Sent my new photographer to go cover the burial and take pictures. Heard it was a really sad ceremony. It took place today at Atan Cemetery, Yaba, Lagos.
Titi, a mother of one and a banker, was murdered by her husband, Akolalde Arolowo in June 2011, in their home. May her soul rest in peace. Amen! More photos after the cut...

Press Conference on Late Titi Arowolo's Case; The Journey so far
You are kindly invited to a press briefing on Late Titi Arowolo and the Case so Far.
You will recall that in June this year, the news of the cold blooded murder of a young female banker in the hands of her husband reached us.Today (Wednesday 16 November) her remains was laid to rest after the autopsy result was released.
In order for us to follow up with the judiciary and other relevant authorities to see that justice is done, we are inviting you to this press briefing where the family lawyer will give an update on the case so far and what to look out for in the days to come.
Date: Monday November 21, 2011
Venue: Project Alert's Office, 21 Akinsanya Street, off Isheri Rd, (by FRSC) Ojodu Berger.
Time: 10am prompt.

Why would her known murderer go for her burial?
Burials are meant to bring closure but not in this case. Still so sad.
OMG I had to get up from my desk and I had to go and cry up a river in the ladies room. This is heart wrenching. How could he do that? What kind of demonic force overtook him? My Gosh he HATED that woman to have butchered her up like that. Look at this poor little angel now without a mom. Only God can judge that monster really!

ReplyDeleteLinda, i am in no way advocating for anyone, but please try as much as you can to use proper etiquette when describing issues or ascribing labels to anyone no matter the situation. It is your blog and you can most def do as you wish, in as much as i believe that the man is guilty because that is the only fathomable scenario. We will be wise to call him an "Alleged wife killer" as opposed to matter of fact wife killer until he is tried and convicted by a competent law court. Unless of-course he has been tried and convicted, then accept my apologies for calling you out on the matter. May the young woman RIP, and may her killer be convicted in Jesus name

ReplyDeleteO ma se o. The innocent child has lost her mum. Just looking into the child's face brings tears to my eyes, such innocence. She probably doesnt know whats going on. Now she' s lost her mum and dad too.

Before you know it, this pictures would be splashed all over newspapers and blogs shamelessly without acknowledging the source. Linda, you had better start putting your name on your pictures.
