PDP issues statement on death of Gov Yakowa, and former NSA Azazi

See the statement below...
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed utter shock and devastating grief at the news of the death of the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Mr. Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa and other prominent Nigerians, including the former National Security Adviser, General Owoye Azazi in a helicopter crash today.
Our great Party is shocked beyond imagination and no words can adequately give expression to the depth of our grief. What a colossal loss!
"The nation has lost a great patriot who in about two years in saddle as the Governor of Kaduna State demonstrated an unyielding capacity in wielding together varying fragile interests. He rendered quality stewardship to his people. Even in the face of daunting security challenges, nothing came close to compromising his iron cast resolve and faith that the phase must certainly pass. It is unfortunate that the nation has lost him at this critical curve in our national history.”

"On behalf of the National Executive Committee and other members of the PDP, the National Chairman of our great Party, Dr. Bamanga Tukur wishes to condole with the government and the people of Kaduna State as well as the family of late Governor Yakowa on this very painful loss. Your tear is our broken heart!”

“We wish to also send our heart felt condolence to the family of General Azazi as well as to the families of other Nigerians involved in the unfortunate crash. We beseech God to give them the strength to withstand this harshest sting of the painful loss of dear ones.”

Chief Olisa Metuh
National Publicity Secretary.

    1. When I saw GEJ on RCCG camp, I knew something terrible will follow. Come on people!!!! Yes other political leaders have been in one cult or another, but damn!!! This Jonas own is a true blood sucking demon!!!! Since he came into power after his yaradua tenure ended, it has been one catastrophe or another, anytime himself or nigeria has a significant day or celebration. WTF!!!! This has gone beyond mere coincidence.
God PLEASE Take this evil man out.

Linda please find the scoop about Sullivan Chime. Unconfirmed reports have said he died in India.
What of Suntai? They will soon pull the plug.

  24. May the souls of the dearly departed rest in peace, my heart genueinly goes out to their loved ones but why do these people in power who do little/nothing to better the lives of the masses they are 'anointed' to lead always think they will be forever immune from 'the fruits of their labour'
What i'm saying is,a naval plane crashed, who was servicing it,when was it last serviced, did the plane have any previous problems? Was anyone in authority aware such important personaliries were going to use the plane? So many questions! Well as nothing in govt works, people in govt must now know that eventually all the corners they have cut to to avoid building new roads, trains & tracks, better education & housing & so much more will come & bite them in the arse ! One way or another, just saying #kanyewestshrug#
I pray those oppressors in power & alive will begin to rethink their greedy ways..but i doubt it
    RIP

  25. Life is too short that's why @ all times we should always make our ways straight and right before God and men. May their soul RIP,

    1. I don't agree about the goood govenor part if can put d christianity bias aside. Hundreds of innocent people died under his leadership.people who as a governor he was responsible for. He was unable to manage christian- moslem crisis till now kaduna still lacks security. Anything can happen to anybody body in kd if ur in d wrong side of town and no one wud b held accountable.if u stay in kd u wud understand this. Its a big failure on the part of the state leader.

  55. i'm more saddened by the death of the pilot, Commander Murtala Dabba who happens to be my friend's husband.
it is indeed a sad day as the life of a young woman and her one year old daughter turns sour all of a sudden without prior warning.
i know we care not for our leaders because they do not care for us as well, but let's take a minute to think of the innocent young man that piloted the chopper and met with sudden death he was such a cheerful, nice and hardworking young man who left his young wife and daughter at home, never to come back. May God give my friend the strength to carry on in this turbulent time, we all cannot help her and it makes it sadder.Pls remember them in your prayers everyone, this could have been any woman. sorry for the long comment though.
