  6. @ anon 10:18 ds was a case of online dating which is not stupidity. so many people av met their better half through the medium that is why the useless naija kids r going thru it because there are pple out thr that av success stories of online dating. Lets call a spade a spade wat they did was wrong and shld b punished accordingly. people like this disgrace Nigerians abroad and when you do not associate with them they say you act too big. Your values and integrity speaks for you no matter where you are. Am glad they replaced the louisV shoes with inmate flip flops for him!

  8. they preyed on her desperation and loneliness period. i mean even after all she was told and heard the woman still believed he would pay her money back and come live with her etc but seriously though these are the people giving naija people a bad name it doesn't even matter what passport you hold these days as long as your name is recognizable as naija you are automatically considered a fraudster

  21. I felt terribly disgusted and ashamed watching this.
    Is there anything bad in falling in love? As far as I know, there is no crime to it and love is something that every single one of us pursues in life.
    These guys now taking advantage of it is terrible.
    They aren't just taking away people's money, they are breaking their hearts and slowly killing them. Just for the sake of beeing able to buy designer clothes and let the disgusting pot bellies be sticking out more and more.

  22. Dis our 9ja guys are smart, reaping 4rm where did nt sow. $50,000 wow

  23. The government has a lot to do with value and integrity. There is a culture of corruption and poverty reflected by d minimum wage and all worth not! I live in Europe and these people are generally very trusting and it is very wrong to play with people's trust

However, the women are STUPID with a capital S. i have nothing against online dating and i know many have found their life partners through this forum. But how can you wire such huge aount of money (100,000 dollars, 300,000 dollars etc) to someone you have never met and is professing love. what kind of dirty love is that. Love where the person keeps asking you to send money, and you the BIG FOOL continues to send. Pls if na so loneliness dey do u, go buy vibrator abeg.....

How in the hell can you give out that money to someone you have never met? These white women baffle me. Some blame it on loneliness but loneliness doesnt rob you of your common sense.

  51. percentage of online scams committed worldwide
    UNITED STATES = 60%
    UNITED KINGDOM = 20%
    NIGERIA = 7%

    dont mind these fucks that wanna say Nigeria is scam land or these western countries (i.e. the US) that spend so much time trying to paint Nigeria as a scam or fraudulent country while the US and UK account for 80% of all the online scams that goes on in the world. but remember because our leaders have failed us, our country is not developed and because we are BLACK/AFRICAN, the stigma and blacklisting must go on.
    the people who get scammed deserve it. how can one be so stupid and gullible? Fools as such should not be able to access the internet, PERIOD.

    Even the comments here are agreeing with simple fraud. A nation full of wild wicked animals acting dressed up like human beings, burning up their young ones in Jos,killing scamming prostituting captures them well. the few sanes ones are hustling to get out as far as possible or killed for being sane.

  59. So sad. Preying on lonely and gullible people is just so cruel. These boys are just heartless.
