Ghead Grisha awarded a controversial penalty to Zambia in the 85th minute which enabled them draw level in the group C match.
The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF immediately sent a protest letter to the Confederation of African Football, CAF, asking the football governing body to look into the questionable call by Grisha.
A top official of CAF said today that Grisha 'has been sent home. He will have no further action at this Cup of Nations. His decisions did not tally with best practices of the refereeing profession and we would not allow anyone to start re-writing the rules of the game here'
wonderful he is a bastard.
ReplyDeleteLo_OL...we stil drew dat match na.
DeleteLolz but when will dis African refs favour Nigeria, notwithstanding our big brother roles in Africa,we're still bullied. But Keshi dat won't be an excuse if u fail to reach semis.
Delete~BONARIO~says so via NOKIA3310
Hmmm...serves him right, this should Nigeria S.Eagles fans some succour....(PsalmistOdyon)
ReplyDeletethese footballers need a hair cut.lol
ReplyDeleteIf only d goal will not b counted..So sad d deal n damage have been done in it? Some of this refs. should go for more training
ReplyDeleteEspecially african refs. Olise did say dat was a very gud advert for a bad officiating in football and that's why african refs are not used in d worldcup.
DeleteCAF shd not just send him home from AFCON 2013, that's not enough. His refereeing rights shd be withdrawn! Most likely, he might have been sorted by his pay masters cos he has achieved his purpose to deny Nigeria of that victory.
ReplyDeleteHaba..Oga...jst because a made a single mistake!!!..dat will b so mean.
DeleteThank God. Blind man. Go and be officiating when kids play football on your street. Nonsense.
ReplyDeleteYou gave him that advice cus ure doing it too is it not? Abi u go deny am for public nw
DeleteServes him right! Stupid refree
ReplyDeleteHe deserves more dan dismisal sef!!!!bloody egyptian!!!!

ReplyDeleteServes him right but what diff does it make? The goal from the penalty has been counted so............same difference.
ReplyDeleteHe should be picking balls outside the pitch, The ref is a learner, ndi ala.
ReplyDeleteMedicine after death

Deleteshitty eagles only have themselves to blame..

DeleteLolses....Dat serve him right buh to be candid, the wingless chicks who called demselves super eagles didn't impress us in dat match........so are we playing Rematch? or ar they cancelln dat Zambia Goal? Bathing After Make-up.
ReplyDeleteHe deserves it, but Super eagles need to wake up from their slumber before its too late to realise, our present play ain't good enough for our pedigree.
ReplyDeleteNice one.. You could also Visit http://davitzinc.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI nearly broke my TV screen on acct of that penalty kick n final tie up wit d eagles, I lost appetite d whole day. Dat Ref is a Big Bastard. "Gud Riddance 2 a bad Belle Ghead." bt d match shld be awarded 2 d eagles joor. So annoying dat a learner was brought in 2 officiate in such a crucial match.
ReplyDeleteI hope u don dey eat by now sa. If not abeg pass me d food. Dash me d broken TV too. If na 42" flat screen abeg bros help me arrange am. I go repair & replace d screen. Thank u in advance
DeleteDis is part of wat makes a tournament interesting..just like howard webb at d word cup
ReplyDeleteThe ref was wrong, but the Super Eagles weren't clinical in their finishing. If they had scored more goals that controversial penalty would be inconsequential. I wish them all the best in their last match
ReplyDeleteIs this dstv playback or what? The match has already been played that's why its good to make good use of ur chances
ReplyDeletethe points won't come back. Useless to us now.
ReplyDeleteWhatever; truth is we still have ourselves to blame. If the Super Eagles had played well they would have put the game beyond Zambia and an ojoro penalty wouldn't have hurt us. They should just take responsibility and improve instead of bitching an blaming the ref!
ReplyDeleteeven dough we dont qualify...dats a lesson to other reff..shikana!!
ReplyDeleteGood.....thou d damage has been done
ReplyDeleteGood radiance!!
ReplyDeleteMek dem shut dia traps up... Of wht difference dos it meks????
ReplyDeleteRubbish!!!! Did the penalty stopped Nig fЯ̩̥̊O̶̲̥̅̊M̶̲̥̅ scoring oda goals. We JƱڪτ̲̅ like looking FO̶̲̥̅̊Я̩̥̊ faults. Play Ǧ☺☺ϑ football
ReplyDeleteThey should also cancel the goal then we will know they have done something good. Bloody referee
ReplyDeleteIf we win like ivory coast r we gonna change our country name mtcheeeeew nonsense! We always look on blames!
ReplyDeleteplease Linda y is NYSC in nasarawa paying corpers 19,700 instead of 19,800. let d state coordinator tell us why because other states are paying 19,800.
ReplyDeleteAll them coaches re just against nigeria n I 1da y. Even the referee that officiated nigeria's first match was baised. He was just lucky that attention wasn't drawn to him. Serves that referee right but its still medicine after death. If only they will withdraw dat goal n award nigeria the winner of that match.
ReplyDeleteLet's face it nigerians, any time we fail.ders always someone we look 2 put d blame on especially wen it has 2 do wit d super eagles cos some ppl are tryin 2 protect deir faces from public backlash...yes d ref committed a blunder in dat decision, but if d super eagles played well and wer 3 goals up at d time, dat decision wldnt hav mattered. let's liv sentiments aside,so far d super eagles hav bin an apology 2 watch, dey play as if dey lack experience and neva trained 2geda.our first match was appalling, second even worse.dnt b shocked if against ethiopia, dey draw again. ppl shld focus on d administration, not d players cos dats wer d fault is from.d fact is,cos we dnt hav a gud FA,dats why no one fears us,d politics of d game is far ahead of us.i situation in which as big as naija, only one lines man we hav in d competition, anybody can do wat dey like wit us.#GBAM
ReplyDeleteThankGod
ReplyDeleteNot enough. He should get a life ban
ReplyDeleteFoolish ref basterrd he denied us dat victory so painful.go eagles go u ar unstoppable.
ReplyDeleteAll thieves go to hell!
ReplyDeletetheundergroundrailroadnetwork.bandcamp.com
Trash...
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why Nigeria should always be a victim of African football politics. The ref deserved to be sent home.
ReplyDeletePornography Addiction: My Own Story
Medicin after death....mcheeeeeew!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cheap mistake. He will learn from this.
ReplyDeleteWat d refree was obviously a disrespect to us Nigerians. He ought to av been expelled totally 4rm officiatng and not only 4rm CAF!!!!Am Bouncing
ReplyDeletei am of the same view with meka 10:44. the ref goofed yes..but on our own part we have a long way to go in terms of football administration in the country. the players too are playing below expectation and the coach has not impressed with his game play strategy and tactics. the big boss i would suggest should show the players videos of barcelona games and they would definitely learn one or two things by the time they watch at least 20 of such videos. the fastest way to be successful is to copy or emulate success. barcelona is definitely a successful football club. we can replicate same or at least try to
ReplyDeleteThe standard of refereeing has be below par SMH
ReplyDeletePolishing my lastma badge... So I'm the only one who didn't watch d match
ReplyDeleteQuite a pity
