Police spokesman, Frank Mba said that the deportees were received at the international wing of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport,Lagos aboard a chartered Airline flight at about 07:30am on September 2 by officers of the INTERPOL National Central Bureau.
Mba further stated that after thorough investigation by a combined team of officers from the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), the police, the State Security Service (SSS) and the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), 14 of the deportees were found not culpable for the alleged offences for which they were deported for.
The Police had since released the 14 non-culpable persons to their relatives, while the others were handed over to relevant agencies for further investigation and prosecution.

ReplyDeleteIts not rock science. If they were held in spanish jails, what do u expect, they should like orobos abi??
ReplyDeleteWhether they are nigerians or not is not the issue. There will be nigerians amongst them. The question is if there country was good enough for them, would they av left? If you av the chance to leave this country please just leave and be a better citizen wherever you go.
ReplyDeleteDear Linda please next time try and come up with the real/true picture of the said deportees as most of your fans and bloggers aren't morons.Even the blind knows that these are not Nigerians but a picture of Somalian Refugees.Even if they were coming from Spanish prisons, they sure wont look like these as most prisoners in the west of Europe are well fed and sure live in better and healthier environs and conditions than a large number of free Nigerians living in their father land.
