surprise that the Ogas and the indians that are already heavily bumpered say 15m/a will have minimum of 30% (4.5m) increment and guys that are responsible for day to day activities of network with 1.5m/a for the past three years will have 5% (75,000) increment. fundamentally, something is wrong with that company and every decision maker in the company. If you cannot fight the injustice as a group then plan your escape route.
As a spouse of a glo staff i can say the company is a beautiful bride with terrible character.
ReplyDeleteYou never know this until you are in there.
The day my husband was given a transfer letter to ghana still remain our worst nightmare.
The family never remained the same until God intervened.
From our discussion, i can boldly say;
1. You can work in glo for more than 6years without been confirmed(all depts, not just customer care)
2. There are only 2 dept in glo - sales and communication
3. It is possible for a subordinate to earn more than his boss
4. Nothing happens unless a memo is written
5. Leave request is a privilege, not a right, yet it is NOT monetised
6. In other MNC, people lobbied to be transferred out of their home country, not in glo
7. You can remain on the same salary for the rest of your years in glo
8. The bosses who lie the most before chairman are the heros
9. There is only one person that can take a decision
10. Another name of glo is use and dump
11. You don't go for training in glo
12. 80% of the rubbish they do there is not known to the chairman
13. Staff welfare is zero
14. More than 95% of the staffs in ghana are ready to return to Nigeria if they have the opportunity
15. If you are transferred to Ghana, you are more disadvantaged, you will be maintaining
2 homes with same salary
16. Even HR don't have record of its own staff
17. Ghanaian staffs n glo ghana are treated as kings because their labour law is working
18. It is possible to be a management trainee for more than 6yrs no matter your performance
19. There is no structure in glo
20. They can give out millions of dollars, yet the "washroom" as it is called in ghana dont
have common toilet roll, the staffs always use water to wash their butt, what a company!!!
The world aint fair is a common saying. You can't please all is a common saying. You can satisfy only a few is also a common saying. But what happens when u don't satisfy a few, please no one and u aren't fair to all. (Globacom)
ReplyDeleteAs a customer, Glo charges you for data even though your blackberry subscription is still on. You get subscribed to all these useless services that you pay for and don't need(5050, 4040, 8080, 72011, 8888, 50410, 563, frenzo chat, glosoccer, gloradio etc). If you can cheat your subscribers, then I'm not suprised that you're cheating your staffs.
The main job of the Indians in glo is to give business and service ideas that are not tenable and can't work in the Nigerian demographic market. That's the reason why Glo Naija sings can't ever be as successful as project fame(mtn), Nigerian Idols (etisalat). Take a cue from other multinationals in the country and you'll see that their Nigerian quota is what's keeping them afloat. Don't bring people with base ideas from a failed market to run your company.
How can a company conduct interviews by 11:46pm for new staffs and you expect them to go back to their respective homes that same night knowing well that most of them don't stay on the island. That's just callous and it was at that point that I concluded that the company does not care about peoples welfare.
Linda, Mike Adenuga isn't a philanthropist, he has an unspoken rivalry with Aliko Dangote. One of the reasons he donated to the eagles and the flood victims was because Dangote did so...
Don't ever come for service camp in my company again. Your charges are erroneous, BSCS is never working and I'm gonna push for your lines to be dropped. Believe me I will....
I have friends in sales and they always have something to complain about... I know for sure that they are not happy. How can you guys come to my office always for visitation and still will not improve service delivery and improve network.... Hehehehe I'm laughing in spanish....
Glo staffs, the powers that be will move for your benefit.....

I feel the pains of CCRs, but the real disadvantaged ones are the Nigerian guys in Glo Ghana, they are amongst men most miserable.
ReplyDeleteIf I am to write about their dilemma, am sure this forum would not be enough.
These guys are forced to run 2 homes on same salary, get official job done with their own money which will not be re-imbursed until after 9 months; even when your child is terribly sick in naija, you can't go and visit, cos they won't sign your leave firm.
Why treat your own people as slaves in foreign land?
As I write, I feel seriously angry towards the unrepentant liars we have as bosses.
Linda, pls don't let Mr B. and his guys buy your conscience as they do to most media, help publish this comments
May God reward those guys who laboured so hard to ensure the launch of glo ghana, though the company dont even know your names but some of us does.
