  5. Biko nu!! What is miss Abuja wearing?? Looking like a member of white garment church or one Ikoyi club cook. I must say however, that the girls look rather pretty this time around. I think the fault was with the camera man.

First of apologies to the girls.Una no vex o!Abeg.I made a mistake and judged based on the pictures presented in Linda's first post.I guess the photographer did a lousy job. Also you girls were probably tired during the photo shoot, make up then was wack, hair bad etc etc...
But I am suitably humbled and amazed! The transformation is tremendous!wooohoooooo. You girls are looking hot!
I am totally amazed with certain transformations:Check out Miss Benue,Crossriver,Adamawa,Yobe,Niger and Bayelsa.Even Lag!!wooooohoooooo.I had to put the 2 posts side by side and compare and contrast.I bin think say Lindooo don do wayo with the girls but I was wrong.Blimey;it's the same girls!!!Miss Benue ahhhhhh,u fine ooo chai!
Not sure about miss delta.I did not like miss Abuja's outfit, she seems to have lost some shine.Thought she was the finest in the first post, dunno. And why miss Kebbi, but why?who dressed you?and the pose????
Miss Imo and miss Taraba went down in my rankings too between former post and this post.Hmmmmm?I still think Miss Oyo is not pretty:(
Miss Edo looks cute and innocent:))so does miss Rivers!Miss Plateau looks fierce:))
I just spent a good 34 minutes on the previous post and this post.Truly I found the transformation out of this world!

Go girls.May the best queen win!

    ReplyDelete
  16. Using airbrush to make them appear pretty wont change how the look naturally. Silverbird, you know you can skip a year and claim 'you are repositioning to make the pageant better'???? Why send mgbekes to miss world and lose.

    ReplyDelete
  17. So it was the photographer afterall. And the makeup artist too sef. Very pretty girls. Even Miss Lagos looks totally different. Best of luck to all of them.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  33. dats beta. pictures well photoshopd now......

    ReplyDelete
  34. These pictures are much better. Miss Plateau is my pick.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Dey r indeed beautiful but I still can't understand why some Ibo girls r in to represent some Yoruba states. Well, d winner would win. Go girls, thumb up

    ReplyDelete
  36. Tiffany's smile looks forced. She needs to let go and just smile.

    I found a non-Igbo contestant and she's not bad looking;
    Kwara
    Name: Tomilayo Salami

    ReplyDelete
  42. 2-way contest: Miss Abia and Miss Akwa-Ibom. prettiest girls "ever"? love their looks, not necessarily the wears.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Miss Abia is my best

  44. Alicia says....2 May 2012 at 14:29

IMO State went down. She looks average here, but wayyy better in the initial post. And this us more like it. Nigerian girls look so gorgeous in the traditional attire. And for those talking crap about Abuja. Well she is wearing a dress inspired by the Nigerian flag because that's what Abuja is. NO MAN'S LAND. Abuja is for all Nigerians.
My picks on who the top 5 will be. Rivers, Abuja, Plateau, Kaduna Taraba, and Niger.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Nice improvement from the 1st pictures we saw but I think the organizers need to employ the services of another photographer! The poses of some of the girls are ridiculous; why use the same background with the two logs of wood? Its a traditional look & brazillian hair is all over the place except for the ones that tied scarf. They should have braided their hair. Next time, they sholud take cues from Tyra & her crew on her next American model show on how to create a look & make it blend with the environment
Miss Yobe & Miss Edo: looks good
Miss Delta: She definitely got her looks from her father's side because she looks no way like her mom & if she wins then its mago mago
    Miss Ebonyi: looks very ridiculous!
Miss Ekiti & Borno both look like statues with frozen smiles
Miss cross river has thick thighs & am wondering how it will look in a bikini shot.
Biko what happened to the Agbani Darego & Oluchi look alike? don't they come for auditions? I doubt if we will have another Miss World winner :(

    1. Trust me miss river not trying to be bias because I know her personally) is like agbani and oluchi.. Tall and graceful She is model material. Its not all about yellow sisi. Oyibo mentality of african beauty is different from naija mentality. To other people Alek wek might not be beautiful but she was on the top 100 beatiful people in the world. So I hope she wins

  47. Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that most of this girls are actually not indigenous to the states they are supposed to be representing.

    ReplyDelete
  48. ds year's mgbn is some how

    ReplyDelete
  49. This is so not it, how can they be flying weavons with natives? comon on that is not traditional!! and as 4 cross river and Akwaibom queens, they are so not it. note of warning.... that's not our traditional attire so dont adulterate it. *Angry Face* Get Ya Act Straight!!!

    ReplyDelete
  50. None of dem is looking bad but I think Miss Ondo has dis fear fear look but she's not bad, she luks real good but she can smile better. Hmmm, I wonda y Miss Abuja shd be dressed dt way...who did she offend... I don't like Miss Benue's outfit. All looking good though

    ReplyDelete

miss Rivers still remains outstanding n d pretiest amongst dem all but to be frank Munachi is still more beautiful.
But since d last MBGN am not realy into dis MBGN anymore cos it was like dey crowned outa pity or sentiments cos dere were more preety n more brilliant gals dere it was just hurrible n i regreted ever watching,n now its getting worse cos gals from d east representin d west, pls each girl should represent her state dat makes it more real n interesting to watch, dats d plane truth.

  77. But y is she d one representing delta? Even if u say these girls ain't so pretty, y is Delta state being punished? See miss rivers, miss yola, miss bauchi, miss Edo........young pretty girls, delta state deserves such naw.......
Miss Rivers nailed it for me, noticed dat girl from d first set of pics, miss benue and miss lag, to think that I actually mocked you girls when I saw d first photoshots......am sorry, put the blame on d photographer.

  78. MISS RIVERS

    ReplyDelete
  79. Are they mostly igbo girls?

    ReplyDelete
  80. Wow Miss Rivers is the only one who did awesome in all three shots, she is definitely my favorite. Good to know the girls look better now, but Imo, Gombe and Abuja do not stand out any more. Good luck beauties

    ReplyDelete
  81. This girls can win in Naija with all the airbrushing, remember when they stand before judges there wont be any airbrushing o! Also get them competing with world beauties, they will not even win a plastic spoon

    ReplyDelete
  94. No pun intended but I think this year's contestants can only make it in naija cos of cheating but they can't go any further in world contests cos they don not posses the kinda beauty that will take one up to first 20 in miss world.

    ReplyDelete
  95. This is MBGN and not Nigeria's Next Top Model!

    ReplyDelete
  96. pls someone should strip miss Cross River of her attire, thats not the right traditional wear for a cross riverian.. mu..mu.
