I've said it many times that Flavor is the MOST talented Nigerian musician of the 21st century. The best I have seen so far. He has separated himself from the auto tune melody which has ravaged Nigerian music industry. When people praise peter and paul square or Dbanj and Tubootyface , I wonder whether they've not listened to flavor.Flavor's music dominates all the African parties in the US and now he is getting intercontinental audience, it is very crucial for him to curtail/eliminate using the local Ibo language in his song so all man go follow his flow. If he must sing with vernacular, let him use Yoruba because it is more international and sexy.Nobody wants to listen to okoro language. ---Gbenga
First of all, I think he is RAS and Tiwa should not have dropped her standards to feature in this cheap flick BUT you know wot, it turned out to be a nice song, VERY good video and well put together audio. Well done to u both...(I still think he is RAS tho)
Eeeeya sorry Gbenga..Flavour is d bomb anyday anytime. Hw on earth is yoruba sexy.u re just tribalistic block head..wake up and embrace one naija jare. U knw nw Flavour better pass u whether e sing 4 okoro or igbo language we just love him so get dat into ur thick skull..olodo
Hmmmm, Bamisoro. I ask you, what is your definition of razz? Is it because the dude sings in his local dialect or in pidgin? Please explain to me cos Asa sings in Yoruba. Or do you know Flavour personally? Even so, still define the word 'RAZZ'. Tiwa sunk low by doing the re-mix with him? So his razzness also reduced his standing as a human being... I'm amazed.
We Nigerians sha! We love to put down our own. The culture we should embrace and hold tight to, we call razz. Now our youth find it so hard to speak their local dialect in public so they are not called razz.
i can tell you that this 'Razz' dude is one of the few original artists we have in this country. And the world is gradually recognizing him. You will be amazed to know how much airplay he's receiving in the US and Europe.
I'm amazed that most of my friend's kids cant speak or understand their local dialects and they are feeling hip. They would rather have their kids speak with a british or american accent. How many americans can speak decent english pls? I guess our culture should go on the endangered species list cos in another 50 year from now, its probably gonna be extinct.
hmmmm, razz sha..... i bet Ara, the drummer girl is also razz but the reality is that these people have worked with international artists that you will only see on TV and in your dreams in your entire lifetime.
LOL Gbenga, be ready for the insults which you totally deserve ! I didn't like this song when i first heard it almost 2years ago. Never thought i'd like a song with "razz" lyrics using "my jellof(sic) rice" to describe a female but i can't stop singing the song! Like Flavour!
gbenga you are very wrong for dissing the igbo language, so if he sings in yoruba how will igbo people follow him? shame on you this is why nigeria is still so divided.
@Gbenga That's why he's unique. If you like him that much why not get an Igbo dictionary or teacher ? Beautiful combo, that's what you get when talent is at play.
