  4. Thank God. What great news. The first lot just went to enjoy and brought back zero medals. See what determination and focus can achieve. Well done my man. As for the house of rep guy that went to watch porn movies while attending the Olympics in his hotel room, shame on you. No wonder we waste tax payers money. I can see why they need to increase electricity tariff, new license plate , etc. citizens , stand up for your rights and get rid of these useless and rogues house of rep members and others.

  32. Congrats to a true Hero, hope the govt compensates him very well in order to encourage others to excel in sporting events. And the govt should forget about investing on losers that have complete hands and feet. More money shd be invested on paralympic athletes where we are sure of medals. Once again we salute you for making us proud.

  42. Yakubu Adesokan was a beggar who went to TB Joshua for assistance and then the man in synagogue received him and his likes of both male and females as he promised to give the hopeless once new life.

And so he has been taking care of thousands of PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED persons like that and dwarf by sponsoring them in whatever they do to make it in live. Some are in school and those that cannot go to school he establishes to a great extent. He gave Yakubu brand new care last time and I know he must be very cheerful with him for breaking this world record this time.

Linda, it seems you are not aware that TB Joshua has brought back the Nigerians migrant in Libya as they call on him to help them come back. He then took the matter by himself to act in response to their cry, which they are all back now and also he gave them millions of naira to start a new life to avoid them facing stranded because of their present conditions.

  61. Maybe we should have a disabled President who can win gold for the Nigerian issue. This president who had no shoe, now has many shoes and cannot perform, let have a feetless/legless person like Yakubu to perform. Really this physically challenged are those who have something to proof.

  74. well done Yakubu! . this goes to show that being disabled does not not mean you are not able in so many other ways.
Some Nigerians are so sick @ annonymous 7:24pm ,making allegations that our first and possibly the only Gold medalist is in his forties! So what ! u r such a pessimist who has never achieved such greatness in thier own lives...... despite the terrible state of government funds on sports in Nigeria and particularly on Paraylyimpics and disabled people in general in Nigeria. This young man still made his way to the top,not only by winning a gold medal but also breaking a world record in his chosen sport. It is time we celebrate our own......
