CCTV punch attacks: Nigerian Michael Ayoade jailed for 4 years

The 35 year old Nigerian man, Michael Ayoade, who was caught on CCTV punching a teenage girl and a female student, and leaving them unconscious on the ground, has been jailed for four years.

Michael attacked female student, Daniella Montieth, in 2011, without any provocation. She was taken to the hospital with a broken tooth after he hit her in the side of the head at Plaistow tube station. Then on November 13th 2012 he jogged up behind a 16-year-old girl in the High Street and punched her in the head. The teenager fell to the ground, breaking three of her teeth. (pictured above)

Ayoade was arrested shortly after the attack on the teenager

During his trial, Ayoade said the teenager had "looked at him in a rude way" and that he could not go through the rest of the day having taken "an insult from a little person like that".

Ayoade was yesterday sentenced to four years in prison for the attack on the teenager and 19 months for punching the student. The two sentences will run concurrently.

    This man DEFINITELY grew up in Nigeria and only migrated to the UK at an old age. It is only in Nigeria (Africa) you see people reading unnecessary meanings to everything I.e, how they were being looked at, handed money with the left hand, sighed and eyed when they were talking, grumbling while being talked to and many other trivial and petty issues rather than going about their daily life. Inferiority at its highest form.

    Now 4years of is life is being wasted on a petty issue of barely 60seconds or less he should have just ignored. If he isn't a Citizen, he will definitely be booted back to Nigeria after his time.

    Their first crime was that they were girls. Second crime, they were younger!!!     I think those girls deserved what they got. If u are in his situation, u would have done the same thing or close to what this guy did. It is easy for anybody to sit down in front of computers and criticize. At time I feel like just kicking the asses of some people that just stares and stares at me even if I am wearing my best attire. I have self control and that always prevent me from hitting those people. I am sure these 2 girls will never never stare at any black person again. I am not implying that what the guy did is right but the guy is justified in doing what he did. He had a cause to do what he did. The guy is not a psycho. He was forced to do what he did. The guy should have been sent for anger management. Nobody has the right to be staring and using their eyes to insult people. When i was a student, i was on a BA plane to California one day when when one white dude started staring at me. Men, it got to point I feel like just walking up to this guy and teaching him a lesson ( the kind of lesson those British girls received) but I just decided to sleep off. So, i know what this guy must have been experiencing. Some people just hate you and the only thing they can do is to start looking at you with a fixed gaze. People should not forget that this guy has facial tribal marks , and so maybe those girls were making fun of him because of that. And the guy lost it and attack them. Instead of a jail term, he should have received anger management. I am not advising people to do what he did, but I can perfectly understand why he did what he was forced to do. He didn't just walk up to those girls and attack them for no reason. The only problem with this guy is that he does not have self control.
    Also this guy may even have a kind of impulse disorder like intermittent explosive disorder. This can him have outburst like this if provoked. So, jailing him is too much a punishment.

    Earlier reports said the guy is a drug addict who grew up on his own in London without parents. He came from Nigeria. He smokes about 9 raps of weed per day.

    It is better to leave children in Nigeria than send them to London alone, where they would be kicked out and abused by guardians. They normally end up in prison like this Ayoade guy.

    Michael Ayoade had no parental care. I hope he recieves help in prison and become a Born Again Christian.

    He needs to go to a rehab and then to prison otherwise he may become worse.

    The Yoruba culture is chauvinistic at best and misogynic at the very worst. Listen to fuji music and you will understand why the people have little respect for women. A yoruba man will respect only his mother and the "iyas", those women they perceive to have supernatural powers; any other woman is just a plaything to be used, abused and ill-treated. It doesn't matter who. It could be a friend's wife or sister, an unknown married woman or young girl etc.
    This guy would most likely not have hit the victim if she was a man; even a very young man that is.
