4 UNIPORT students beaten to death for in Aluu Community

Four University of Port Harcourt students named Ugonna, Iloyd, Tekana and Chiadika were this morning beaten to death by indegenes of Aluu community for allegedly stealing phones and laptops in an off campus hostel...(which was later found to be false)

Instead of calling the police and getting them arrested, people of this community beat these students who were not even armed until they stopped breathing. Then they took pictures, filmed it and spread it around. This happened today in PH. We are gradually losing our humanity in this country. The boys were all in their early 20s. I hope some people get arrested for this. More photos after the cut...*viewer discretion advised*

    1. Real Isanity; our campuses have become slaughter houses; students kill and maim others without an iota of remorse. What has become our norms and values? Children leave their homes to become animals. God, children are your heritage and a reward from You. They are surely not exibiting your traits;our humanity is eroded , inplace of compassion we have hatred, Lord, please heal our land

  6. We have sinned so much and the judgement of God is beginning to fall on this perverted generation. This suffer the sins of our whoredom, that is why the mortuary is filled with young people and no more the elderly.
I'm sure what I have written sounds like a joke and some people would just say "shut up", but deep down, some of us know the truth.
There would be no change if we don't change and start now!

So all those wicked pple have never commited a crime/sin before??? they are just using this as an avenue to kill (why don't you start with OUR LEADERS IF YOU WAT TRUE JUSTICE YOU WEAKLINGS AND CURSED PPL)
Today you have the power to kill someone else child tomorrow it will be your child. There should be a law against "jungle justice" like a life sentence or smth.

  25. This is just so wrong ! I don't no who these dudes are but for whatever reasons this shouldn't hv happened. Nigerians what the **** is wrong with our reasoning faculties ? These boys weren't armed , they didn't kill any one or hurt any one , they are pples kids sibling n relatives . What gives us the right to do this to an individual ? Do we all think we are better off cos they stole items ? How many of us haven't stolen. Sincerely , think abt it ... Dt #10 on top of d dining table or your dads room before running off to school for d primary sch students ? For those in boarden school , that pair of slippers or socks or pillow or bucket , even shirts n singlets . Even if it was a one time thing and a desperate act. Not a student of uniport but I think u students should rally up (nothing violent) and find those responsible. For the parents n siblings, yes these boys did something bad but this is murder not even man slaughter. Get a good lawyer n sue everyone involved even if it takes a year or more. Its high time we start thinking like humans. May their souls rest in peace.

  40. Linda,
You are right that the loss of humanity was a gradual loss. But I think we have lost it already at this point.
When you open the news, you are confronted with stories that were unheard of a decade or two ago.
Yes, there was "necklacing" in the 80's but those were armed robbers. I saw a young man burnt alive for stealing a GL necklace around Oshodi a few years ago and just a few weeks before that Thief Bode George was hailed as he conducted a thanksgiving service by the same types of Nigerians who were vociferously urging the mob that set the young boy ablaze.
I see our people kidnap, rape, abuse and kill defenseless children, women and elders and we "walk on by" with blinders to the pain and hurt that have become commonplace in our land. I see a level of greed in our leaders that is quasi-demonic. Where they don't care how much blood has to be spilled for them to get the next loot in their account.
I know the judiciary and our government have failed us, but most disheartening of all is how we have failed ourselves, failed our children, failed our generation and failed posterity.

I am wordless although atimes condoning petty theft always has tendencies of graduating into more horrible acts. This is why we can't over emphasis impacting the fear of God in our children and even when we think they are grown or growing, that's when we should form an even closer bond with them and pray for them. Too bad is all I can say.

You kill kids for stealing cheap phones and laptops while government officials are stealing your billions. The govt officials are paraded as kings and role models but these little boys were treated like dogs. My heart aches for these boys and their families. If they were not armed, then why were they killed?

    ReplyDelete
  75. Black people and their black hearts,i almost regretted being a black person myself. This is barbaric and inhuman, man to man is so unjust. The act of jealousy and envy displayed. They must have concluded that this Igbo boys......Nigeria will ever be a failed entity, believe it or not, time will tell and the dead will definitely get tired of sleeping.Imagine taking away someone else's life over phones and laptops,if they have killed someone imagine how they would have been treated, and people were watching as this wickedness is perpetuated on a fellow citizen, someone's son/children.Blacks are far from civilization.

  77. This is sad, also it made me to remember what happened to me before i left Nigeria in 2004. I traveled to ibadan to sort out something, unfortunately i couldn't finish what i went there for so i called one of my toasters dat based in ibadan. To cut a long story short, i slept over and as he was seeing me off very early in the morning, he said can i have a look at ur phone. As soon as i gave him the phone, he ran across d road but unfortunately for him, it was a close. When i started to shout thief, people rushed outside that happened, i narrated wat happened but i pleaded dat he should not be beaten. For the sake of what we shared over night.

  113. Oh my God. I shed tears when i saw this...Infact, in this country, nobody should be killed or punished this way if caught stealing because one way or the other we are all guilty. I hope these our so clled leaders can see how poverty and rottenness has eaten deep into dis country? I couldn't take my eyes off this cute guy. Instead of killing them, you would have helped them, they needed you to have rescued them, its not their fault at all.....

In as much as I don't subscribe to Jungle Justice, but I have faced armed robbers twice and have been shot at by robbers,if they were armed robbers really, then we have been saved the horror of their visiting us,or our extended family,if not, there's nothin that can be done now,the NPF that murdered an innocent Ugo Uzuah, cannot be expected to investigate the truth.Nigeria is becomingmore volatile, today it's thieves( or suspected thieves) that are being burnt, tomorrow it would be elected (or selected by INEC) politicians and their cohorts who have stolen our money and increased the cost of petroleum products.its a reflection of the seething anger of the populace

D issue of guilty or not guilty doesn't arise here cos jungle justice is hardly metted on d innocent. 2nd, d indegines dat carried out d "justice" r totally wrong & it's not commendable. But we shud be aware of d fact dat these indegines hav also bin tormented by cultists who must hav inflicted lastin pain in dia psyche. D action dey carried out 2day is an outpourin of dat overwhelmed anger within dem. Or is any1 goin 2tel me dat these guys r d 1st phone theives 2be caught within d community? Definetly not.
