Alicia Keys named new Global Creative Director for Blackberry

The multiple-award winning singer was unveiled today as the new global creative director of Blackberry in New York.
"She believes in the product and technology," BlackBerry CEO Thorsten Heins said in a statement. "We are excited she will be bringing to us her enormous capabilities, as well as a vast network of relationships in the entertainment, social media and business communities, to help shape our brand and grow our business."
Alicia, who joined the CEO on stage, said:
"As global creative director, my goal is to inspire creativity with this platform, and I'm so excited to jump right in. I want to bridge the gap between the work phone and the play phone," she noted.

    2. Rubbish talk!! Do all those companies you mentioned design or manufacture anything that needs a celebrity creative input? Wetin concern dangote with pakurumo or alingo? The best they can be is what they are already, ie globe or brand ambassadors! Oshe!!!!!

Mr/Mrs Busy tell me something, what have you used your supposedly busy time to do that's so special? You invented a phone that can download food? Or you found a cure for AIDS?
FYI, it takes only a minute from the time of getting a post notification to posting a comment, so that's been Jobless right? You are the one who needs a job, I have one already. Who are you calling a boy by the way? STFU!!

  19. Work and Personal feature of BB10 Awesome.

Sorry but our artist are not sophisticated enough to be creative director/brand image based on their myopic outlook.

That's what happens when you have self representation instead of retaining professionals to manager their careers.
