Pakistani actress in hot water over nude photoshoot for FHM

A 33-year-old Pakistani actress, Veena Malik, is in hot water for posing nude on the December edition of FHM India. The magazine was released yesterday and her Pakistani people are outraged and calling for her head, causing Veena to deny posing nude for the magazine. She is now insisting the picture had been 'doctored' and asking her lawyer to sue the magazine.

FHM India insists the photo wasn't touched and say they can prove the actress had excitedly posed for the magazine. Who do you believe? The photo doesn't look 'doctored' to me...

  7. Islamic Republic of Pakistani people are outraged and calling for her head because its a sharia ( islamic law ) country. Whether the picture was 'doctored' or not, theres is no freedom under sharia law.

The real question here is not about who to believe. I believe in freedom, justice and equality. There's no freedom, justice, equality or even peace or security under sharia law.

"Religion is a guilt - producing control business. God is not a Christian, nor a Jew or Muslim or Hindu or a Buddhist. Religion is a human invention and system. It's a tradition. Your tradition or religious belief does not define God. It only points you to God." - Words of a very wise person :)

At 33-years-old, this Pakistani actress, Veena Malik, is an ADULT and CAN pose nude in FHM, PlayBoy or any magazine. She also has God given right, free will and freedom to be in a porn movie. She has the right to do whatever she wants.

  8. You wouldn't know if it has been retouched or not, isn't that the whole point? they wouldn't put an OBVIOUSLY retouched photo on their cover. She's innocent until proven guilty!

  12. But why o why? She knows her country and what they stand for, so she should have acted with wisdom. She better seek asylum elsewhere because I am sure someone will definitely kill her over this.

  16. linda the problem with the Pakistanis is not with the nudity but the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI)spy agency inscription on her arm. that was what lead the girl Veena to say that the inscription was doctored. for more details on the issue you can visit BBC news Asia.
    chucks.

  19. The girl no use her head! She knows that the country she comes from and the religion she was raised in so why did she say YES when FHM called her to do the shoot? She should have done that after exiling herself and not when she knew she still wanted to go home. Is the Pakistani government right for infringing on her free will, NO but she too should have used her coconut!

  20. That's culture for you. Her native people(majority) don't cherish such. So how can someone be influencing us with gay union. It's not a bad thing Europe or US but in her country, it is. So that's culture and we don't want gay. Even if things change in this country and majority are supporting gay, i will prefer to live on mountain forest. As for the actress, she might be denying it. Western influence abi. You want to be like them. If Any Nigeria actress try this for now, she knows she can't earn prestige but otherwise.
