Beauty of the day: Tracy Acholonu

The top Nigerian American model popularly known as Fancy Tracy, has modeled for Coca cola, Versace, Tory burch etc and walked in LA, NY, Lagos, Berlin, and Germany fashion weeks. I hear she's planning to return to Nigeria to join Nollywood as an actress.

  13. NYC-1 says: I am not a fan of the fashion world, so I don't know this model. However, if one is to go by what Linda said; then, there are more to it than meets the eye. Its highly probable that other models from advance countries are making fun of her bcos she is from a Third-World country, thus resulting in unhappiness and lost of self-esteem. What else could make one living an affluent life to stoop so low to join Nollywood? Some Nollywood actors and actresses will not give it a second-thought to leave Nigeria if American or European visas are issued to them. I don't care how much they make, they face the same predicament any average Nigerian experience: No electricity; No plyable roads; No good medical care; No security of life ...Please don't let me go on.

Anyone who wants to challenge what I say should first ask the elected officials to remain in Nigeria for medical check-ups (one could be charged for ...) This is how bad it has come to be.

  14. Shes probably making more money doing what shes doing now. And with the sad direction Nollywood is headed to, she better stay put. As per how she looks, she's alright. And its very irritating when someone says someone is very pretty and then proceeds to ask if the person is mixed. IGNORANCE!! SMH.

  15. WTF! Why would any high fashion model want to go from class to trash!? Please o stay in hollywood, leave nollywood for the tramps.

  37. Obviously Adoarah Bankys and.Dbanjs success went over ur heads..if u good you can make it in naijja..she would sweep them off their feet..agree with poster we need more AWAY babes to shake up naijj..write better scripts..more polished acting.this are the type of people we need to propel naijj 4ward....she's clever only top top models get contracts past 27yrs old...

  38. On the surface, nollywood may not seem a wise move given what is on ground but who knows, she could be a game changer. Charles Njoku of Iroking came from London and put nollywood/nigerian music on youtube and internet. He recently attracted an investment of $8m from america for his business... my advice is for her to try it first, if it works, it works but if not, at least she'll have the satisfaction of knowing that she tried. Better to try and fail than never to try at all... Better to toast a babe and get nailed than not to try at all and be dying in silence...

    ReplyDelete
  39. Abi o @Femillionaire..this naijja bashing tire me I can take the leaders but not ur fatherland..the thing is she can always go back to yank..people making it sound like its a life sentence!!

    ReplyDelete
  40. This babe is hot! See her arise fashion week video diary
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YdwBswsM1pM

I think she has a chance in nollywood

    ReplyDelete
  41. Why would she want to do that... What a waste of her precious time...

    ReplyDelete
  42. So all u ppl r going 2 pretend like u didn't notice how dark her face is in d 2nd pic compared 2 her body. D photoshopper dat lightened her skin 4got 2 complete it for her face. And wat part of dis girl looks mixed race biko kwa? So in 2012 we can't still diff btwn races? Buhahahah...just her nose and lips alone will tell u wassup plus she is darkskinned. A lot of ppl need exposure, its vital. Save up ur hard earned money and travel a lil. It helps.

  46. Errr...nollywood? Seriously?? Why would she want to regress? She needs deliverance in mfm.

    ReplyDelete
  47. please.... i'm not hating, but i take offense to people calling randomites top models or supermodels. she is not googlable, so it shows you how built uo the hype is. she is not famous anywhere, other than the minds of nigerians. abegi. she is def very cute, but please, attach the title 'top model' or supermodel to the right people. linda, you of all people should know better, seeing as you were apparently a model. dont just dash everyone importance abeg. again i say, shes so hot.
