Nigerian Men Basketball Team Qualifies for 1st Olympics in London
The Nigerian men basketball team will make their first appearance in the Olympics in London this year after beating the Dominican Republic in the decisive qualifier yesterday Sunday July 8th. Go team Nigeria!!
Thanks for putting this up Linda, please please our country people, let us concentrate more on Basketball and Athletics. Those are sporting events we have actually excelled in, Hakeem Olajuwon won MVP in 1995, we've received numerous Athletic Olympic medals. Its not all about "football" that we don't even know how to play. Thank You!
Pretty happy for them, have not seen them on TV though. But it's basketball, would be watching @ d Olympics, wud b d only nigerian team providing excitement. gazalazeez.blogspot.com

Now who says the USA must get the gold medal? I completely disagree with that statement....go TEAM NIGERIA and make my dreams come true. I said it when I was 18 in 2000 that the mend team can win the Olympics.#GBAM.
