Wigan accepts Chelsea's bid for Nigerian footballer, Victor Moses

Wigan Athletic announced on their website this evening that they have finally accepted Chelsea's bid for Nigerian midfielder, Victor Moses. Chelsea had tried four unsuccessful times to buy the 21 year old midfielder, but his club refused to sell him. The fifth attempt was successful - they're paying about £10m for him. So this means if everything goes well, Victor Moses will join Mikel Obi at Chelsea! Good stuff!

  2. which is better. To be a big fish in a small pond or to be a small fish in a big pond.
Hopefully they have a good plan for him at Chelsea and not the Lukaku plan.
Either way i wish him all the best.

  5. lol..Linda don join transfer window...Chelsea actually paid 9 for him. I hope he doesn't just end up sitting on the bench, cos the team is just too full with super stars now, and so far going well for us blues this season.

  6. A forward move for moses just like joseph akpala who join bremen. No time for backward moves again to other players. AMEN

  7. The guy has pace and strength. He's helped Wigan to stay up for the past two or three seasons. He'll be their 14th midfielder (well 13 now because Kakuta is on loan.) To get into the first team, i feel they have to sell one of the midfielders. I wonder who among Malouda, Mikel, Meireles or Benayoun will go.

  13. Good move my foot. He will be playing centre bench. And we can watch is career down the drain like kakuta, lukaku and all the other young average players. Only is his jazz is as strong as that of mikes will he get games. Asj

  15. He will not be rotten on bench bcos he is a natural RW n Ramires has been playing that position since they dont have someone of that nature which will allow Ramires to move back as a Box 2 Box midfieder and Sturridge as a second striker. The RW will be occupied by Marin or Moses which means they have enough players vying for every position on the pitch and it will definitely bring out the best in players.
They also have alot of competition to play this season (Super Cup, Fifa Club W-Cup, FA, Carling, CL)

  17. In the last match...Moses thoroughly mesmerised and tortured the Joh Terry led Chelsea defence.i Guess this helped his case and led to Chelsea moving fast for this naija broda that is so versatile and making waves. Kudos to him!
