NYSC reschedules camp activities in volatile states

The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, today announced the rescheduling of the posting of all corps members deployed to Yobe and Borno States for the 2012 Batch ‘B’ Orientation Course.

A statement by the Director General of NYSC, Brig-Gen Nnamdi Okore-Affia, directed that corps members posted to some volatile states in the North such as Bauchi, Gombe, Plateau, Kano and Kaduna, but have not yet reported to the camp, should immediately report to the NYSC Directorate Headquarters, Abuja for redeployment.

  2. This is one of the situation where 'getting there first' or 'wading it out' can bring regrets. The ones already on camp can't redeploy now. Smh.

  6. Glad to note that the NYSC D-G,as a kept citizen of the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, sits in the cozy comfort of the secured serenity of his sprawling Office complex in Abuja to condenscendingly send off the children of the citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to be killed so that he could thereafter be in the news offering their bereaved folks his condolences for and on behalf of his big bosses.
Since these troubled states in the NW are safe, He DARE HIM to move his base and be directing the affairs of the NYSC from either Maiduguri or any part of Yobe and let us see if he would survive 4 days.
