Comedian Seyi Law shells out N7million on two cars

The popular comedian bought a metallic silver Chrysler worth N4.5m for himself and a blue Honda Element worth N2.5m for his wife. The cars came into the country last week August 8th. Good stuff!

Yes, yes, I know it's not news. Move to the next post...:-)

  11. I find it somewhat disturbing (and annoying) when men get their wives items that are inferior to or cheaper than what they get for themselves! Your wives are supposed to be your crown jewels. People are supposed to look at her and go "wow! she's really being taken of by her man. Kudos to him". I think it's just greed. Not flattered by his purchases.

  19. Nigerian women and their 'buy for me' mentality. What's wrong with buying a cheaper car for his wife? Abi she sef no get hand to work? If you check well now, on his birthday she'll be buying him boxers and cuff links.

And yes I'm a hardworking woman who pays all her bills. I equally buy expensive gifts for my man. it's called the law of reciprocity.

  20. Linda, I have read your blog constantly over a period of time and the major thing I have to say is some of your stories are very shallow. I don't think, buying cars or property should really be the news. Firstly it is informing armed robbers to know where and whom to rob and maim. And really seems frivioulous. Further more the level of constant abuse and insults as commentary isnow so constant to be suspect. Please try to improve the quality of your news and the quality of your audience will also increase. God bless.

  27. Geezzzz don't normally comment here but i guess today is a good day. Nigerian women are so ignorant and the cause of their problems. I can't believe a lady said at least he bought for his wife not a side chic. It is okay if that is the car the wife wants , if not then there is a problem. If a husband and wife decides that the wife stays home to look after the kids, it shouldn't make the man think he is the boss and everything he buys for her is a gift. it is fifty fifty, the money belongs to both of you n yes you are working because you are bring up the children. Please don't belittle yourselves ladies. You are what you think of yourself......be wise

  29. Now I believe,Nigerians can stir up dust just to have something to say!
What's dis issue of the price?
Has any of u "voltrons" thot that she might like d particular type he bought her.
Some wives don't even get such gifts from their husbands and he can afford it!

Congratulations Seyi,u'll continue to prosper IJN,AMen

  30. Those women complaining about the price difference of the two cars should be ashamed of themselves. This goes to show how unhappy and deppressed your homes and husbands would be if you don't make a change now. A normal and God fearing woman will continue to pray for a man who brings a vehicle to their home...let alone get one for her too. All una men dey marry women from other countries just to have a happy home una dey there dey complain. Rubbish.

  36. the scandal of the Nigerian mind!!! Seems there is nothing important to talk about. can you open up discussion about nigeria making cars that anyone wants to buy? I suppose that as long as the Nigerian mind is collectively traped in 2nd grade we can't get ourselves engaging in important discussions.
