  2. This is a message for nollywood and a statement by ghana. few yrs from now an african movie would win the oscars.....nollywood must take it first....the ghanian government has also released funds according to their vive president to support ghaliwood.

nollywood sakeholders should go for the money $200 million that jonathan has dished out and produce films on 35mm or with average HD CAMS.

If you think leila Jnasi and Frimpong Manso are joking, u better think twice.

if ghana picks the american oscars forst...they would make mokery of nollywood.

We should also watch our titles and make it more reflective.

i do not hate my ghanian brothers but we know that the competition has just began

  4. Nich if you do your research properly you will find out that they are some african films which have won oscars already, eg Tsotsi. I think the first Oscar for a black african director will come from countries that are little known in the industry, like Zimbabwe, Congo, Kenya etc. look at what Viva Riva has done. who ever thought Congo could come up with such a strong film. Nigerians and Ghanians are just too proud for nothing. they have a lot to learn. look how proud Leila Djansi is when she opens her mouth. i wonder what will happen if she wins an Oscar. Anyway congratulations to the winners. And remember, humble yourself and the Lord will lift you up

  8. We don't spend good money 2 make quality movies.... fake movies dnt receive awards. I wonder when we are going 2 learn. The way it is going, our movie industry might drop suddenly. How can we put fake movies in the market and expect them to win awards. But not to worry 9ja....i'm on my way.

  9. We have really good !!! story lines, highly educational and entertaining, but we need to improve our production quality and brush up on our acting. Not to say that we do not have some excellent actors, we do! i hope the Africa movie awards committee don't see us as a joke..
