  9. lol, there are 4 vantage cars by Aston Martin,DB7,V12,V8 and the Vantage itself, this is an old model V8,and it is no where near 200k,the going rate is from 45k-60k,which is for the 05/08 model, stop mis-informing people, the latest Aston Martin which is for 2012 and the top of the line is the,'Aston Martin Zagato,'i am one of 7 people in the world to have pre-ordered,dont let people go stealing by hyping this celebs, also note that their bentleys are old model and it does not cost more than the price stated above since its an 05/06 bentley, the top of the line for Bentleys is the,'MULSANNE',enough said i am an authority on cars, and no one can doubt that,AY'S range rover sport is an 07 model, but it is pimped out with grills and chrome,so also is Ice prince and th prince range from their pics, the 010 and 011 range has only two frontal grill instead of 3,enough said, make sure you post this,i am tired of fake wannabe's trying to rub shoulders with made men.

  10. We all know D'bang don't have that kind of money. Of course D'band is loaded but he is smarter than to tie down his liquid cash on some Aston Martin. He is probably worth that money in cash.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Aston Martin is for the rich and sleek...

    ReplyDelete
  12. hahahah anon 10:10ppm vintage is a fashion apparel, bag e.t.c and vantage is a car model hmm.congrat dbanj

  15. I thing thats poor judgement in my opinion, i don't be grudge him at all. I have to say i do respect his achievements he worked very hard for his money, however we have given far too much to the western culture and enhance the economy while's has is in state of decline per second.

  16. Dude remember bobby brown and mike tyson, I once saw Tyson bought a £1m car in Park Lane London, but Dbaji should slow down..I hope he's not driving on our lagos 'Autoban'that car is for speed, and built for speed. Congrat.

  17. 30 whopping million!Yayyy! my man dbanj badman na baba God noni...

    ReplyDelete
  18. Congrat D banj but anouncing it is a little dangerous in naija. With all this News about Armed Robbers operating in daylight. I hope they are not planning to steal his car along with those of Jim Iyke. justsaying. I am not wishing them bad luck but low key is safe my dear.

  19. When you are big please let see how many hungry nigerians you were able to feed. I know there is nothing wrong in spending your hard earned money on what you like but still you could build a school with $200,000 in naija and provide jobs for more graduate. Unlike cars they depreciate in value and also have a higher risk in been pyscially damaged. Steve Jobs as we all know was successful and impacted the lifes of so many but he didn't go after flashy cars instead he focused on encouraging everyone around him to do better. Even fela kuti who is well regonised all over the world didn't go after flashy cars.
Anyway the $200,000 he spent would provide jobs for some in the U.S. So he can keep spending his naira in the U.S and helping the U.S economy. :)

    ReplyDelete
  20. Here's my thing with stories like these: not to hate on anyone but there's something about owning these kinds of flashy cars in a country like Nigeria that doesn't quite sit well. Is it just for show or will he actually drive it? Majority of the roads are bad and cruising in such a car in Nigeria will just make one a target for area boys/robbers. Again, this is not to hate on anyone but its something that came to mind when I saw this post. Any thoughts?

  21. For this our kurukere roads?

  24. Big Congrats D'Banj. May God lead and protect you. Please kindly remember the poor and the needy. Give to the poor and It shall be well with your soul.
Personaly, it gives me big joy whenever I give to the needy back home in Nigeria.
Although I dont make comments on issue like this.
My focus line of comment is about the massess and the lies of the government to the people. Also I love to comment on relationship between man and woman.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Good for you D'banj

    ReplyDelete
  26. I comment also on the Fallacies of some Pastors, Lies of Tithings and those who rob God. Flambouyants pastors with convoys and big security personel protecting them.

  27. dbanj nt worth 200000 dollars... what a lafff how much is that really? dude signed a contract with good life, is it free? dude gets at least 10 milla per performance, do u kno how many performances he has had? lets say its 30 performances... that 300 mills... 10k dollars if 1.6, 100k is 16, 200k is 32...so what is anonymous 12:52am on about?

    ReplyDelete
  28. So where is that fake ass jade cole with his bragging now?

  29. nice...

  30. D'banj gives money 2 charities, he decides 2 buy a car 4 himself, people complain, is he the president of nigeria!, is he your governor, do you pay taxes 2 him!.it's his hard earned money, so you guys shud free him. Whatever he wants 2 do with his money, is his business.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Not a wise decision from my main man Dbanj because aint nothing special about that car. Its built for fast speeds on nice highways like the ones we have in Yankee and not for bad congested roads like Lagos. Where does he expect to test the 200miles per hour speeds? on ajose adeogun or Ligali Ayorinde? He should have bought a bentley flying spur or something which is more comfortbale and can be driven slowly on our Lagos roads . But anyway na im money so enjoy.

Why do Nigerian guys always want to buy something flashy instead of something smarter. Even Adenuga children don't have this type of cars but instead ride in Range rover bullet proof which is rugged, comfortable and safer.

    ReplyDelete
  32. @ Anon 11:46, I love D'banj, he's a highly successful artist and can definitely afford the ride bt easy on ur figures. He does not earn 'at least 10 Million per show'. When you book the entire Mohits, u cld pay that figure, Dbanj performs for 3-4 Million which is still a lot bt 10Million...calm down

  33. This guy stays winning but forget car, na that ice cream of a woman called Nadia Buari dey make me jealous this guy.

  34. Anonymous, october 30, 2011 5:24 am.

The 200000 he spent would provide jobs for some on the U.S , so he can keep spending his naira in the U.S and helping the U.S enconomy.

Ok by u.s u meant America, right?
That the most stupidest comment I have seen in my whole life, he need to help the nigeria economy not U.S, them dnt need his help at all.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Anonymous 11.46, You are so wrong with your simple additions. Have you heard of operating costs, liabilities, and taxes, Insurances for those shows outside of nigeria. He got nothing from G.O.O.O.D Music for now. Liquid assets is different from other assets and goodwill. Of course I know D'bang is worth more than $200,0000. But I don't think D'bang is worth $1million in cash. So why spend $200,000 on a car.

    ReplyDelete
  36. dbanj no wan hear oo! kudos bro :)

    ReplyDelete
  37. Hmmmm bad belle people will always condemn and find faults in what people acquire. This guy has been working so hard just like every other person does.Allow him enjoy his money and its not your business if the car is a new model or an old one.He bought what his heart desires with his own money.Abi is it your money???????

    ReplyDelete
  38. Annon 11:52pm you have ao much money to buy the latest Aston Martin, and you are one of the seven people to have ordered it. Yet u have the time down to sit down on Linda's blog and spit rubbish. Nigga sit your broke ass down and stop claiming what u are not.

    ReplyDelete
  39. linda you can only buy a brand new aston martin for 200k and clearly thats not brand new. this is a DB7 which is the upgrade of dbanjs. now heck out how much it is here ----> http://www.astonmartinlongisland.com/web/used/Aston-Martin-DB7-Vantage-Volante-2001-Roslyn/1799021/

  40. Nice car. The maintenance in Nigeria may be his undoing.

    ReplyDelete
  41. DOES ANYONE KNOW THE WHAT HIS FOUNDATION IS CALLED.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Anon 4:19: You really are dumb. Whoeva made d comment abt helping the US economy was being sarcastic, mumu. And asking whether the US is the same as America, duh? I can't even believe I'm typing a reply to u

    ReplyDelete
  43. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with Dbanj acquring a $200,000 car. He's earned it so what's wrong with him spending it the way he deems fit? Dbanj is one of Africa's biggest music acts and it's not out of place for him to own such luxury accessories...and to those who suggest he builds a school (ala Steve Jobs) or employ graduates, we don't know his commitment(s)to charity and besides, that is the job of government. Dbanj, 2Face, P-Square, 9Ice, Jim Iyke, Genevieve and other Nigerian celebs/stars have done more to better the image of this country and how has Nigeria repaid them?? They have NOT stolen the nations wealth for personal use. Pls pls pls, let them do whatever they like with their hard earned money. Direct your anger and frustrations at our corrupt leaders.

    ReplyDelete
  44. FrenchKissMyBanana30 October 2011 at 20:22

Does he really need all these cars or does he own a taxi firm? I'm going to buy myself an ice cream van just like Tim Westwood. You don't pay congestion charge for an ice cream van.

    ReplyDelete
  45. If this is true then D'banj should think again. There's nothing wrong about having a good car but the bottom line a car does one main purpose which is take you from point A to B.
I reckon he has a comfortable car already. Let me say this if D'banj uses the money for the car to give 10 - 20 intelligent young people further education. He'll indeed have more than 20 AM cars in his lifetime.
If anybody dream is to drive AM before he or she dies...that person need to go back and dream again because there are more better and positive things we all can do in this world to make a difference.
I hope he finds an insurance company to insure the car and hope the night riders "robbers" don't pay him a visit with his AM..."security"
    D'banj think again.

  47. Dbanj can do whatever He wants with his money, including waste it. Buying a race car on lagos congested roads is the wise move from wise men. For crying out loud, even investing in 10 great business ideas to double your finances is so dumb. Buying more medical equipments, including those that don't even exist in Nigeria that would save many lives is pure foolishness. Starting a research institute to develop new inventions to make the country better is so ridiculous. Dbanj, abeg! ignore the haters, they only want to stop U from spending and wasting your cash. Your financial supply would never run out, coz your career is full proof. Congrats man.Congrats.

    ReplyDelete
  48. why do people always mistake candid and sincere opinions for player hating?
we all know D'Banj has money but please;what is the sense in buying a car that you cannot drive even on the best roads in Nigeria without its shock absorbers and everything else fall off piece by piece?

not even all celebs abroad can afford to buy some of this cars especially the so called hip hop artistes that act the fool on TV talking about sh***t they do not have..D'banj abeg, don't believe the hype oh!..stay grounded and be smart.

    ReplyDelete
  49. So basically Naija has changed. Kids will not need to swot for JAMB like we did back in the day. Its all about getting your entertainment career off the ground. SMH.

    ReplyDelete
  50. First of all, this picture looks like it was taken at a car dealership. Secondly, Anon 11.52pm just spat out so much misinformation with so much authority that I don't know where to start! Only a Naija is capable of that! Loool!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Linda, i will keep repeating that you need to authenticate your jists.

This used car is less tha $50k in the open market.

Stop all the over hype abeg!

    ReplyDelete
  52. everyone making comments here .... you are all so stupid.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Some stupid comments here, how does dbanj buying a car affect the price of rice in china. 'dbanj should build schools' , 'dbanj should pay for educating kids instead' na him papa born born them,. Why dont you ask your pastors in nigeria to stop buying gulfstreams and give the money to charity. Dbanj its your money if you like you can set it on fire, whose business.

    ReplyDelete
  54. wwew.... he is using a used car... my dad has got one of those and he got it for $84000.ok
all the same its an aston haters u can get the toy version its cheaper

    ReplyDelete
  55. Anonymous 12.13am - I love your sense of humor LOL that was funny. And I do agree with you entirely. I don't know how long that car will last in Nigeria, heck, maintenance sef, who go do am? Na road side mechanic go fix am? This is a waste of money. People are not saying the man should not jolly his hard earned money but it does NOT make economical sense to spend that much money on a car in a country with bad roads and worst still, people looking for others to rob at gun point! He could pick 10 children from an orphanage and pay for their education from primary to secondary school for that amount of money.

Nobody is hating on this guy, all people are saying is that he could do better. There is always an opportunity for grown in anyone and to whom much is given, much is expected and much would be asked of him.

    ReplyDelete
  56. @Anonymous October 29, 2011 11:52 PM

    Your analogies are wrong.

    It's about $70 - $90K used.

And the following Aston Martin vehicles have used the “Vantage” tag:
    1951–1953 DB2 Vantage
    1961–1963 DB4 Vantage
    1963–1965 DB5 Vantage
    1965–1969 DB6 Vantage
    1972–1973 Vantage
    1977–1989 V8 Vantage
    1986–1989 V8 Vantage Volante
    1988–1990 V8 Vantage Zagato
    1992–1999 V8 Vantage (Virage)
1998 Project Vantage (an early concept for the Vanquish)
    1999–2003 DB7 V12 Vantage
    2005– V8 Vantage
    2009– V12 Vantage

The problem with some of you here saying what D'banj would have used his hard earned money to do is that you don't mind your own business and because you don't have that kind of money and don't believe that you can have it with hard work and dedication like his.

You can't be his adviser, try and make your own money and advise yourself on how to make better use of it, from your comments I can see unconscious envy and jealousy in which you are not aware that you are just being jealous and envious of him buying himself an exotic car. If you stubble over such amount you will do more than you think he is doing. For goodness sake, it's his money don't cry on how he spends it.

Must he tell you how many people he has helped in education and otherwise before you can approve of him buying himself an exotic car. Impact the lives of people in your family and around and stop complaining about another person spending his money the way that pleases him.

It pleases him to have an exotic car, but if it does not please you, then leave him alone because the money is not yours and you did not work it out for him. People like DANGOTE buy private jet worth over $50m and you don't talk about them and tell them how to use their money, people in power steal Billions in Dollars and invest it outside Nigeria and you don't worry yourself about that, so stop all these ungodly comment about someone who have worked for his money and decide to buy himself an expensive toy. Make your money and go to the moon and give some alien quality education, I will not talk or comment about it, ok!!!! peace and one love!
