Police DIG Mysteriously Dies In Lagos Hotel Room

Just a few hours after representing the IG of Police Hafiz Ringim at a function in Ikeja, Lagos, on Thursday Dec 16th, the Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of Force Criminal Investigations Department, Abuja, Mr. Ganiyu Dawodu died inside a hotel room at Ikorodu, Lagos, in the company of another female police officer, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) serving in Rivers State.

He was said to have complained to the female officer that he was not feeling well, then lost consciousness and died before help could get to him.

  11. Looks like he died of heart attack brought on by excessive frantic sex. Enjoyment kills. If only he'd stayed faithful to his wife. The female officer should be kicked out of the police force. People like her is not needed within the Nigerian police force. She's a durty durty very durty stinking horr.

  19. Its unfortunate that he had to die, and in that manner.

To be in the company of a female officer...I'm assuming he was married? Was the lady married??

What a big shame, and its sad that not only did he die but that his family also has to suffer the embarrassment as well.

Seriously there only 2 major ways of appearing on ur blog
    1. You are celebrity. In which case you are slaughtered by LIB commentators e.g. For havin a poor dress sense etc.
    2. You are commoner. In that case a tragedy must have happened to you e.g. Rape, Murder, Suicide etc
Summary is that on LIB you cant win!

  36. We are talking about someone's father, husband and brother. Please respect him and his family. These posts are really insensitive. Regardless of how he passed on give him his last respect and allow his family mourn his passing. A pity that we Nigerians have no respect for human life.
