Video: Unborn twins fighting for space in the womb

Striking new MRI images show that for twins, sibling rivalry starts early even before birth. Researchers in London were trying to find out more about a rare blood disease that can complicate the pregnancies for women carrying twins, when they captured video of what appears to be two fetuses pushing each other as they try to make more room. Amazing!

  2. Far back in the days of old, in the Bible, it was said that Jacob and Esau had long been doing this also in Rebekah's womb, this is just in affirmation that God words are indeed very true.

  6. Hey Linda, love your blog to pieces.
I have two embarrassing problems,am 26 n just don't know what to do.d only way yu can help me is to publish this to see if peoples comments can help me.
    I have a chronic snoring problem,am not exactly big,used to take lots of coffee,bt stopped a long time ago.my parents snore a lot,sometimes I think it's hereditary.
I can't go out with my friends, or stay over at a guys place,he will end up not sleeping.at times,I have to wait till d guy sleeps before I sleep n I wake up as early as 3am,making my day bad in all.
Secondly, sex for me has been a terrible idea,no matter how much my boo tries, I always feel a sharp pain, like there is something he is trying to rupture.pls need advise on what to do,cos I know he just might leave me soon or sleep with someone, though he swears he isn't with me for sex.
Linda pls publish my story,my mother is late n I can't tell my stepmom, cos her children tease me to death evevryday over my snoring issues"say am trying to wake my mom from great beyond.
If there is any drug or something to buy I wouldn't mind at all.God bless yu Linda.so much love.

    2. Yeah, u need to visit an ob-gyn for a pap smear test. Trust me, you are not too young to do this.
As regards the snoring, u should see an ENT buy also drink lots of fluids during the day- stay away from too much alcohol too.

  14. Twins, likely from the same sperm are pushing each other for space (most likely nutrition and other nutrients from the mother) and they are in the same womb. How can African countries made up of radically different tribes/beliefs/peoples force themselves to coexist under one White Man-Made geographical area? Let us advise ourselves and go our separate ways. It will be in everyone's interest.

  32. i have twin boys and yes, they do get quite active in the womb..i felt bad so bad for them cos they had so little space to live in and by week 35, its pretty cramped. i just wanted them out for my sake and theirs too!!! but the funny thing is they always slept in the fetal position and snuggled close to each other when sleeping no matter what. i guess they where still used to it. its so cute.
