The singer, who was in Lagos over the weekend, signed Tuface Idibia, Wizkid and P-Square as representatives for his Konvict Music Record Label in Africa. He made the revelation during a press conference at Jay Jay Okocha's Club 10.
Akon was in Nigeria for the unveiling of a new energy drink.

ReplyDeleteHappy for 2 FACE and Whiz Kid but P Square should be way ashamed of themselves. Just before their show in London they vehemently said they do not need any foreign collaboration from Yanky or Jand because it will not enhance their music in any form. Shame shame shame!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteNext time Psquare (considering you cant speak english properly), I think you should have thought of the future before making such statements. Luckily Whizzy was dere and didnt say a word.

ReplyDeleteI don't know how i feel about this one. Do they have to be signed to his label? They were doing good before Akon and will do good without him.
ReplyDeleteAkon...just a question...so you are telling me this Akon dude cannot go and find people to sign in his own country? These people THINK they are smart. I wonder who will be signed next? kmt
ReplyDeleteI like these guys, i truly do for but WTH is Konvict music label reps in Africa??? I can't stop laughing...Akon signs anyone and anything to his stupid label, and ends up doing nothing to help them in anyway except himself. I pity these poor dudes, they shouldn't get their hopes up cos Akon... I hate to say is wack.
