MI appointed UNODC Ambassador for Smuggling of Migrants

Mr. Incredible was knighted as UNODC’s Goodwill Ambassador on Smuggling of Migrants at an event that held in Abuja today Tuesday, 9 October 2012

Smuggling has been defined as the procurement of such peoples into a State for financial or material benefit. Virtually every country in the world is affected by this crime; Nigeria is no exception and M.I has been selected to speak against this vicious cycle. He serves as a role model capable of speaking powerfully against such smuggling. His journey in hip-hop within Africa stands to remind young men and women that even when the odds are stacked against you, persistence and hard-work pay off.

    2. Pls I'm not a Perfect English teacher, but I love learning. Saying someone has been appointed an ambassador FOR/ON smuggling of immigrants, doesnt it mean he is meant to promote that cause? I was meant to understand that he is supposed to fight against it by way of awareness but the title cld be misleading

  21. 1. Ignorance is not cute! Epecially in this day of google. If y'all dont know what UNODC is, simply ask google! Thats what I did and I learnt it stands for United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.

    2. Congrats to my boi M! Well deserved honour and many more will come cos no matter what the haters say, you are a positive voice in a sea of negativity.

    3. M.I. needs to hire a wardrobe consultant stat! And if he already has one he needs to fire him/her at once! And then hire one that has a good eye and a decent appreciation for style.

  26. Hmmm....I wonder how they nominate people in Nigeria for these shitty UN ambassador crap roles! In any other normal society, you'll look for someone who has shown dedication to aleiviating the plight of trafficked people and has contributed considerably to this cause and I bet there are well meaning Nigerians who are more than qualified and would throw themselves to the task at hand. But they had to go pick MI cos he raps shit about his flows and what else that doesn't mean crap to the numbers of trafficked people around the country?

I am once again afraid for the future of Nigeria!

  27. @ tolantino... who them for give, YOU? OR UR PAPA? hissss... RUBBISH. ALL U BAD BELLE PEOPLE TAKE UR Time OOO. as nigerian we should learn to appreciate good things and hard work.
    CONGRATULATIONS MI

What do you know about social work or human smuggling/ human trafficking? From your comments, you obviously know that a rapper who has no visible record of engagement on the issues to which he has been assigned UN Ambassador is the most qualified for the role!

This is the problem with our country! we allow shobiz to cloud our common senses!

As you already know the answer to your lackadaisical question you for just jejely keep your anonymous mouth shut. Foreverly remain in your anonymity! Mstchew!
