  13. Naija movie production sef na wa. You can buy a bald cap for $30 and no one would know the difference between it and an actual bald head...

SMH. I wonder if they would allow an actual masectomy to be performed if they play the part of cancer patients...

  19. Na wa o, dont these people feel like copycats, first it was Patience Ozokwor, Stella Damasus, Mercy Johnson, Adaora Ukoh now its Oge's turn, maybe tomorrow Uche Jumbo's turn or Chioma Chukwuka's turn. Those movie producers should find something else to do jor.

  25. Millions ke? For where? For wetin? Abeg Linda, just leave the monetary side. These actresses can claim. Thats how Adora did hers for free so that she can be on the news. If indeed Oge got millions, let her go and buy range rover SUV like her mates and stop hating those who are more successful than she is. AMEBO Oge.

    ReplyDelete
  32. @Rebranding done right THANK YOU i rem mentionig the same when Mercy Johnson shaved hers for a role as well anyways with plenty of castor oil her hair should grow back in no time. but it is stupid to shave off hair when there are alternatives available they might as well start khaving sex for real in those love scenes ha ha ha if they dont already *evil grin*

  33. Dumb and Dumber...whatever happened to skull cap....

  34. hair shaving seems to be a trend.
she looks as traumatized as I would be if I had to shave my mane.

I financial benefits should help sooth the feeling of losing your hair. heck, you might even like it

  35. Follow follow wld nt kee sum pple nah mercy johnson stat am den adora nw oge...........................OK OH.

    ReplyDelete
  36. CAN THEY BE ORIGINAL PLEASE?! this is like the fourth or fifth person that is shaving their head for to play the role of something. get a bald cap and call it a day, PLEASE. millions to do that? what a waste.

    ReplyDelete
  37. A bald cap would have done the trick better that shaving off a married woman's hair. Dem wan kill her husband. She truly truly look like a widow. Bald cap is between $30 and $50. Pls wise up joo.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Mercy Johnson, Adaora Ukoh and now Oge, (did Stella shave her head for 'The Widow?") Anywho, I wonder what this movie would be called from Lady Gaga to ????

Is it that this folks don't like bald caps or the entire hair shaving is just to give the movie publicity, I'm lost

  39. she looks like something from an alien movie lol

  40. what is wrong with nigerians, does it bite you people to support your own? must you be negative all the time? is this one envy or what? commend the womans efforst, it takes heart to do somethin like this. she looks beautiful regardless. she is not her hair. she looks the same . her scalp dont look darker so stop trying to start your own follow follow gossip.maybe you need glasses. besides no matter if you bleach or not seeing as your scalp is always covered with hair , it cannot i repeat cannot possibly be darker because sun light doesnt hit it, it is naturally lighter. duh common sense. haba the reason they dont use scalp caps is because they actually cut the hair in the movie. it makes it look more realistic. american people cut hair in movies too look at demi moore when she played GI jane. common. stop dowing your own people.

    ReplyDelete
  41. How come these actresses like following the same pattern? Before now, it was Mercy Johnson, then beautiful big size actress, now Oge Okoye.Well...i rest my case

    ReplyDelete
  42. one very very ugly flat woman shai na wa ooo

    ReplyDelete
  43. chei c gorimakpa. she look lyke a monk to wit dat black tin she has on.

    ReplyDelete
  44. yes, i agree with you Linda, it's not bad... it's horrible!

    ReplyDelete
  45. It doesn't fit her joor, she wanna be like MJ!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Babe, it fits perfectly. Abeg do ur thing, god pass them.

    ReplyDelete
  47. maybe they ve just be wanting to shave off their hair, and an opportunity came in form of a role in a movie..i am just saying!!

    ReplyDelete
  48. HOW MANY SHAVING HEAD STORIES will they force on us??? GOODNESS!!!

    ReplyDelete
  49. I think she looks good with it.

    ReplyDelete
  50. @Anonymous 1233 her scalp is darker makes sense but does not mean she bleached. Our hair protects us from some UVA and UVB from the sun and so just like the areas you always cover with clothing are lighter ...if you shaved your hair it would be lighter. The only time it wouldn't be the case is if you always wore braids or you have very thin hair hence got some sun penetration through out your life.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Lol! @ anon 1:13....couldn't agree more!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Hmmmm, I wonder if they would cut off her tit if she had to act in a movie where she was a cancer patient....i guess the millions would replace that....clowns!!!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Uche jumbo, mercy johnson, bimbo akintola etc all did it for movies why not. Oge should stop lying about millions....who will pay her that? Say she's trying to get to the top and i hope it's a good story cos shaving off ur hair for a bad disjointed movie won't make it a good movie ask mercy johnson

    ReplyDelete
  54. Hia! It's JUST HAIR! I mean as an actress, a real one, you should do WHATEVER IT TAKES to make your role believable even if it means chopping off your hair. It shouldn't have to make the news, should it?

But if they are willing to pay her millions of Niara, I say take the money and run (shave).

    ReplyDelete
  55. Errrrrrrr, how is this an issue with nollywood, when I watch these movies, I'm not fascinated about the fact that they are bald, so why are they getting millions for it? ***confused*** plus I think she looks sick.

    ReplyDelete
  56. What is the deal with shaving one's hair for these local poorly made mediocre movies???...why is everyone shaving their heads?? how many widow camcorder movies will nollywood recycle and churn out????...the follow follow mentality of these so called camcorder actresses is mind boggling..

whatever happened to using a prosthetic cap, and make up to create the semblance of a shaved hair ???

    ReplyDelete
  57. What an ugly looking lady. Thank God for hair and money.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Bald cap anyone *rolls eyes*

    ReplyDelete
  59. she looks horrible

    ReplyDelete
  60. To play a wife? Nollywood and follow follow, how many widows do that pls? Well at least uche Jombo and bimbo akintola did theirs for cancer movies btw Linda pls have you heard anything about holding hope or uche's fall out with Emem and Desmond is keeping the movie from coming out?ilove nollywood gossip (evil smile)

  64. she looks like a rat in d second pic...more like nkaku!

    ReplyDelete
  65. The girl was not good looking to begin with...now she looks like an alien from outta space...kinda like ET's sister or wife. Abeg she should stick to her ugly weaves. I always criticised those weaves, but seeing these fugly photos, i appreciate why she desperately relies on those terrible weaves.
