ReplyDeleteShey una dey see so EMU STUDENTS, Na only fashion yahoo yahoo and how to drive big cars una sabi, na una mate be this oo...... don't let me mention names looolll......nice one bro!!!! he sky is ur starting point!!!
ReplyDeletecool stuff, the wind of intelligence is back upon us. I wish our leaders could take a lead from this and try to do this that are not detrimental to the populace and stop person enrichment; empower individual and years from now we would look at our children as smile knowing we gave it our best.
ReplyDeleteWe have always been told we are the leaders of tomorrow, obviously the "tomorrow" isn't here yet.
I have cousin's who could not pass exams but went out to EMU and came out tops, in 2010 my cousin (female) was tops and granted MSc scholarship in the UK.
Our educational system have been distorted, when i was in the university from my first year till i graduated i took (12 - 15) courses most of which were irrelevant and a total waste of my time. lectures will fail you cos they perceive you been better than they could ever be, they would ask for sex from female students and still fail them and many others. We need redemption in this country, we've got suppressed potentials. If i continue i might end up writing an article fit for publication...
Lets Celebrate our own, Congratulations
ReplyDeleteCongrats, makin us proud.
ReplyDeleteThere's something about people that went to airforce
ReplyDeleteWhat shall it profit me if i say anything about this, and it takes you almost 24hours to post it??

ReplyDeleteNigerians are naturally intelligent I hope and pray God will give our Leaders the wisdom to invest in the youths
ReplyDelete@MAMA Advisor June 29, 2012 11:15 AM, it is right for Linda to post as many of these stories as possible. If anything it encourages others to do the same or at least strive to do better. Nigerians need these kinds of stories if not we're stuck with "role models" that steal, rape and kill.
ReplyDeleteGood for the guy but as MAMA Advisor talk, there are Naija's representing all over the world. Graduating as the best student in some no-name school in an obscure part of the world cannot and should not be news abeg. Now if the guy comes out of an Ivy-League school with a 4.0, i will throw wey salute. Cyprus of all places. Imagine the insult to students of MAULAG reading this. Hiss
ReplyDeleteWhich school did your father build? Ode
Delete@Nonya Are you kidding me, TF do they teach in MAULAG? Can an engineering student in MAULAG stand with an engineering student in Cyprus? I short that's an insult to Cyprus students
Delete@ mama advisor , seriously! Is dat ur major issue rite now?? Nyways congrats to dis dude for making naija proud.. Nice one!
ReplyDeletenow it is stories like this that gives me goose pimples..
ReplyDeletemore power to your elbow !
congratz to this boy.....
ReplyDeletebut wait oh....in Nigeria, a CGPA of 4.00 is a second class upper.....why are they doing this to us now?
Lol,meanwhile,in u.i that is a second class lower.
DeleteEya Nigerians have brains sha. You go boy!
ReplyDeleteA job well done and we haven't started yet. This is only the beginning!!! Greater things will be heard about Nigerians in Nigeria and even those in diaspora. We rock :)
ReplyDeleteThere is no doubt that the most intelligent in the world comes from Nigeria... We are vast in all areas,. The only problem is implementing our intellectual abilities... Or shld I say practicing what we have learnt!!
ReplyDeleteI hope the generation next will change things... !! Congrats to him.
He's intelligence will be put to use by the cyprus govt .
WONU:OMG! Obınna U are a joker LMAO dat was too harsh all fıngers are nt equal nw. Lol
ReplyDelete@MAMA advisor...Count your blessings and if you don't have any, Use this young man as a contact in your prayers and for ur children(if any).Every good mother should be proud of this young man...God bless him...Up naija

Welldone guy.
Yes oo, dts wts up..EMU peeps we sabi rep our country...am proud of colleague o
ReplyDeleteCongrat on a job well done
ReplyDeleteWell done o. I wish Nigerian universities let their students learn anything. I graduated from psychology dept in a great uni in niga and when I go though advanced textbooks I wonder what I even learnt.handout after handout,no sensible explanation and strange exam questions.after exam when asked how it was,I just frown because I think smiling makes me fail.when I see C.S.I am always impressed.well looking forward to travel out and brush up sha
ReplyDeleteLol strange exam questions. I'm curious to see an example.
DeleteCongrats!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Bruh!!... Your future is Bright!.. you have made us Proud indeed! Allah Bless you!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Bruh!!!... Your Future is bright!!...
ReplyDeleteOmo iwo abi wetin em call himsef no go tlk for dis 1 oooooo...na only to cari bb up n dwn dey claim wetin em no be.....
ReplyDeleteWho gives a damn where he graduated from? still better than all the so called once upon a time great names in Nigeria i.e, UNN, UI,Ahmadu Bello..to mention a few who all lost track and aren't recognized in the world today! Look up the Universities in Syrus and see its world recognition before you use your finger to type nonsense!!. Some people are just so daft and think they're better than others, instead of you to "congratulate", you're spitting negativity and wish to be recognized as this young man? Well keep dreaming. Kudos young man,a big congrats to you and the sky is your stepping stone!
ReplyDeleteAnd what's wrong with LIB celebrating every single good news like this she comes accross? My friend its her blog and she's a proud Nigerian, deal with it or go suck on a lime! smdh... I didt attend the same school, but am happy they produced a great (my wish for Tunji) engineer in him!
@Anonymous 2:08 PM
ReplyDeleteIf you were smart enough, you'll understand that grading system differs and when calculated it'll still be a first class in Nigerian educational system! Dundy United!
Congrats bro. Abeg find a way to also start your own company after 5/6yrs.
ReplyDeleteCompanies will be rushing you left and right.
But then, start your own consultancy Maximum 10years. And build our international company. Keep up the goodwork. Impressed.
I'm proud of him. No doubt, Nigerians are book smart but it's time to start innovating things. Let all these beautiful talent come together and build an empire.
ReplyDeleteI like how Asians, do it. China is the next big thing.
@ anon 2.08pm, its 2nd class upper in UI and Nigerian universities because they operate on a scale of 5.0. In american and cyprus universities its on a scale of 4.0. Hence his 4.0 in cyprus is equivalent to a 5.0 in Nigeria.
ReplyDeleteCongrats!! Wish I was as smart as these ppl. But like someone pointed out, all fingers are not equal. :(
ReplyDeleteDear BaBa God, thank you for this change of tide for good; there is yet hope for Nigeria. As we celebrate these young people, purify their hearts to be the change 9ja needs. Direct their footsteps to reform and build our country and let their perfomance be challege to our youth to strive for excellence instead of trying to cut corners. And all the Yam heads that are busy diverting our money for personal gains, ( shango, where are u) make them god of thunder fry them. Congratulations, young man! Linda, you do well.... In d mist of all d palava plaguing 9ja, let us have something to smile about. Dalu oo
ReplyDeleteThis same boy graduated with straight As in WAEC from St. Thomas. So if he had graduated from any of the Nigerian universities, he would have come up tops.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Tunji 4 doin naija, ur parents, ur state and d great city of kano proud( as per kano bred like moi). My kids wud also make me proud IJN, AMEN.
ReplyDeleteYaaayy!!! Go Tunji, so happy for u n for making us ur family n naija proud. Mummy, Daddy n we all wish u many more success in ur future endeavors, we Love u, "meals n more" wish u all d best
