Hmmm! I find it rather fascinating how there is an area in Nigeria let alone Lagos state fit for 'billionaires' yet the majority of Lagosians are dying of immense poverty. Mere water is a luxury for some of my people. Food is scarce and education is still a dream away. The gap between rich and poor is just to wide for me to celebrate this news. My heart aches for my people. Those who live in sincerity and integrity yet justice seems to elude them. Nigeria, I hail thee not.
ReplyDelete~ Menakaya's Baby.

ReplyDeleteMy dear, it is difficult to see an Igbo celebrity that made "MONEY" and mismanaged it. Don't bother yourself cos they will never beg you for money. Has Okocha or Kanu begged you for money. You should be advising Davido.

Ur advice shd b goin to ppl like Davido n Olu Maintain. Stop hating on the Okoyes, they r blessed n wont beg u and/or ur folks. Dont bother abt thr folks for villa, either ; we r NOT complaining! Kachifo!

ReplyDeletei beg..what real estate agent will sell property on banana island to this english langauge challenged touts? watevs
ReplyDeletewell while moving into squarevilla loud-mouth Peter claimed they would be moving to another bigger and better house every 2 or 3 years so it might be the next location
ReplyDeletemoney is good o
I am happy for them because they are doing well in what they know how to do .The only thing i want to say is that they are expensive because i heard they charge $100,000 k if you want their performance especially outside Nigeria,so why wont they buy a land in banana island? We are planning of bringing them to Sydney Australia but considering the amount of money they are calling because we will pay for their visa, flight, accommodation and other stuff, anyways until we are ready to bring them or whoever.
ReplyDeleteThanks for that comment. We Igbos are very wise when it comes to money matters. All these confused people saying that in years they'll be broke, did Linda say they bought car, or bling or something? I'm sure you saw land. What better investment could there possibly be? And menakaya's baby etc pls they worked hard for the money, none of you have the right to tell them or even suggest to them how to spend it. where were all of u when they were suffering years backs? Now u want them to carry the burden of Lagos state on their heads!? God pass una. Btw how do u know they haven't helped their society, is it cos you haven't read about it? Abeg free them jor. I'm not a fan but some of your self-righteous comments really piss me off.
ReplyDeleteValerie.
Igbo syndrome! Ever defensive.U don vex?Sori.
DeleteConfirmed, they bought a land in Ikoyi from the Onikoyi Family!
ReplyDeleteHehehe@ Anon, 7:00pm: u no go kill me ooo... Wizkid dem... Watch it!u re right sha, in a way....hehehehe. Congrats pit n pol
ReplyDeleteLol at Igbo celebs not mismanaging money. It has nothing to do with ethnicity, its more of an individual thing so please come off your high horse.
ReplyDeleteYekini played i̶̲̥̅̊n̶̲̥̅̊ europe and made lil change for two to three years. Hardly comparable to jay-jay and kanu who played for premiership sides and earned huge wages. Even now, to illustrate as wages and earnings can change i̶̲̥̅̊n̶̲̥̅̊ football, jay-jay and kanu's earnings i̶̲̥̅̊n̶̲̥̅̊ the past is inferior to mikel's and obafemi's.
Congratulations to psquare. Not ǻ̀́ fan but they are ǻ̀́ success story. Would rather hear this than some random woman spending our 1 billion of our money on trips and rolex watches.
Oº°˚˚°ºK kanu and Jayjay's in the past is inferior to Mikel and Obafem's and Obafemi is busy buying a 50m worth of car, Oº°˚˚°ºK O°˚˚˚ no wahala.
Delete@yetinde. How they decide to spend their money is none of ur biznex! Humanitarianism is a call! No be by force!!! Moreover, people express this call in different forms.
ReplyDeleteNawa for some of ona shaaaa. They work hard for their money and should do wotsoever them damn well please wv it, okay. Buying land in Banana, my dear psquare haters, na solid investment and doesnt mean they will be broke in future. Make ona go sing ona own na and see if singing (correct hits) na beans lol. Congrats my dear Psquare! Ona too much joor!
ReplyDeleteNot is so specially about banana island,i was there when i was in nigerian, the place is full of water.it looks like every nice place on the island.
ReplyDelete@ the guy next door, thank you o jere. Help me yarn them... humanitarian nor be by force abeg. BTW them tell you say them no dey give orphanages anonymously?? Leave them for us o, i tek God beg ona.
