Do we have fraxel laser in Nigeria?

Kim Kardashian has revealed that the secret to her flawless, line and blemish free skin is frequent sessions of Fraxel - a cosmetic laser treatment that effectively resurfaces the skin. The laser resurfacing technique costs from £575 to £2,000 a session, depending on the size of the area to be treated.

Fraxel is billed as a 'revolutionary' fractional laser treatment that can help diminish fine lines and wrinkles and renew the skin's surface, giving a 'fresh, youthful glow'. That's why people like Jennifer Aniston never age.

More about Fraxel laser when you continue...

What is Fraxel?
The Fraxel laser treatment, offered by dermatologists, has been lauded as one of the most effective non-surgical anti-ageing therapies of recent years.
Used on the face, decollete and backs of the hands, it delivers pinpricks of laser energy into the skin, but leaves a network of undamaged skin in between, and is credited with doing everything from zapping pigmentation to boosting collagen and plumping skin.
Clinical Fraxel treatments come in three strengths, the lowest being Fraxel Re:fine, which is used for pigmentation, fine lines and skin resurfacing.
Fraxel claims to be 'proven laser technology' that can help reverse the visible effects of ageing, 'With Fraxel, change isn’t drastic or scary – it’s you, just younger,' the firm says.

They say that Fraxel is effective on:
- Fine lines and wrinkles – like crow’s feet and brow lines
- Surface scarring – erasing effects of acne and other scarring
- Pigmentation – minimizing the appearance of age spots
- Sun damage – helping heal dangerous skin damage
- Actinic Keratosis (AK) – a common pre-cancerous skin condition
The treatment is quick and painless, and requires no downtime or enforced recovery behind closed doors.

Is it in Nigeria? I'm just asking ni :-)

  21. I don't believe this so called 'revolutionary' fractional laser treatment called Fraxel. Kim K was paid millions to talk up the product. Btw, what is Fraxel made of? Hope it's not dead Chinese babies. If Fraxel truly helps to 'diminish lines and wrinkles and renew the skin's surface, giving a 'fresh, youthful glow,' how come it has not worked for Kim K's mother? Each time I see her on tv, I'm like, 'Oh, it's Halloween, already! Kim K's mum is wearing a mask - a death mask.'

I know the truth. The true secret to Kim Kardashian's so called 'flawless, line and blemish free skin' is frequent sex sessions with black men.

  28. Ok so first of all: what makes u think that ANY celebrity has flawless skin with all the make up/photoshop/lightening etc??
Second of all, the cheaper but still very effective way is to get AHA face peels (thank me later)

There are just using Kim K for propaganda jor

    ReplyDelete
  29. Linda, it's not suitable for black skin. Could either burn our skin and/or completely remove the pigmentation (vitiligo type of effect). I was told this when I went for a consultation, so I decided to embrace my uneven skin tone.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Just to add that my consultation was about four years ago so maybe things have advanced since then for black skin ...but I doubt it. Microdermabrasion is a more suitable and effective alternative.

  48. Hello Linda,

I seriously doubt that fraxel is in Nigeria. I try to stay up to date on these things and nobody seemed to have access to it there the last time i checked. If i were to check again i would try Beauty Concerns,Priscilla's Pride, Bnatural and Vivian Agbongiator in Ikota(dont remember her biz name).

Also do your homework well oh... Fraxel hurts like hell. I have had it done twice(in the US) and d first time wasnt funny at all...each one cost me $500 even though my dermatologist used numbing cream and i have a high threshold for pain. You dont want to know the many treatments i have tried in my quest for some semblance of flawless skin. However the second time she had me take a cocktail of pills 30mins before the treatments to help me deal with the pain... it was far more bearable and i even managed to sit still for 2passes.I was kinda zoned out sha but still able to have intelligent conversation.

I wasnt pretty at all for the next 3-5days... i had like a million whiteheads and my face felt like sandpaper. but after 5days for the next couple of months my skin was pretty amazing!

Just thought you would like to know.

  52. Don't mind Kim Kardashian. They paid her to make that comment. She is just endorsing the product. Kim can endorse shit as long as you show her tha money. Besides, she is lieing just to make us stop yabbing about her PLASTIC SURGERY ADDICTION. She is botoxed out of her mind. Linda, i thought you are sharp, how could you let kim kardashian's endorsement deceive you. Smh. By the way, Jennifer Aniston is majah plastic surgery addict. She wanna bremain forever youg. Don't let them fool you, laser my ass. If you think I'm lying, get the treatment without Botox and see what's up. You'll even shrink more. Smh.
