Bianca Ojukwu Set to Become Nigeria's Ambassador to Ghana

The current High Commissioner to Ghana is Sen. Musiliu Obanikoro, who has been there for over three years now. His tenure is about to end and I hear Bianca will most likely replace him.

  9. i used to think to become an ambassador like the days of my mother, one had to be well educated, required to speak at least another language like french or spanish and generally a well rounded individual..now nigeria government can elect pepper seller to represent them in foreign land hence we have ambassadors who beat their wives, others who buy cars for underage girls...gosh i hate this country i need to relocate for my sanity..everyday im slapped in the face with mediocrity...Osalobua lahoor ooo,Oritshe

Hissssssssss make i go marry one old papa maybe i'll become an ambassador one day..... This is just a shame she should stay and mourn her late husband than using his death to gain favor....

    1. @Iwo na wa for you. Read your post and access yourself. Insulting your President unnecessarily. Wetin be your own. As much as one would question the appointment of Bianca to this office, will she really be incapable? But for her being in mourning there ought not be any debates on this. Every embassy is staffed with professional or career minded individuals who would do the main job. Bianca is just not another beautiful face but educated. If she were not quick on the uptake the late Ikemba would not have married her. I advice @Iwo the least you can do for yourself and humanity is to learn how to write with respect especially when making reference to your President. You may still be saved.

    2. @ I am, the no sender, Iwo is very correct. U and I know that in as much as Bianca is well educated, she has never used her credentials to work. Her work has been - Ojukwu's wife. It is very wrong to have a head who knows nothing as office administration and total disaster to depend on your subordinates and others to come up with clues about everything. I go with Iwo, its not today we know how much of a mf our president is. I think the president should look into this so as not to set this precedence or else marrying an elder ststeman is a ticket for political appointments, i suppose.

  39. @lolo una 3:33pm. Bianca is very educated. She is well travelled, schooled here in Nigeria and UK and she is a Lawyer. Please stop perpetuating hate!!! She was in my uncle's class in law school in Lagos. Beautifull women can be educated. It is very common in our country.

  42. Ambassador to this; Ambassador to that.. Every popular face is an ambassador in Ni-fucking-geria these days.

Even that Idoma masquerade, Susan Peters, is an Ambassador.

Make dem start Ambassador to Runs girls, Ambassador to Goodluck, Ambassador to Boko Haram etc. I don tire...

    ReplyDelete
  43. so because her husband is dead, she cannot become ambassador?, should she mourn ad infinitum? the man is dead, she is being kept busy, she is an intelligent woman, she should be working and not pretending like society would expect, ikembas death had been looming for a while, the sooner she gets over it d better, free her abeg, she has young children to take care of, ride on sis! chee

    ReplyDelete
  44. All dis over sabi busybodies dat hv been commenting dat she should stay @ home and mourn her husband, r u saying she can't mourn her husband while she works? Don't forget she's currently an S.A to d President on Diaspora.
    Lemme ask y'all another question.
Are u saying a widow should leave her job or business and stay @ home for one year to mourn her dead husband?
Would u do same if u were in her shoes?

    ReplyDelete
  45. People should just respect themselves and mind how dey comment. We will not tolerate any 'nonentity' (apologies to susan peters) taking a swipe @ Ikemba's pretty widow.
Who says she's not qualified to be an ambassador to Ghana? What do u no about Bianca? Do u think she's just all about Beauty? People just come here and display their ignorance and hate all the time but u don't c anything wrong wen thieving and corrupt politicians 'appoint' their wives as ministers, senators and house of reps members but wen it comes Ojukwu u all start ranting lyk insects.
    Please be guided accordingly!

  46. All these insults! Hang yourselves if you please - she is well educated. All those you mentioned with past work experience definitely started from somewhere. Unarguably she certainly has further wisdom she acquired from mere listening to her late husband (older but wiser than you). You haters do not have & would never have that kind of wisdom - no amount of education or wealth can buy that - so zip your bloody mouth. Jump off your roofs or knock your heads if you may. Well done Lady!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Go and yansh Jonathan or Obj or anyone in PDP, you would be made an ambassador quickly! Or if you have to do it the proper way you have to be a career diplomat. Study International Relations or Politics, work in UN, Ecowas, stuff like that.

    1. @Anonymous Mar 16, 2012 01:17 AM you definitely are uncouth, gutter brought up, and Vvvery uninformed amongst other derogatory words I'd like to use on your deserving self but that I feel will even dignify you. I blame Linda who refuses to moderate her blog against below par fish brained nothings like you.
How dare you use the word 'nyash' in the context you applied it. You belittle a lady like that for what? In your miserable life you may never amount to anything close to her accomplishment if you persist in this mindset. For your information you don't necessarily require any of the degrees you outlined. Now read this numbskull or dummy as you are more like, the ambassadorial post is a political one often and requires career officers or professionals to see it function.

  48. GOOD LUCK TO YOU. BUT AS A NIGERIAN AND AN IGBO WOMAN U SHOULD MOURN YOUR HUSBAND FOR A YEAR BEFORE ALL THESE POLITICAL JINGOISMS...

    ReplyDelete
  49. All of u questioning her capabilities, sharrap ya mouths!!! Do u know d sheer magnitude of knowledge and intellect dis woman has acquired? She is highly educated and,HELLO, she drank 4rm d fountain of knowledge itself....OJUKWU! She learnt at d feet of d master!! She's highly qualified, i can't say d same abt our ambassador 4rm Edo state who culdn't answer basic questions at d senate screening, failed and had to repeat. Bianca ride on , i foresee u becoming d gov of ur state and then d vice president of Nigeria!! Mark my words!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Linda i feel for u! I wonder why you've got very crude followers! Some comments I see here r unbelievable!Ngozi, for ur info, Bianca does not use any bleaching cream. She is naturally fair like her mum! I am doubly sure u use tura and ncha nkota! Crazy you! Confirm your story before posting!

    ReplyDelete
  51. To those that are ignorant about Bianca"s pedigree...she is a seasoned Lawyer and very well educated. so why do you think she can"t carry out the duty of an ambassador. How many of your PRESIDENTS had a university education? let me not go into the qualifications of most of your assembly members......hissssssssss

I am a very ambitious woman and would really like to make something of myself. I am disappointed with the advice people are giving. I wish her all the best and hope that I can make something of myself too someday.

  53. nawa ooo when did her hubby die and sharp sharp she has finished mourning him to become ambasador ogaju and what exactly has she done in nigerian if i may ask...nothing as far as i can remeber except become a beauty queen . even with her law degree how many cases have we heard that she defended probably none and all of a sudden she is an amb when there are others who have given their duties to the state and not been recognised. well they say bottom power dey alive wella wella....

  54. Mourn ke?dis is d opportunty she's been waitn for her life tym.I knw so many nigerians dat r more qualified n educatd dan she is yet they r not even close to aso rock, abegiiii, let her use wat she has to get wat she wants. If I were her,I wil screw my way to becoming d ist lady.wink

  55. There are Career Diplomats and Political Diplomats. She's the latter just like Obanikoro. Anyone can be an Ambassador these days as long as you know the right strings to pull. Ghana is near enough to Nigeria for her.

  56. Bianca is a very intelligent and mature woman i believe. She has a business line of her own,has being managin Ojukwu's business for a long time, very intelligent&brave. She also has a mind of her own.by d way, read the comment, d ambassador is not through yet, so by that time, she will be way out of mourning to take up the appointment

    ReplyDelete
  57. lol @ the comment "she drank from the fountain of knowledge itself".....im sure she did *wink*....she also kissed the lips of wisdom and was schooled in the ways of ....*coughs*

  59. If its about education, i'm sure most of us here qualify to be ambassadors. However, a beauty terapist, housewife, sorry homemaker as its called these days to represent us? Common, lets get serious now. If we were not as fucked a country, we should ideally have only career diplomats as ambassadors.
