well sincerely speaking, under no circumstance.......but when a person is asking for his or life to be taken...........my dear water don pass garri be that oh. its only this person that the depth of his or her pains so if its the person's wish...well I see nothing wrong. God help us make we no reach that level......IJN Amin.
Under no circumstances. Euthanasia is a sin!u don't own ur life, the doctor did not give you life, you can't take your life and the doctor can't too. It's simply unethical.when there's life there's hope, whether under machine or not, coma or not.
I think a doctor can assist a patient to die for the best interest of the patient. If continuing to live will act as a torment to the patient or the family then, I don't see any reason why the doctor should continue treatment rather he should help the patient to end his/her life to end the whole misery.
This act is called mery killing or euthanasia, the decision is never up to the doctor.it is only the patient who can request for mercy killing!however in circumstances where the patient is incapable of making the request probably bcos he is brain dead etc it is the relative or custodian of the patient who can request for mercy killing.it is a serious issue in medical ethics.
Under NO circumstances is okay for a doctor to help his/her patient die. Because Firstly, he is not God, Second his not the owner of his/her life. No matter what no one has the right to take other people's lives including yours because his/her life is not yours despite all that Job faced in the Bible He didnt take his own life even though the Devil went to take permission from god to afflict Job God did not give devil the right to take Job's life. No matter the situation ANYBODY can face God still do miracle, in the life of Belivers and Unbeliveers He is a conpassionate God. Don't take your Life and don't help someone die. #Mytwomites#
In my opinion I tink if d patient is in a vegetative state den d dr cn help him/her die. But den again it also depends on wat d family of d patient wants. (By d way where can I get scented candles 4rm in Ikeja)? Oma baby
Is not okay though i understand the pain s/he must be passing through. If s/he is faith-based, he should just keep his/her heart busy in praising God in which is the next journey. In this, s/he find solace.
In a vegetative state and when doctors advise that severe brain damage has occurred and is irreversible, switching off the machine is the best thing to do. Euthanasia? When patients knowingly want to end their lives, doctors shouldn't accede to their requests.
Oga doctor we hav diff types of euthanesia. 1. Active euthanasia is whn u deliberately cause a patient 2 die, while passive is not takin d patients life, de allow d patient 2 die normally. 2). Voluntary, is @ d request of d patient, whil involuntary is if d patient is unconscious or unable 2 make a meaninful choice 3). Involuntary active; d doctor ends a patients suffering witout d patients permision. 4). Assisted suicide is whn a dyin person needs help 2 kill demselves nd ask 4 it. And in yankee a patient have d rite 2 tell a doctor whn 2 end his or her life. Sometimes whn a patient is a vegetative state or brain dead, d family has d rite 2 decide due 2 expenses. I take care of old people and trust me de hate 2 b a burden 2 thr family. Most of these people have actually signed a death wish and in dis country the doctor has 2 agree 2 it. In my opinion I wil say it depends on d person. And these americans are always lookin 4 who 2 sue. Mmaoluwa
If the patient wants,so be it. Some people would rather die than become vegetables. Its against the hippocratic oath to let anyone die but if they think the person is going to encounter more pain while alive, why not?
Wen the sickness or disease is spiritual and d relatives still believes is medical and it still cant be cured so u free him/her to die-omo-iwo says so..via b.b bold.5
As a doctor who swore the Hippocrates ,under NO circumstance are u to help ur patient die. Euthanasia is not approved. Medicine is not 100% so doctors are not expected to give up on a patient, whatsoever the situation. but to be frank, in some situations reality is way beyond the expectations, but wetin man go do, we as doctors, swore an Oath... shikena
Under no circumstances should a Doctor help someone die. Apart from the mistake in judgement, especially with strides in medicine and alternative therapies.
There would also be those who might abuse the system.
Assisted deaths 'euthanasia' can leave Doctors unaccountable for false cases of man slaughter.
There are crazy people out there also, who could use the system to make money.
Ofcourse some terminal cases are a financial burden, but human life being terminated in any situation is inexcusable.
its called mercy killing or utanasia. the very moment a patient is terminal and in deep suffering and anguish and all the vital organs has been compromised that is wen a doctor can be asked by the patient or relative to terminate the lifer so as to end the suffering but in some countries it is illegal. take for example wen 2 pac amaru shakur was shot he was he was on life support for 3 days the doctors asked his mum afeni shakur to make a judgement call becos he was brain dead and if he came out alive he would be in a vegetative state.
It's allowed in some countries but not in many others. When we take the hippocratic oath, we swear not to purposely take our patients' lives but the thing is some patients are in such terrible conditions and there is no way out for them except through death. If you ask me, as long as nothing else can be done, and the patient gives his approval, then Euthanasia can be done instead of letting him suffer.
Under no circumstances ,even if the patient wants it,he shud wait for it to come,he doesn't give life so he shud not wanna take it. but will only agree to that of saimese twins. Those ones joined in the head.
well, 1.wen the existence of the patience is causing or inflict pain to his/her person and the entire relative or the society 2.if the doctor is aware that despite the continuous treatment, the patience may not survive, even if he/she survive he will neva enjoy thr existence
Catherine says "Linda, euthanasia is legally and safely practiced in Switzerland. Plus it does not apply to patients who are brain dead. In that case, turning off the monitor is ethical. If a patient is in extremely serious pain or the quality of life is abysmal, thats when the issue becomes controversial. Leave doctors aside sef, I will lovingly assist my family if God forbid the need ever arises. People might call it mercy killing, I call it putting people out of their misery and trust me, the misery some people go through is unthinkable".
Paulie Ojeih, so you no fit spell see yet you can open your mouth throw way insult @ yorubas. Let me guess, you are into import and export. Silly man. FYI, turning off a life support machine does not amount to euthanasia.
for instance, ushers son that has brain death wil have no evidence of brain function,no response to pain or reflexes, harvard medical school n uk college of physicians accepted brain death as an acceptable indication of death, they can't be on life support forever, waste of resources.but b4 they die, they could donate the organs thou
The world is trying hard to give devil the power to make decisions thar only God can make! Suicide is a sin as well as "assisted" suicide! If a person is brain dead, he will die naturally because he can't feed himself, so that's acceptable! But if a person has a terminal disease and knows he will die soon but wants to speed up the process, then he is committing a sinful act! Doctors need to step away and let nature takes it's course, they are not God and they will never be God! Whatever they do out of God's natural way, is pleasing the devil.
I had an old patient that could not eat, talk or walk as a result of a stroke. She stayed all day in a bed and was being fed through a feeding tube! She was aware of her condition and many times she attempted to take the feeding tube out, but her family didn't want it out, so it was forced back on her! The patient wasn't asking for assisted suicide, but she wanted to die naturally because of her situation! She was being overpowered by her family's decision over her life. Really sad.
Sigmund freud asked his friend and personal doctor to perform euthanasia on him, his friend sought the consent of his daughter, she declined but on seeing freuds further excruciating pains as a result of his cancer of the jaw/chin she obliged. When the pain is upheaval and prolonged death becomes a more viable option in life
if its d patient's wish or immediate family members or if the patient is declared brain dead. in my opinion
