Heroes and Zeros premieres tomorrow


On Friday, August31, 2012, A-list actors, star musicians and important personalities will grace theSilverbird Galleria, Victoria Island, Lagos for the premiere of one of the mostanticipated movies of the year, Heroesand Zeros.


The movie premierewhich promises to be one of the biggest in the industry has seen celebritiesindicate interest in attending the first-class premiere.


Topping the list ofspecial guests expected at the premiere are the lead actors of the movie, Ghanaianactress, Nadia Buari, veteran Nigerian actor, Olu Jacobs, Tinsel star, BimboManuel, fast rising actor, Gabriel Afolayan and others.

Givingher impression as to what should be expected at the movie premier, Ms AmakaEmerole, a representative of KOGA Studios said, “We have planned the premiereof Heroes and Zeros to be a big event. Already, we have sent out many invites tocelebrities and they have indicated interest in the premiere. The premiereshould be a springboard for the movie.

There would be anAfter Party at the upscale KOGA Lounge, located in the heart of Oregun inIkeja, a place which has now turned into a hub for industry practitioners.

Heroes and Zeros isan emotive movie that features a mixture of veterans and green horns like Bimbo Manuel, NadiaBuari, Gabriel Afolayan, Olu Jacobs, Norbert Young, Tina Mba, Akin Lewis,Funsho Adeolu and Chervel Bridgette.

Possessing an unusual plot and a creative storyline that explores aback-and-forth narrative technique, Heroesand Zeros tells the story of the destructive pursuance of Tonia (NadiaBuari) by Amos Fele (Bimbo Manuel). Italso exposes the negative use of the media.

Heroes and Zerosis directed by award winning director, Niji Akanni, the brain behind brilliant Nollywood workslike Aramotu and scores of televisioncommercials. Niji has written many award-winning films for first-rate Nigerianproducers, including DANGEROUS TWINS, PLAYING GAMES, SAVING ALERO and NARROWPATH. He holds a B.A. (Dramatic Arts) from the University of Ife and an M.A.from the University of Ibadan. He is presently working on his PhD at theUniversity of Ibadan.
The movie will be in cinemas across the nation from Friday,September 7, 2012.
