P-Square buy piece of land in Banana Island?

I put a question mark there because it has not been confirmed...yet! But sources close to the music duo say it is true. And why is this news you may ask? Well Banana Island is the most expensive and most exclusive area in Lagos State...its a billionaire's enclave and if they truly have a land there, they will be the first Nigerian entertainers to do so. The exact location of the land and what they plan to do with it, sell or build another mansion, is what they are not telling. If they eventually confirm it, you heard it here first! :-)

Meanwhile, the twins will be performing in Yaounde and Douala on 18th and 20th of May respectively.

  2. Hmmm! I find it rather fascinating how there is an area in Nigeria let alone Lagos state fit for 'billionaires' yet the majority of Lagosians are dying of immense poverty. Mere water is a luxury for some of my people. Food is scarce and education is still a dream away. The gap between rich and poor is just to wide for me to celebrate this news. My heart aches for my people. Those who live in sincerity and integrity yet justice seems to elude them. Nigeria, I hail thee not.

  20. My dear, it is difficult to see an Igbo celebrity that made "MONEY" and mismanaged it. Don't bother yourself cos they will never beg you for money. Has Okocha or Kanu begged you for money. You should be advising Davido.

  33. I am happy for them because they are doing well in what they know how to do .The only thing i want to say is that they are expensive because i heard they charge $100,000 k if you want their performance especially outside Nigeria,so why wont they buy a land in banana island? We are planning of bringing them to Sydney Australia but considering the amount of money they are calling because we will pay for their visa, flight, accommodation and other stuff, anyways until we are ready to bring them or whoever.

  34. Thanks for that comment. We Igbos are very wise when it comes to money matters. All these confused people saying that in years they'll be broke, did Linda say they bought car, or bling or something? I'm sure you saw land. What better investment could there possibly be? And menakaya's baby etc pls they worked hard for the money, none of you have the right to tell them or even suggest to them how to spend it. where were all of u when they were suffering years backs? Now u want them to carry the burden of Lagos state on their heads!? God pass una. Btw how do u know they haven't helped their society, is it cos you haven't read about it? Abeg free them jor. I'm not a fan but some of your self-righteous comments really piss me off.
    Valerie.

  37. Lol at Igbo celebs not mismanaging money. It has nothing to do with ethnicity, its more of an individual thing so please come off your high horse.
Yekini played i̶̲̥̅̊n̶̲̥̅̊ europe and made lil change for two to three years. Hardly comparable to jay-jay and kanu who played for premiership sides and earned huge wages. Even now, to illustrate as wages and earnings can change i̶̲̥̅̊n̶̲̥̅̊ football, jay-jay and kanu's earnings i̶̲̥̅̊n̶̲̥̅̊ the past is inferior to mikel's and obafemi's.
Congratulations to psquare. Not ǻ̀́ fan but they are ǻ̀́ success story. Would rather hear this than some random woman spending our 1 billion of our money on trips and rolex watches.
