Photos From "Memoirs And Wine" Event in Lagos

The look in Lagos last friday was that of a city preparing for an evening of cruz but little did they know that the cruz will cause history to be made, an history of Memoirs and Wine, a touch of class at the Federal Palace Hotel,Victoria, Island.

Earlier before the 24th of August, Solution Media and Infotech Ltd, the organizers of the ever memorable event had engaged all hands involved in repeated rehearsals that a show of such class requires. The rehearsal cued organizers, artists and technicality into such auto drive that made the guests wonder if truly it was
organised by Nigerians, for Nigerians and free in Nigeria.


 
The show started from 5pm with the red carpet that had seasoned media reporters within and outside lagos capturing the moments. Celebrities of the highest caliber in the entertainment industry were present in classy trend hosted by Nigerians best actress and comedian; Kate Henshaw and Basorge Tare Jnr. Omobaba No
1,Nigeria's most handsome comedian took the audience unaware complimenting the two artists that
brought reminisce to the event, Sodapop band from Phillipines and Flames band from Kenya respectively.
Memoirs and Wine,a touch of class was organized to cause a flashback on favorite tunes of the yester years that would bring us a reminisce of those moments. it had a well classy costumed choreography that performed on the Nivoflex glossy stage with light effects that would suggest that Nigeria can match such effect display of last Olympic opening ceremony.

 
  
The event had about two hundred lights at work that night, they vary from the moving heads to Robe 100 lights which had its representative attesting that they are proud to welcome the organisers into their family,Glec, LED Screen, Animated Backdrop, Laser light, parcan lights and also LED lights...

At the event were selected guests of five hundred who were also refreshed with assorted classy wine and chops to compliment the event. Among the guests was Segun Arinze also who was opportuned to daze and remind Nigeria that he still caresses the microphone. Bukky Wright was smashing that night, Princess Teni Aofiyebi, Emem Isong, Tade Ogidan, Joseph Benjamin, Gloria Anozie,Charles Novia, Fiona Amuzie, Mrs
Funmi Dele Giwa of Globacom among many others.

  6. Gosh this is what an event should look like.Good stage lightening. Was almost asking maself if this event was actuali held in naija. Pls all thes award organizers take note, soundcity, headies award, amaa award. Give the job to the right people to do. Mak the stage and place lively. Kudos to the organizerz of the show. Nice one.

  12. Still fresh in my memory.... like a new wine....bursting through an old skin... it was a real touch of class and elegance was redefined. my back still hurts from the moves i made that night, good music, well plotted, superbly delivered. i desire a night like this everynight

  15. My question is how many generators, or maybe how many litres of diesel was consumed to power all these lights? Who says Nigeria cannot be better? I guess many of these shows may not be able to afford this sort of lighting because it costs so much. I really pray the electricity situation of Nigeria is resolved soon because only then can we have the development we so desire!
