I'm being sued...

OK, so I received a call and a letter from a few lawyers very early this morning saying that I'm being sued for defamation of character, for a story and comment I allowed on this blog recently. It was mostly for the comments. I have since taken the post down but unfortunately they have a printed/cached copy of everything that was written which they plan to tender in court.

I'm scared out of my mind because I've never been in this kind of trouble before. But my lawyer, who I just came off the phone with says they don't have a case. Is he correct? Can I beat this?

According to the letter, the case is before an Ikeja High Court...

The only way to marry my girl is to quit smoking, but I can't do that!

My girlfriend says she will only marry me on the condition that I quit smoking. The problem is, I've been smoking for 19 years and I don't know how to quit. But I love her so much and I don't want to loose her, so what do I do? Should I pretend to quit? But for how long can I carry on with the charade, because sincerely, quitting is not an option for now.
Help.
Sincerely, Mike.

I think with men, it's either you take them the way they are or you leave them. It's difficult to change a man. Not impossible, just difficult. Over to you guys, Mike needs your advice.

England-based Nigerian forward Victor Moses yet to be cleared by FIFA to play for Nigeria

Victor Moses watching from the bench as Nigeria defeated Ethiopia 4-0 during the African Cup of Nations qualifying match in Abuja on March 27, 2011.

Nigeria announced on March 25, 2011 that England-based Nigerian forward Victor Moses, who plays for Wigan Athletic, will not play in March 27's Nations Cup qualifying match against Ethiopia in Abuja as FIFA is yet to approve his application to switch allegiance to Nigeria after he featured for England at Under-17 and Under-21 levels. But Nigeria plan to line him up for today's friendly match against Kenya. I hear he's a very good player, so watch out for him!

BTW, Victor's parents (who were Christian missionaries) were killed in Kaduna during one of those Muslim/Christian clashes in 2002 when Victor was just 11 years old. He was relocated to the UK by other family members immediately after his parents death.

Last night it was Sambo vs Sambo. What will you be watching tonight?

We have the Nigeria vs Kenya match (6pm). England vs Ghana match. And President Goodluck Jonathan vs President Goodluck Jonathan Presidential debate. What will you be watching tonight?

Last night I watched the Silverbird TV organized Governorship debate and the Sambo vs Sambo Vice Presidential debate organized by the Nigeria Election Debate group (NEDG) and I...errrrmm...wasn't it embarrassing? Our vice president debating with himself, for himself, and against himself. What happened to the other candidates? Oh I remember, they pulled out...

And tonight it will be our president's turn to debate with...himself. Not cool, but looking forward to it...:-)
Tune in 8pm tonight on NTA
