28 year old Olusoji retired from professional running and joined the Navy last May to provide a more settled life for his wife and baby daughter. He's married to 400m runner Ngozi Nwokocha, and they have seven-month-old daughter Annabelle.
As a runner, Olusoji set an African record in the 100m of 9.85 seconds, just 0.27 of a second slower than the fastest man in the world, Usain Bolt.

ReplyDeleteRoyal Navy ???
WTF
Why Royal Navy?
Is he GAY???
The AirForce or Army is best if he's not GAY.
If he's not gay now, by the time he retires from the Navy, he'd be so gay, even his mother won't recognise him :)
Are u saying all members of d royal navy are gay??? Haba , bad belle... Be happy for him. Probably d Nigerian Navy wouldn't give him a chance...abi u too dey dat side....it takes one to know one y'know
DeleteNice to see Nigerians abroad doing well and making us proud.

The Sports Commission always screws athletes. Francis Obikwelu, at one time the fastest Nigerian tuk up Portuguese citizenship 'cos Nigerian officials did not come to his aid when his girlfriend died in a stadium while he was competing for Nigeria...Fasuba na for Queen and country jor, no mind detractors.
ReplyDelete*Ayamtanga
A.Kardashian...repent or u perish
ReplyDelete@ jabah it seems u r talking from experience , did the navy make u gay ???
ReplyDeletenaija navy ko naija navy nii hisssssssssssssssssss
ReplyDeleteThe way Naija lets talents go to waste is sooo disappointing..we forget that everything adds to National Glory and many countries are known for their athletes alone... Speed is in dis dude's DNA, his mom (of Jamaican descent)was faster dan him for many years while training him back in Sapele,...Thats d kind of talent our country should jump up, support and celebrate... not useless lawmakers who only care bout law-breaking!
ReplyDeleteBest Wishes to him n his family jare!
Am glad for you man
