Over 100 corpses discovered in villages in Plateau State

More than 100 corpses were found in two deserted villages in Barkin Ladi local government area of Plateau State yesterday by security agents. They were victims of the mass slaughter by fulani herdsmen who invaded their villages over the weekend.

Not only were several killed, many homes were burnt down, leaving many villagers homeless and seeking refuge at neighboring villages.

Boko Haram yesterday claimed responsibility for the killings.

    1. U are an excrucrutiating idiot for u to open dat gutter of a mouth to say dis bull shit u just said! "Organize demselves and get weapons"? You are obviously a psychiatric case! Will u sponsor d weapons buy? Or u think d fulani herdsmen are using knock-outs? These are poor villagers whose main source of income is farmin and u are saying dey shuld buy weapons. If not for God,i would have wished dis upon u too so we see how u buy weapons of mass destruction to protect urself. They shuld shut up and get a life abi? After losing 100 of their people? God forgive u cos its d devil talking thru u

  5. Nigeria has descended into utter chaos with more violence related deaths recorded monthly than in Afghanistan. I think its time Christians Arm themselves and fight back. God commanded his people to go to war in the bible. I dont get this modern concept of being docile. Enough is Enough!!!

  7. Destroy their villages, crush them completely. Do not let even their animals to live says the Lord for I have given them over to you. This is from the Bible. Since when did Christians become wimps? Remember the crusades???? Its time to take up arms and defend yourselves. Choose for yourselves young able bodied men that will go to war!!! This is so annoying.

  20. Good post, Linda. I'm glad you specified that it was in Barkin Ladi, instead of saying Jos. If you had said Jos, as many people usually do, it'll have made people to have a negative perception of Jos city.
Anyway, I think that the government of this country isn't even really bothered to tackle these challenge which is, unfortunately, a shame and a slap on their faces, considering the number of lives that are lost, innocent lives for that matter. The world is coming to an end

For all those committing all this atrocity in the name of religion, remember that one day they will have to face their creator and be held accountable. Their sins shall affect their generations to come and not be forgiven. RIP to the victims.

  31. What is happening in this country this is slowly turning into Rwandan genocide. God will expose all the financiers of Boko Haram wasting innocent lives for personal gains. My God is destruct u one by one til there is no one left to carry out such evil act. And as for those been used as instruments for this atrocities may the lord hv mercy on u as u have killed and butchered so many people n families may d lord wipe out your entire generation. In this time and age pple still allow themselves to be used to commit such hideous acts. May God have mercy on u as for me if I was God I wld open up the ground so it swallows u up and send to straight to hell wre u wld rot for all eternity

  35. There is systemic genocide taking place in nigeria right under our own very nose & the incompetent government led by GEJ is doing absolutely nothing about it or clueless on how to address it. We need to call the nigerian govt out on an international platform because these killings are getting out of hand & if our incompetent govt is not capable of bringing lasting peace to the affected regions then we need an outside body like the OAU or UN to step in.
