Guinness offers Super Eagles $5,000 reward for every goal scored against Zambia

Guinness, proud sponsor of the Super Eagles has offered a whopping $5,000 reward for every goal scored by the Nigerian team against Zambia later today. Remember Guinness has been supporting the team all the way to South Africa; collating goodwill messages of thousands of Nigerians on the largest Jersey in the world at a free access event currently on-going at Teslim Balogun Stadium Surulere, Lagos.  Guinness believes that this gesture will further boost the team’s resolve for victory in today’s encounter and bring to life the expectation of millions of Nigerians nationwide. https://soundcloud.com/guinnessvip/fly-with-eagles-mix

·      It is noteworthy that Guinness also recently launched a theme song that defines the true resolute spirit of every Nigerian and will hopefully help galvanize the team to be made of more. The theme song was produced by renowned producer Cohbams and features leading Nigerian artistes such as Bez, Waje, Ibo boy - Ill-bliss and pop-highlife sensation –Flavour

·         Guinness is certainly carrying the aspirations of Nigerians to the team in a major way.

·         Fans have been trooping out en-masse to show support for the Super Eagles by signing their goodwill messages on the largest Super Eagles jersey. Here is what some of the fans wrote… what are your own wishes for our dear national team especially as they take on Zambia later today?

  19. The performance of our so called Super Eagles in the ongoing AFCON 2013 is a reflection of the rot in the entire spheres of our national life. There is so much decadence in all sectors including sports, health, education, petroleum, agriculture, solid minerals etc. I just watched the Togo-Algeria match and you could see Togo team's tactics and cohesion, accuracy/on-target professional passes, individual skills/confidence and rock solid defence. Nigeria survival so far in AFCON 2013 has only been due to individual skills. The deep rooted fundamental problems in our nation stem from absolute lack of vision and national ideology. My personal assessment is that Nigeria team is bedeviled by the gross inexperience of sports handlers occasioned by deep rooted corruption and god-fatherism. We really have a very long way to go in terms of revival our sports and national pride.
