  18. Acting doesn't pay as much as being a politician!

    ReplyDelete
  19. I commend the team for an improvement. There is 30% improvement, we just don't need mere improvement, we need sustained and constant improvement even when we reach the 24/7 steady power supply.

    ReplyDelete
  20. how many of these advisers on media does jona have ehhh na wa oh just wasting naija money for nothing

for the light it is still the same and it looks that some areas are been chose and favoured over others

    ReplyDelete
  21. to be honest it really has improved at my area karu Abuja

    ReplyDelete
  22. His twitter handle is @renoomokri. But I don't know why they employed this kind of person. He should be acting movies or be a model. He does not look like a politician.

    ReplyDelete
  23. ehen if we have un-interrupted power nko,is it not the responsibility of the government to do that, they should concentrate on making it last and not this silly feedback. Go to Ghana and learn.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Ghana is just ten million in population why won't there have steady power supply. Learn to compare rightly.

  24. Power supply have improve in my area 24hrs uninterupted power supply, Samaru Zaria Kaduna State to be precise.

    Honey...

    ReplyDelete
  25. These people should just fix the light fully & stop making noise.
In my area @ airport road in Ibadan, it is like disco light. They'll take it & bring it like 20 times in 24hrs.

& that guy, I think the picture is more of a message targeted to some set of people. It is not political @ all.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Power here in Oyo, Akinmorin is very good. Not until this week Monday that the power went off. It has never been this horrible. Total black out. You (government) still need to improve on the power.

In VGC same ol' we are all still leaving on inverters and gens..

p.s. is this poll necessary? cant the president find out from PHCN smh @ d country..

By the this does mean he has reversed the controverial statement of social media control>>

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. The president cannot find out from PHCN 'cos both are at loggerheads (basically over money issues). In fact, its alleged that PHCN is sabotaging the presidency by intentionally shutting down the grid just to frustrate the presidency...Terribly sick country, Nigeria.

      Delete
  28. *speaking for my family in 9j* the exact words of my younger sis "Over improve dey worry the light sis, I dnt even no the last time we turned on gen" I am impressed :D

    ReplyDelete
  29. Still the same worse condition for my area.....Omole Estates/Ojodu, Berger

    ReplyDelete
  30. It is just because of the nonsense 4K MW that we won't hear word? Nigerian Professors and students better invest in research time to find alternative power supplies, and I still will say that the waste we produce in Nigeria is a place to start....

Recyclable power is what we need in that Country.

    ReplyDelete
  31. for some reason VI never has light, ebi like sey the person wey swear for VI don DIE

    ReplyDelete
  32. How can power increase when states governors are busy dashing transformers to their likes instead of PHCN have the final say on that. #everythingpoliticalize.

    ReplyDelete
  33. yes oooo.power supply has improved.somolu-bariga has been having constant light for over 2 weeks now and so also is fadeyi-agip-jibowu-WAEC areas. up NEPA.lol

    ReplyDelete
  34. I live in Lagos and have had good power supply for over one year and i mean the light when taken which is rare, goes off for only 10mins and if it stays longer PHCN repairs under 24hrs, but I am from Anambra and can't say the same about my place of origin. So it will be difficult to give kudos to the federal govt who reduced Lagos power budget after BRF used the state funds to improve power.

On the other hand, Nnewi Anambra state have poor power supply and I see some guy from Benue has not had light in One year, that simply means power has not improved.

    ReplyDelete
  35. All of u guys especially people in abuja are hypocrites,in karu A.Y.A and asokoro have uninterrupted power supply,I lov u jonathan keep it up!!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Serious actor ooo. lol,pls Linda gimme his contact, i have sth important to tell him. it will help him a lot in life.loool

    ReplyDelete
  37. On this issue let's commend Mr president.
In my area, Asokoro Abuja power supply has unbelievably improved. For a very long while we've not bought gas for the generator.
To the extent my kid brother last weekend made a joke out of it that " PHCN should please take the light so we'll be sure we were still in Nigeria."
This joke was actually because we were confused if this is still the Nigeria we used to know as regards to Power issue.
Please we pray this improvement continues. More Power to GEJ's elbow.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Carying Northern states power supply and given them to Southern states. Whick kind abracadabra government be dis?
Aboki no dey even use social media, so dem no go fit complain. If light dey for Lagos and Portharcourt and the rest of the country no get light, what do you call that? Wayo government.

    ReplyDelete
  49. So far the President is working on keeping to his word, rather than concentrating on people who seek to run both him and his agenda to the ground.
Kudos to him and hope that those sabotaging his efforts and that of his government be brought to book in time. This is my humble prayer. As for power supply in my area at Lawanson,....... it has improved immensely. To a scary point I must add. We all have been scared though, that maybe PHCN was supplying power, just so that they could later take it for an even longer period.
    Great Job G.E.J!!!

  57. Feedback already ? how there hasnt been consistent electricity for most of the 50 years in Nigeria and u think cos it has improved for 1 month you need to document so you have something to gloat about??! do they think this is still the same Nigeria? i am not being a mindless antagonist, just saying we know how these things are done tell them Linda that we are wiser and more enlightened, there is something called a self'watch/assessment period' even if its just 6-8 months (2 quarters) before they dare ask for feedback from the generality, Please ! and you Linda take your time and dont dine with the devil, you will get burnt, please we love you as you are, so continue being the neutral voice, so you dont get burnt... and loose face with your people' please

  61. So this dude is Jona SA? That's gud. Young blood. I commend him for putting up this on his twitter and beside, that is what Jona shld concentrate on Power supply and security first. The issue of toll gate shld be drop aside for now pls. Well, in my area in Asokoro-(Nkwame Nkuruma Abuja, there is improvement but there is always light @ night than day time, and due to my type of business, I rely more on gen than Nepa.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Normally for a news article like this it will be a picture of electric wire or PHCN logo over the tweet. So how come Linda puts a model picture of this Rentokil guy over the story, now people are asking if he's single (no need to ask if he has money since he's SA to GEJ). This is the same arrogant asshole who was abusing people on twitter on behalf of his boss during occupy Nigeria, now 8 months later we're talking about how he looks like a actor. Shame how Nigerians are easily distracted by stupid things. Maybe the social media budget don dey reach Linda side, if that's the case then I don't blame you, woman must chop abi? As for his question, they should shut up until we have at least a year of uninterrupted power in Nigeria before doing surveys. Useless govt.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Impressively improved @ Lekki phase 1.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Govt Ministers..Advisers..in 9ja always baffle me..in Ghana they have monitoring systems..why not implement that for a pittance and analyze data from that..this is beyond stupid!!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  76. We always hv light but not as stable as it is now,I am more impressed, kudos to u jona.from oregun ibijoke.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Which light don improve? Most parts of Abuja, the seat of power are running on generators. I guess Mr. Fineboy S.A New Media is so used to his 24 hours standby plant that he thinks its PHCN.

    ReplyDelete
  78. i stay at mbukpa in calabar south lga, crs, its been lyk 5mnths without light. When we complained 2 PHCN,they told us 2 contribute money to get a new transformer..

  85. for those of us in enugu north senatorial zone (nsukka )in enugu state the people that are concerned do not care , generator all de way enugu ezike pple be happy

    ReplyDelete
  86. What is this man on about? Electricity in my area has always been better between July and December. I don't think I'm criticising unduly by asking to see 18 hrs of electricity between February and June when there's little or no rain, and it has to last longer than a 2 week stretch. In other news, what do they mean by special adviser on New Media? Who is chopping the money for old media?... and is this guy single? Because if he is, me needs to take a trip to Abuja...by road sha

    ReplyDelete
  87. Reno s never economical wt d truth, even if u press (a) he wl have cause to tell u u may need glasses cause he feels there is electricity in ur house but u just cannot see well, they dont need all these, if there's light, i trust Nigerians, they wl sponsor a whole page to thank d govt for listening, Reno works more on twitter and Facebook than office and his cyber bullying is not helping and wl never help. even Pat Utomi that got him more followers on fb and twirrer then w be wondering what has become of him after his appointment

    ReplyDelete
  88. It has not improved in Ajegunle, ikorodu road. pls jona help us, thay have abandoned the area. business is suffering.

    ReplyDelete
  89. This man will make me open twitter account cos I must protest.

We have not had light for the past 4 days and before that for 3 weeks in Igbo-efon, Lekki. Meaning, it has deteriorated.

  90. Tony Yayo said...
Goodluck and crew una funny sha...shey is dis a question abi? Nepa know they can see how much power is being consumed from their sub-station so wida d publicity stunt? Can a mother ax babay how much milk has entered a baby's mouth from the breast??? sorry am skeptical i dey vex cos still no imrovement in my zanga Olodi-apapa...We are on lantern and moskito coil steady.

  92. NA BECOS PASTOR BAKARE HAS LIT HIS ASS ON FAYA.
And that Ass is burning hot right now; So they quick arrange with awon PHCN peeps and the Generator Mafia and the Diesel Cabal, to let light exist for a month and a half, so they can say GEJ is working.

    Is all a goddAmn scam!

  108. Yup thats Reno Bemigho Omokri a.k.a BEAF on Nairaland . com. Always in the Political section leading a team of paid sycophants to spew all kinds of Propaganda to the world about how the Jonathan Govt is not corrupt and is working and has transformed Nigeria into Dubai.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Too much propaganda!supply nigerians wit uninterupted power supply, which is not a privilege but our right, and u won't need to ask stupid questions, cos we wud testify on our own...and also do somtin about d cost of these phcn pay as u go meters cos d prices are outrageous and u go tru a lot of stress b4 gettin dem

    ReplyDelete
  110. Eh I dont know if the power situation has improved Reno because I am overseas but hope it can be improved because I still have friends and loved ones back home.

  117. Seriously Linda........mtshewwwwww, yeye people. Jona dey find kudos abi,let him tacle security and poverty then we will really appreciate his govt

    ReplyDelete
  118. Lets wait until March/April before scoring the Administration on Power generation.

    ReplyDelete
  119. We should at least be Appreciative sometimes, The government are trying now in terms of power. when i was in Abuja i was having steady light, and since i came to lagos its still the same. I stay at OBUDU GRA near Ojota

    ReplyDelete
  120. In the last 2 weeks we've not seen light at Berger (Ojodu Abiodun)... Getting worse. Even the bills we see are usually outrageous and unbelieveable. Even when we dont use light we get outrageous bills

    ReplyDelete
  121. In ogudu GRA where I stay and in the Ogudu area as well light has been so regular that's you hardly hear the sound of generators. I used to spend N6,000 per week on fuel but now the N6,000 fuel has been there for a month. I heard that the price of diesel has even crashed since most people using generators are no longer buying that much.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Linda u have never posted my comment since have been commenting on your blog.Am going to stop commenting and stop reading your blog sef.Mshewwwwwwwwww

    ReplyDelete
  123. you cannot judge Nigeria power condition based on power supply within the raining season,We wait until the dry season when the only dam in Nigeria which the government isnt wise enough to create alternative for, begins to dry up,then we can answer your ???s

    ReplyDelete
  124. see handsome guy chai.

    ReplyDelete
  125. There is a visible improvement in power supply but am seeing that president Jonathan needs support from Nigerians to achieve his good plans on national development.

    ReplyDelete
  126. My God! Nigerians you people are harsh oh! I couldn't help laughing uncontrollably after reading some people's comments. In Surulere i must say I'm quite impressed there's usually power. I just hope it persists.

    ReplyDelete
  127. I am confirming the comment of the guy that said "Non-Interrupted Power Supply" in Yaba. It is soooo true. Infact over block dey worry my freezers

    ReplyDelete
  128. Some of us are just funny! someone said as he i typing, no light. Is dat the answer to the question? Rate the power supply in ur area, atleast take a period of say for 2weeks and then rate if it has improved or not. You are rating PHCN based on dat moment. Please pple wake up, we need to give a candid feedback if u can't contribute with just a simple answer, i wonder what you can contribute to your country. Not just sitting down there complaining till lizard grows teeth, mschewwww!
We have to start from somewhere to achieve what we want, do you want Jonathan to start going to every house to know the situation if he cant get a feed thru a means like this.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Why is it dat dis politician always do somethin to win d heart of people whenever election is coming near.GEJ is only fooling himself if he tinks he will gather enuf vote come 2015.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Linda mehn forget light this guy take style fine can we get his number???

anyway on the light issue, there is but the new thin now is that the charge we buy does not last any longer asin dem dey cut the charge dem dey reload for us now and i hope the minister of light looks into it....
