I am a lady and i do not condone men hitting women AT ALL, but it only fair you are not biased in your judgments. She did something very disgusting and was not apologetic which she have been, so if he slapped her, she deserved it. You dont peep on someone bathing and expect them not to get mad.

I am not in support of DKB slapping Zainab. He should have walked away or ignored her. But I do not agree with the way Zainab challenged and aggravated the matter. Granted, he threatened to slap her, then he started to walk away, but she came to his face and was calling him names... As far as I could see and hear in the video, she slapped him first (or tried to slap him) (he repeatedly says, "you tried to slap me" in the video), and then he slapped her back.
Men have huge egos, and from experience (mine and those around me), a man will not forgive you for bruising his ego (in this case, DKB couldn't probably forgive that he was being "insulted" on national TV. Also, a huge proportion of domestic violence is provoked by the woman. I have a friend who is in a violent relationship with her husband, but the violence did not start till she hit him in the face with a pot, while they were dating. Some men are very violent, and would abuse a woman even without provocation.
I agree with the decision to kick both of them off the show, they both set very bad examples.
Bottom line: Men please DO NOT hit, push, slap, or grab a woman forcefully, no matter what. Women please DO NOT instigate, provoke, challenge, or "dare" a man to hit you, because YOU WILL GET HIT! Men like a challenge, so if you prove you are all tough, he will take you up on the challenge!

While DKB may have been morally wrong to return the slap he got (she actually hit him first btw) there is no court that will jail him after watching that video. You do not know the kind of trauma that some men go thru at the hands of women who are supposedly the "weaker vessels." This isn't about being African or from the moon...verbal assault is just as dangerous as physical assault. I'm glad they both got kidked out cos they were both at fault.

ReplyDeleteI am not in support of DKB slapping Zainab. He should have walked away or ignored her. But I do not agree with the way Zainab challenged and aggravated the matter. Granted, he threatened to slap her, then he started to walk away, but she came to his face and was calling him names... As far as I could see and hear in the video, she slapped him first (or tried to slap him) (he repeatedly says, "you tried to slap me" in the video), and then he slapped her back.
ReplyDeleteMen have huge egos, and from experience (mine and those around me), a man will not forgive you for bruising his ego (in this case, DKB couldn't probably forgive that he was being "insulted" on national TV. Also, a huge proportion of domestic violence is provoked by the woman. I have a friend who is in a violent relationship with her husband, but the violence did not start till she hit him in the face with a pot, while they were dating. Some men are very violent, and would abuse a woman even without provocation.
I agree with the decision to kick both of them off the show, they both set very bad examples.
Bottom line: Men please DO NOT hit, push, slap, or grab a woman forcefully, no matter what. Women please DO NOT instigate, provoke, challenge, or "dare" a man to hit you, because YOU WILL GET HIT! Men like a challenge, so if you prove you are all tough, he will take you up on the challenge!

I am a woman, but for crying out loud, if a man peeps while we are in the bathroom, fire and brimstone will fall, so why should it be different when the reverse is the case. And for people saying women are the weaker sex, I totally agree but you will agree with me that Zainab didn't act like a woman.. I've always known she was a classless, desperate, seeking-attention bitch and she deserves what she got. Common, there is life after BBA na.. Itas only an action that can bring about a reaction. Not saying that DKB is right for slapping Zainab buh then again,i don't think its wrong. For goodness sakes what did she really expect? She could have continued insulting him without getting in his face and pushing up against him.
