Olorungun O'Tega Emerhor is the Group Chairman of Standard Alliance. On Saturday September 22nd 2012, he and his wife Rita Emerhor celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. The couple held a big bash at Harbour Point Event centre in Lagos. The ex-bank chief gave his wife a brand new Rolls Royce Phantom (pictured above) worth over $250k as anniversary gift.

ReplyDeleteI was an insider in the financial service industry before I left Nigeria. I can tell you that most of the bank promoters/owners worked hard to make their money. However, MOST of them are operating their other businesses(Non-financial institution)on overdraft facility from their promoted financial services firm. Its like Uche invested 2 billion naira in a bank and owing the same bank 4 billion by way of overdraft/line of credit. The sad thing is Uche is never going to pay back the 4 billion overdraft/loan. Its a win win for Uche and cry cry for poor Nigerians. This man don't even pay his staff a good salary. But, he's the smartest man I know in Nigeria.
