GEJ asked the secretary to the government, Anyim Pius Anyim, to compile the names of these individuals and send to him. Former IG of police Tafa Balogun, former PDP chieftain Bode George, Former Bank CEOs, Cecilia Ibru and Erastus Akingbola all have national honours and have been indicted.
Hahahahahahaha I dey laugh ooooo.
ReplyDeleteDts gud, u cnt praise sum1 who hv stains in his/her record, buh hw does ds help to eradicate BH qua?
ReplyDeleteH̶̲̥̅̊OW̶̲̥̅̊ ll †̥ђã†̥ improve d current state of d country? There ® more pressing issues for d government †̥ talk abt now than withdrawing awards biko nu.
ReplyDeleteZinny
Gbam!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch is life. Above all, it may serve as a deterent to other would be offenders.
ReplyDeleteLinda 'governmant'? Na wao!
ReplyDeleteThis is good. Nigerians like title and awards a lot so this will deter people from committing crime so that they won't lose it. Hope it works though. We need 'clean' people in government/power not ex-convicts and criminals.
ReplyDeleteFor wat na only dis people dem see patience nko
ReplyDeleteProper background check should be carried out even b4 nomination. To avoid ds in d future.
ReplyDeleteIs this the most pressing problem our dear country has at the moment?
ReplyDeleteWill stripping them of the nonsense honours sort Nigeria out. I am tired of our leaders selling kerosine to the masses, buying roasted corn by the roadside, to score cheap goals while neglecting their real duties.
I don't see how this will sort the menace of boko haram or kidnappers.
God pls save Nigeria.
God you fuckheads complain abt every shit! Shd exconvicts parade themselves in our society? They don't merit the shit n it shd b withdrawn!
Deletegood one...
ReplyDeleteGood move, we dnt need criminals aving national honours
ReplyDeleteGood move, we dnt need criminals avin national honours
ReplyDeleteNICE ONE!
ReplyDeleteNaija i hail oh, coffee wey i deyy drink hia comot my nose as i read this
Seriously? I dnt get dis ur "coffee" thingy... Its kinnda DRY!!!
DeleteI hope you are not the same guy in Naija pal that keeps writing this "coffee whatever?"
DeleteThis coffee shit is lame AF.
DeleteGreat development. But it might be a good idea to wait on those who haven't been convicted yet. Innocent till proven guilty right
ReplyDeletevery nice of u presido...hahahahaha...l like it
ReplyDeleteIt is a right step in the right direction, National Honours is not meant for Corrupt government Officials and Rogue Bankers.
ReplyDeleteShobbit shares its success with free members http://bit.ly/TBrBTZ
Honouring thieves and rogues. This is one of the most sensible thing Uncle Jonas has done in a long while.
ReplyDeleteTime don reach nao...thieves getting honored!
ReplyDeleteis that his priorities stupid man
ReplyDeleteLMFAO. When they will be dashing National Honours like tom tom, instead of focusing on making it so exclusive that only those who truly truly deserve it will get it. Abeg they should go and sit down.
ReplyDeleteTomorrow now they will announce new list of awardees, including the likes of Tonto Dike. kmt*
Lmao
DeleteThis is funny buh I tottally agree
The list shld include obj, babangida and co
ReplyDeleteOnly withdrawal?! Mchew. Useless man. What's that going to do? Embarrass then until they give up what they have stolen from the country? Or until they hang themselves?! Abeg find something important that will affect the everyday man and not this rubbish.
ReplyDeleteWetin bring tonto dike inside dis matter now?make una live dat babe alone now?wetin she do una?say she bleach come be like spirit na una bizness?i love dat gurl oh make una liv us make we marry oh
ReplyDeleteSo...is there a ceremonial withdrawal as well? To avoid having so many candidates for removal to begin with, they should simply be more discriminatory about who they give awards to. Whether or not they were honoured while he was president, all it takes is for the next president to 'return their honour' in the next couple of years LOL
ReplyDeleteBetter late than late than never; it reduces the number of criminals on the honors list. Good riddance to bad rubbish.....atta boy uncle Jona
ReplyDelete@least if he can't tackle boko haram insurgence! Let him do dis o.
ReplyDeleteWhat about Patricia Etteh?
ReplyDeleteyou guys condenming the GEJ should sharap, most u can not even handle your home/relationship, buh una sabi castigate oda ppl, you ppl should encourage your leader(s) for once. Nonsense
ReplyDeleteI laugh in Spanish!
ReplyDeleteDisgraceful!
It is so damn annoying to think dat nigerians will applauded dis kind of cheap publicity stunt. Wat will stripping of d honors achieve? Will it stop the jos crisis? Will it reduce the pump price of petrol to 65 naira? Will it give us regular power supply? Will it stop the menace of boko haram? And some nigerians of shallow thinking applaud it. Where r the likes of Babangida, Alameiseigha, Odili on dat list of our first lady who is a perm sec of a ministry she has never been too....Mr President has once again shown d world wat d priorities of his office are. LLN(long live Nigeria)
ReplyDeleteMkpoho mkpoho! Hehehe! hahaha! hahaha! Achewakpa! Nadanidada! Dem don dey madt! Omo d chinko, na so d thing go! CHINKO AWARD! Lwcmtfg!
ReplyDeleteNigeria celebrates success- successful thief, succesful money launderer, succesful fraudsters, successfull 419ners, u name it- na dem dey get national honors, chiftaincy title n honorary degrees confered on dem, dis is one turnaround n 1st step in d ryt direction so our youth can undastand shame and honor
ReplyDeleteCan dis fool kindly address d fuel scarcity problem currently goin on in abuja, instead of dealin wit stypid issues dat doesn't in anyway directly affect d life of d common man! Such a raggamufin element
DeleteStripping them of the award how will it translate to good governance. See the sorry state of Ph-Enugu roads, a death trap, lack of power supply, insecurity in the country, increasing unemployment, GEJ lacks sense of direction and purpose. As we are talking right now, his cronies are looting the common wealth of nation overseas both at the state and federal level. Please make we talk better thing jare.

ReplyDeletelol, like the honour makes a difference. Though I am glad he is doing this, he should start with Obasanjo if he is serious
ReplyDeleteThis pure rubbish. Then GEj should include himself and other dubious politicans. Cecilia and Akingbola stole, yes but the fed some many mouths, they created jobs. If all our thief politicans steals and create jobs to youths,is it nt better of. Mind before u remove a spec on ones u gotta remove urs first. Charity begins from home
ReplyDeletegood for them but how about jonatan brothers(j ibori.gbenga daniel & dimeji bankole)
ReplyDeleteIsnt this medicine after death????I sorryy for naija and the sort of issues our President considers pressing.....BLala
ReplyDeleteGood Riddance to Bad Rubbish...Lets watch and see if it is all just formality.....I know the son of that Balogun man...Very useless idiot.

ReplyDeleteGood move but is it jst 3 of them? I'm sure 99% of those recipients don't deserve the award..evn the person stripping the award off them should remove the 'log' 4rm his own eyes 1st!
ReplyDeleteGood move jor, even d likes of Genevieve, mrs stph linus and d rest do not deserve such honour, what hv they done for our country, expect act and get paid for it.GEJ sometimes too mumu. This d first brilliant move he has ever made.
ReplyDeleteLaugh out loud, that's all I can do. When they'll be sharing the supposed honorary awards like chinchin they never expect they'll come back and strip the same people of it. Its a good step but I think those awards should be more exclusive. Tomorrow you will hear Jim Iyke has it smh. Kech
ReplyDeletewhat about all the thieves and senators that are stealing money in Nigeria...! kai i don tire for naija...thats why i dont live there
ReplyDeleteAre they just realising they have to strip the honours from them.
ReplyDeleteIs he better than them or is it bcos he has not been caught? His wife should be in dat list. Husband and wife ole
ReplyDeleteIts quite unfortunate dat most Nigerians are myopic in reasons. We re easily excited on irrelevant things. How many jobs had our so called govt created? Just busy embelzeling d public funds. Ab intio, Oceanic bank and Intercontinental
ReplyDeletesung feng shin kung san kin sun kan lee ::: shing shang shooonnng!!!!! New Naija chinese # means bros jona good move Oya u sef open ya bag Wetin u carry Shey ministry of withdrawal go Dey Abeg I get phd for withdrawal methodology olugbenga say so..
ReplyDeleteRUBBISH!!!!
ReplyDeleteabegi make we hear word...like this is going to help the current fuel scarcity in abj
