Igbinedion buys wife N83m Rolls Royce Phantom as birthday gift

His wife of many years turned 60 early this month and the Esama of Benin, Chief Gabriel Igbinedion, bought her a customized 2012 Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead worth 330 thousand pounds. The car was released into the market just a few weeks before Lady Cherry got one as a birthday gift. Happy birthday in arrears to her...

Pray that you have wealth that you are comfortable with so you can use it to solve all the problems in nigeria! Awon hypocrites. From your little how many ppl have you helped???

U all should go and read about Esama properly, u will know he his one of the most generous businessmen in Nigeria, the man opened mid motors in 1962 , as one d first private motor assembly company in Africa with 3 million pounds, go and ask ur father about this man. He has made billions before his soon became a governor. He has soup kitchen in edo state since 1985 , where his was feeding his people, for lbreakfast, lunch and dinner, to be on top for over 50 years, and still able to be relevant, my people it can only be blessing of God.... Ask ur parents how difficult it is to maintain been up top. U children are to young to appreciate the ESama of Benin... Ur parent will

  79. Waoh! N83m? I salute this nice gesture towards your wife, what a distinct way to handle responsibility. Tell me now why Mr Igbenedion wont so much command respect from his wife.

    Some married men dont just get it that, 'if you cant handle responsibility, you cant be respected'- Bishop Noel Jones.

  80. Going by the comments on dis post it just goes far to show our priorities as individuals and even as a nation, you come here blowing trumpet and celebrating mediocrity,corruption and flamboyant unnecessary display of stolen wealth.. Have we bothered to ask how many lives this so called gesture would have improved,how many school and community health center that money would have built. NO we won't as selfish,self centered,double standard and mediocre nigerians who instead to asses the performance and motive of their leaders will rather climb on the bandwagons...SIMBA

  84. Cant Stand Poverty Minded People2 June 2012 at 15:30

    To All Haters

    You need to shut the fuck up. Whats your business with how igbinedion spends his money. He can choose not to give a dime to charity its right.
    you only call it vanity because you dont have that much. When you guys make that much money you would spend much more.

    @Anon 11.14 PM
    What makes it nonsense? could it be because you dont have that much therefore you are envious?

    @temi doyin
    waste of resources? whose resources? yours or his? what makes it a waste? Because you dont fancy such things does not mean other people should not.

    As long as its legal everyone is entitled to spend their money as they wish.

  110. Those of you guys criticizing Esama's Rolls Royce for his wife are funny people. What is your business with what some one did with his money,go and work for yours. I respect Esama a lot. He got to that level in life through business, not politics.

    This is because he was smart. As you all know it is not easy to be smart, good or bad. So you should respect him.

    A man who controlled fleet of Boeing 767 aircraft for years, what is a Rolls Royce car form. Though, it is normal to be jealous.
