Halima Abubakar Gets Honored as UN Ambassador

Halima Abubakar was one of the celebrities honoured with a UN ambassadorial award on Sunday January 20th. She's an Ambassador for peace. Congrats to her.

Meanwhile, I'm beginning to hear things about how these ambassadorial awards are given. But let's leave the story for another day! :-)

When she was new to Nollywood she was so cute and charming but now ehn...with her horrid make and scary extensions and desperate-for attention pictures she takes on her badly cemented porch which uploads on twitter daily....I just tire for the girl.

    It is not really hard to become one to be honest. You can simply apply for one via the website. On a serious note though, if she has actually contributed towards maintaining peace in Nigeria then well done to her but to be honest it appears pretty much everyone in Nigeria is now a UN Peace Ambassador.

    i think they are 2 awards ooooo.... 1. http://www.upf.org/united-nations/peace-day which is an NGO affiliate/partner to the UN and 2. http://www.un.org/sg/mop/ UN its self. we need to know which one it is.
