'I was dead for over a week' - First Lady Patience Jonathan

Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor praying during thanksgiving for the First Lady in Abuja yesterday
Our First Lady said yesterday February 17th during a praise and thanksgiving ceremony she hosted at the presidential villa, that she 'died' but was miraculously resurrected after undergoing series of operations within a week.  She narrated a lot about her ordeal. See it below
“I remember when Chief (Olusegun) Obasanjo was the President of the country, I was close to his late wife, Stella. We worshipped together in this chapel. It was a painful moment for me that time when she died and her corpse was brought here. That was how my corpse would have been brought here. It was not an easy experience for me. I actually died; I passed out for more than a week. My intestine and tummy were opened.
“I am not Lazarus but my experience was similar to his own. My doctors said all hope was lost.
See more after the cut...

“A black doctor in London who is with us in this service was flown in when the situation became critical. It was God himself in His infinite mercy that said I would return to Nigeria. God woke me up after seven days.
“I know that some people somehow leaked the information that I was dead. They are people that I trust and rely on; to them, I was dead and I would never return to the country alive. Some of them even sold my things off.
“I won’t say everything here. It is the Lord’s doing that I returned alive. When God says yes, nobody can say no.
“People are always afraid of operation but in my own case, while my travail lasted, I was begging for it after the third operation because I was going to the theatre every day.
“It was God who saw me through. I did eight or nine operations within one month. It was not an easy one.”

“The day I came back, I said God I have nothing to say, I offer myself to you. I will be doing things that will touch the lives of the less-privileged.

“God gave me second chance because I reached there. He knew I have not completed the assignments He gave me, that was why I was sent back," she said.

Meanwhile, God is merciful God. His ways are not our ways..if He looks upon everyone's imperfections, will any of us stand?? NO, NOT EVEN ONE!!!

  38. Aunt Patience, you did not die for one week. You were 'resting'. When you came back from Germany, you told the world you didn't know 'that hospital'. It shows you are a bloody lair. So why tell the world this story? Why the sudden turn around? Why was it so hard for you to say the truth on your return? It show you don't respect God. It would have been better if you had kept quiet instead of lying. I don't think the good people of Nigeria wish you dead. I personally prayed for your recovery when I heard you were under going treatment in Germany despite the many denial from Aso Rock. When the Governor of Enugu came back, he told the world he was treated for cancer, I respect that man for telling the truth.

  42. adam First lady, why should your friends and associates be holding your properties in trust for you, not to talk of their plans to dispose them off without your consent and hoping that you've embarked on a journey of no return? Does it mean you acquired those properties through proxy, mostly cronies? A foul stench of corruption hung in the air!
You see what N 1 Billion food can do to your intestine and stomach now? Yet, this year is no different with another N 4 B budgeted for a a phoney first lady mission house. Be careful, hope that will not be the end of you. If you had been in any hospitals built by your government in Nigeria and supplied with power by your PHCN, you would have long been dead. Hope your retardeen husband actually does something before he is removed from that position!Linda, pls post my comment.

  116. A lot of Nigerians didn't complete their assignments too but guess, what they died because no one could take them to Germany, India or London. Not saying I'm unhappy about your recovery but I think helping the less privileged is a bit of a cliche now. Tell your husband to invest in quality health care for the 'less privileged ' so that they can have a second chance at life, like you did; that is if you genuinely feel touched by the Lord.

    ReplyDelete

  129. Aunty Patience since you are on the path to telling all why not tell Nigerians what caused your 'ailment' now? You had gastric bypass done but came back home & started eating what you weren't supposed to according to your Drs this resulted in complications re: the bypass surgery, hence the opening & re opening of you stomach! FYI gastric bypass surgery is considered plastic surgery, tell the truth for once or shut the f* ck up & let us be!

Why can't she have a press secretary to make sure her grammar, diction and description of events is accurate and she gets across exactly what she means to say? She forever sounds like a village headmaster with half baked education. Disgraceful!

  136. This woman came back and lied to us that she was never admitted into any hospital. Now she is celebrating her recovery and telling us some stupid story of how she died for seven days. That means she has broken Jesus Christs Record. All of us are here swallowing it hook line and sinker. We really need to wake up. In a developed country, this alone should call for her husband's resignation. But here in our country anything goes. And we expect God to come and Deliver us. He will not. Not with men like Oritsejofor coming there to shamelessly pray for her.

  142. Prayers can do all things, so I surprise why the pastor didn’t pray to her in the first place and also command the sickness out of her body with the God power in him, instead of risking her life undergoing such surgery. Afterall, we are told that they have calling of God in them and with Jesus name they can do all things, or they are practicing what they preach only by cruising with jets and most expensive cars in town? In which we see reasons to sing praises to their Gods that he is empowering them mightily. Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. (John 20:21)

In our relationship of active faith in Christ we have strength we could not have any other way, Strength to adequately evaluate ourselves, Strength to know the difference between right and wrong by faithfully applying his word, Strength that comes through the remission of our sins, Strength in response to prayer we offer to God through him, Strength of character as we follow his example and obey him. This is strength in such abundance, we are able to do everything God wants us to do. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13)

(James 2:17) In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. So what stops the pastor from exercising the strength of God in him? The Pastor would have prove what he preach by healing her, and so practice his faith that we may see and glorify God as well than them telling us stories all the time. What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, depart in peace, be warmed and filled, but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. (James 2:14-17.

  146. Thank God for the gift of life. @ all,we always seem to be antagonist and judgemental instead of being grateful/thankful. We only wait for when someone dies b4 we appreciate them. God saved a mother from an untimely death!this could be any other person's mum. Yes,she may have her flaws, but no one is above mistakes. We should all be thank God for/with her.

  148. Thank God for your life and may God make your healing to be permanent IJN. Libers!!! Can't we learn to sympathise with people? What has her husband style of governance got to do with her illness and recovery? There is no differnce between coma and death because in both states you are oblivious of what is happening around you. I thank God for our first lady and may Jehovah avert further tragedy.

  149. Thanksgiving my foot .I am not only shocked but surprised that over 3'000 guest went for a thanksgiving of something that never happened. i am sure the first family felt the need to have a big owambe otherwise she told us she was not sick!and now a thanksgiving?. With all due respect ma, you are a liar i am not surprised that other liars too joined you to thank who? God after you lied in His name? You need to repent to God for lying and ask for forgiveness from the whole world you lied to instead of thanksgiving! and read Psalm 42 MADAM.
