'Nkiru' Dazzles Audiences

It is impossible to see Nkiru, the critically acclaimed short movie produced by Nigeria’s own 37th State Productions, without marveling at the extraordinary local talent assembled under one umbrella. At its recently held premiere at the Muson Center, Onikan, guests got a chance to experience the much talked about supernatural thriller which was directed by Bolaji Kekere-Ekun.

  2. The poster looks badt gan(in a good way o). I love it when Nigerians break conventional norms of 'alaroro-ism' and spend money and time doing a great movie. Can't wait to see it:)

  5. Yes evrything doesnt have to be geneviveve,there are much more talented actresses in nollywood and nkiru is one of dem,she dey act.I dnt care wat anyone says,she is better dan geneviveve #opinion

  10. i will go to see this movie if it comes to the cinemas and i will buy copies of the DVD and send to friends who are into this kind of films (i am not).I am tired of seeing flicks with the same faces,fake accents and weaves.just damn tired of it.

  15. I definitely want to see this. Sounds interesting but bia Kekere ekun, why would you title it Nkiru? what of folasade or omoshalwa or akorede. I beg give Yoruba girls a movie title that will be talked about for long na. Like Nneka the beauty serpent or even Sharon the Stone

  18. FYI - Nkechi/Nikki's father is actually igbo - Her step father is the one is yoruba hence the last name Bakare, her bio fan't use his name.

  19. nice, i cant wait to watch it. i see kc ejelonu is in this, having a crush on her, i first noticed her in the beazy video for over and over and read an interview she had few weeks back. nollywood needs new and fresh faces. most especially, intelligent people.
