  11. Nigeria needs a man like JJ Rawlings. Somebody who will wipe out the majority of our present political class. From Obj, to Goodluck, IBB, to Atiku, Anenih, Gbenga Daniel, Alao Akala, Lucky Igbiniedon, Aliyu, Idris, Shetima, Ciroma, Alamasiagba, Mimiko, Oyinlola, Bode George, Ibori, on and on the list goes..............

  15. I don't mind Mr Rawlings for President in Nigeria since our so called leaders are bunch of fools.
    One of Africa's finest.
Rest in peace, he had a well deserved burial. His wife's tribute is beautiful.

  16. As a ghanaian it always surprised me how outsiders always admire JJ Rawlings - you guys dont have a clue the bad he has done and the many he killed. Dont talk bad about rawlings esp to a Liberian. On Several occasion i have had Liberians wanted to fight me cos i said something about Rawlings they did not like - you would think I am the foreigner and they were the Ghanaian. Any Ghanaian who grew up in the 70s, 80s knows the stuff he has done - its always the youth who dont have a clue who like to defend him. I saw with my own grogro eyes. He is definately smart for changing the Ghanaian constitution b4 he left office, to favor him so that he will never be treid at DeHague (Netherlands). He was very smart.

  17. ANON 5:43 GOD BLESS YOU!
I was thinking the exact same thing when I was reading through the comments. If you dont know the history of Ghana, Rawlings will appear amazing to you. Almost every African country has had an inhumane president and Rawlings was Ghana's/ The amount of blood he has on his hands is no joke.

  18. I tink we shud always make α̲̅ little research bfor commenting, looking at α̲̅ hairy hen doesn't make the hen weigh well.though am α̲̅ recent born but i ve read a lot articles abt rawlings and i tell Ɣȍu that 80% of wat i read r all pointing at the same direction, although there can be facts extortion in history bt there's still piece of thruth in all.RIP

  19. @Annon March 2 10:42pm..........exactly what i had on my mind,,,,,Jerry Rawlings of Ghana is someone i so much respect and just one leader like him in Nigeria will settle so many things.....

@Annon March 3 5:43pm and Annon March 4 10:22pm......no one is saying Jerry Rawlings is perfect,,,and of course we all know he has blood on his hands but if he dindt do all he did then,,,,Ghana wont be what it is today......have u forgotten those years when Ghanaians were shoe cobblers in Nigeria just to make ends meet??? the truth is until bad leaders are wiped out completely,,,,the desired change may not take place cos political seats keep revolving round them and they dont like to give people with genuine intentions a chance.......Kudos to Rawlings of Ghana joor!!!

  20. My comment is not to say Jerry Rawling is perfect. Every president has one negative or the other about them. It's inevitable. But, he's better than some of our so called Nigerian leaders. We have some of the most wicked leaders in Nigeria. They are clueless, they are too greedy and selfish.

Of course, many people will not agree with his philosophy and hate Rawlings but he did something for Ghana. So, if some of our leaders are like Rawlings, it will go a long way. I still respect him.
